His Special Mate

Chapter 8

Maverick’s POV:

After going to the dungeon to interrogate the three id**ts that hurt my mate, I went home to quickly shower. I washed all the blood off my body, and it was sure a bit thrilling to watch Addy’s mother torture Makalia, but now I am eager to get back to my girl.

When I left Addy’s room, she was still passed out and Titan now won’t stop pestering me to go back to his mate. Gosh this darn wolf gives me a headache!

I quickly walk to the kitchen and grab a quick snack. I made myself a turkey sandwich, and then speed walk to the hospital as fast as I can so Titan will shut up.

I finish my sandwich just as I enter the hospital. I head into the elevator to the second floor, Titan starts stirring and growling. The smell of someone I know hits my nostrils and a growl escapes my lips. Makalia’s mother can’t be that stupid, right?

‘Kyle, I’m in the hospital hallway close to her sister’s room, tell your parents and mine and GET UP HERE NOW!’ I mind-linked him.

‘Yes, Alpha’ I hear his reply as I get closer to the room, the scent was still fresh and strong, telling me she is still inside the room.

I open the door so hard it, it hit the wall with a loud bang and Titan took over once we saw what Makalia’s mother was doing. A ferocious growl that shook the walls and made both women freeze.
