She died as an outcast. She rose as a legend

Ivory, a wolfless Omega and the laughingstock of her pack, was betrayed and killed by the one person fated to love her, Alpha Damon, to prevent an ancient prophecy from unfolding.

But death was only the beginning.

Reborn in the body of Ivy, a feared assassin known as the masked Phoenix, Ivory awakens with her soul intact, and a blade in her hand. Her past life’s pain fuels her fury, but fate has one more cruel twist: the powerful Alpha King who saves her life, Raphus, is her second-chance mate… and her next assassination target.

Torn between vengeance and a bond she never asked for, Ivory must navigate court treachery, a growing rebellion, and a prophecy that the people that created her would do anything to bury.

As her fire inside her awakens, Ivory must choose: burn the world down in revenge…or rise to rule it.

Chapter 1
Chapter 1 Ivory pov I could hear the sound of crunching leaves and breaking twigs as I ran deep into the forest. It was dark as though to add a wistful support and premonition to my condition. My heart pounded loudly, I could hear it as clear as day. You have to run Ivory, run! Run! He was getting closer, I could feel him even as I couldn't dare to look back. His steps were measured, precise, swift like a hunter in no hurry to get to his prey, knowing that his prey would never get away. I felt something warm trickling down my hands and glanced at it. Blood. I need to get away from whoever my pursuer was. My thoughts drifted back to the moments before this hour. It had been peaceful–sort of. I was in court in a nice dress and a plastered smile on my face, my fate uncertain but a little bright. A tear escaped from my eyes and more followed in succession. Was this my life, was this my fate? Where had I wronged the goddess so much to have to walk this path? Run Ivory, run! My legs were getting tired and my head spun but I could only obey the voice that whispered to me. I needed to live, even if it was a tiniest shot at hope. I needed to get revenge. I needed to pay back in double folds the humiliation and pains I had been put through because I adored him. Loved him. The memory was still fresh in my mind. He was standing before the Court council, his shoulders raised in the usual haughty manner and his hazel eyes glaring coldly at me. His words dripped with hate and sarcasm, biting and clawing its way to my frail devastated heart. “ You think you can be my Luna? A worthless Omega like yourself. Is that what you think”. My lips trembled and I stared at the ground, my eyes pooling with tears. I could feel everyone's stare on me, judging with the most malicious intentions and pure disdain and disgust–like I was some harlot or slave. I had always been mistreated and humiliated since I was a child. What was worse? I could not connect to my wolf at the day of the pack dance ceremony making me even more worthless. And then I discovered Lord Damon was my fated mate. I laughed in spite of my pain and stopped to catch my breath. My attacker wasn't that close and I needed a little….a little rest, peace. I don't know who he was or why he was after me but I knew I had to outrun him or my life was going to end. I stared at my wrist which was still bleeding and remembered the way Lord Damon grabbed me roughly. Upon discovering that he was my mate, my humiliation only tripled. Lord Damon never treated me with respect. I had imagined my life was going to be a little bit better but it had turned out worse than I had imagined. He didn't love me, I could deal with him not loving me but at least he could have protected me. Instead he rejected me as the trash he said I was. The trash I am thinking that indeed I am. I heard footsteps approaching and I broke into a run again. "I, Lord Damon Wingfield, Alpha of the Moonstone Pack, reject you, Ivory Quinton, as my mate and I banish you from the pack.” I stood there in front of him stunned, frozen and shaken. My hands trembled and my sight blurred with tears. “ I don't know why the moon goddess would wish me such ill fate to make you my mate. Make sure she leaves here and the pack”, he added as he turned his back on me and walked away. They had chased me away up to the mouth of the Akranhor Forest; a dark bleak forest that made every wolf’s hair stand on end and weakened the strongest of spirits. I had accepted my fate only for a very brief reprieve before I had another assailant on my trail. I tripped on a branch and crashed to the ground. He was getting closer, I let out a soft cry as I struggled to stand up, unable to feel my legs. You have to get away, Ivory, you have to run. A firm hand gripped my shoulders and I froze. He'd caught up to me. He'd found me. On impulse, I swung my arm towards him, hitting his hand off. I scrambled away and fell to the ground again. “ You'd better accept your fate”, He said in a low harsh voice. I crawled away from him and leaned against a tree. My head throbbed and my hands were bleeding. If running couldn't work, I might as well plead for my life. The man who emerged from the shadows wasn't what I expected. Tall and lean, with scars crisscrossing his exposed forearms and cold silver eyes that seemed to see straight through me. “ Who are you? What have I done to you”? He didn't say a word, only drew his sword and pointed it at me. “ I want to make this quick and painless for you. So don't ask any questions”. I sobbed, gripping my supposedly fractured leg. “ Please spare my life, I've been through worse”. Something like sympathy flickered in his eyes for a split second and his eyes returned to its ice cold aura. He approached me steadily and I tried to back away until my back hit the trunk. “I'll make it quick and painless. Just don't try to run from what you can't stop” I sniffed, feeling hopeless. I wish I was never born. “ Who sent you? I know you're not after me on personal accounts. Who sent you?”. He looked at me for a brief second and shrugged. He knew I was surely going to die so telling me whatever information he had was lost on me. “ Damon Wingfield”. My eyes glinted as I laughed bitterly. Hot tears spilling from my eyes. There I was thinking I could make my dream come true, I even had the wildest thought thinking I would still survive as a rogue. But what a joke! What a huge joke! He had already sent someone to silence me, long before I could even start my fantasies. The cold blade plunged into my heart and I gasped. Using my last strength, I looked up at the bright moon that hung in the sky, as if mocking the end of my pathetic life. If I had another opportunity, wouldn't that be great? I said to myself, as everything turned dark
