The Halloween Monster

Chapter 6

Bella

“What do you think it is. I can see the look on your face.” Lia asks me. I have the cat ate the canary look. I’m a little too pleased with what this monster is. I look over and smile at her which makes her take a step back… I guess I added the smile to the canary look.. oops.

“Don’t worry what the monster is. If what I think it is, then I’m sure Xavier and Jace will have the time of their lives.” I say with a chuckle.

We get to our dorm room. Thankfully us mated couples get two apartments. Mine and Bella’s are together which shares with Xavier and Jace. Where as the others get the other apartment across the hall. So we’re able to get ready and text Allyson to meet us at the party, which she fabulously agrees to come.

Since tonight is Halloween I’m dressed up as Wonder Woman while Lia is a…? Cat? Meow.. I guess. Which ever suits her fancy. I just can’t wait for the end of the night!

“How about I shift us to the guys when they say it’s going down?” I say to her as we head out. Lia looks over and smiles her agreement. Next stop! Allyson.

Lia

I look over at Bella and smile my agreement. We head down the hall to the stairs that lead down to the tunnels that will lead us to the theatre rooms. When we step downstairs we hear the monster directly ahead of us, we turn to each other and smile. Let’s play! I think. I know she heard me when she smiles and nods her head. Bella she grabs my hand and shifts us to another room. Which luckily this one is at the other end of the school leading to the other set of tunnels that actually leads us to where Allyson is to meet us.

We listen for a second. “Nice and no monster in sight. Let’s go” I whisper. We head down the tunnel and hear Allyson speaking to other people down there. There’s music playing, wait is that? The police? Spirits of the material world? Damn… the teachers have the DJ booth set with one of them. “Maybe we can DJ later to a good song?” I whisper as Bella giggles. We don’t hate, we love that song; just not at a school party.

When we arrive I see Allyson beautiful Blue eyes with sparkling black as midnight hair, curly and styled for the party. She’s wearing a blue shift dress and! Those are not f*****g Louis Vuitton pumps! That witch! I look over a Bella and raise my eyebrow and think she doesn’t deserve those! I swear she here’s me again when she mouths “I know!” Ha this girl. All I can think now is: let the games begin.
