They walked down the halls still holding up a bit of conversation. They got a few stares from everyone around, mostly because of the girl they were walking with.
After a few seconds the group finally came across Amanda’s room. Opening the door to the room everyone got in, taking their seats on either beds and the floor.
Payton sat right beside Avery, she missed her a lot. Before they stared dating they were good friends, really close ones in fact.
Growing up for Payton was a bit different from almost everyone. She constantly got hate from her mother’s parents and that affected a huge part of her life, she was closed off and had self hate.
So opening up to anyone was difficult and dating was a huge challenge. But she first opened up to Avery and each day they got close untill one day it just clicked. At that time she thought Avery was a human like everyone else so she wasn’t so open with her, but they were the happiest years of her life.
Payton shrugged the thoughts away, she looked up to only find those brown eyes on her body. Payton smiled a bit before breaking eye contact.
“So Avery what are you?” Ralph asked for a second the room went dead silent.
Avery looked away from Payton still composing that loving smile of hers, she replied to the boy. “Half human half werewolf.” She explained with a bit of enthusiasm on saying werewolf.
Avery had a human mother which explained why it took her a bit longer to bloom then an Avery werewolf child. But when she did it was when she was with Payton, some time she successfully controlled her anger and abilities but as she got older she couldn’t. And as a result things with Payton had to come to and end.
Dahlia looked at the girl with a wide smile she finally found a buddy, just like Jaan and Ralph had Payton, Amber had Dixie. Now she had a fellow werewolf, no Keelin didn’t at all count.
“You don’t fully shift?” Dahlia found herself asking Avery.
She looked to her palms with a slight frown on her face, but as soon as it appeared it left. “Sadly. I can’t.” but she did get all the abilities, quick reflexes, strong smell, the crawls, the teeth but her body couldn’t contain a full wolf. But with the things she had she was happy.
Avery looked over to Payton again this time with a mischievous grin. “How about you Catherine, witch? fay?” she asked, only using her first given name to irritate her.
Payton noticed the playful tone in her voice, deciding to to ignore it she simply shrugged. “Vampire, angel.” she sort of murmuring looking down to the floor.
“Wow. You have wings?” Avery squealed. The girl had never seen anything more than her father as a wolf, not even a wing of a fay or anything. That’s part of the reason she was excited to be here, to see and associate with other creatures. And life shocked her with her old time friend being here.
Tina joined in on their conversation looking up from where she sat she threw a comment. “She has beautiful ones.” the admiration in her voice wasn’t at all hidden.
Avery shook her head understanding but then something in her mind clicked. “How come I dated you for three years I never saw them? And also knew you for longer.” she questioned looking over at Payton for answers.
Payton nervously rubbing her neck avoiding eye contact with Avery. “I never really removed my shirt did I?” she murmured under her breath hoping no one heard.
But her friends did they all now dropped their other conversations, giving the two girls their undivided attention.
“Even in bed?” Amber asked eyeing Payton with a hint of amusement.
Avery firmly agreed with a head nod, “I remember, not even in bed. And can I say it took me time to take her in bed.” she joker the last part even though it wasn’t all a lie.
“Payton was shy??” Her friend Tina asked in disbelief, Payton just stared at the floor.
“She still is guys.” Dahlia added pointing at Payton who was avoiding all their stares. They all giggled a bit at the sight.
Avery threw her arm over Payton’s shoulder lightly squeezing her. “Yeah she is but she was worth the wait.” she winked at Payton and the rest of the group broke out in laughter as Payton blushed.
As they were busy laughing the door to the room suddenly opened and no other that Amanda stood their. “Oh look all the homos in one place.” She teased closing the door behind her.
Everyone looked down on Ralph waiting for him to at least object like he always did. But the guy just threw his arms in the air, “You know what, I’m not going to deny it anymore. Why does every girl go to the girls, maybe I need a boyfriend.” he rumbled remembering all the times it had happened.
The friend group giggled as they watched Ralph. Tina on the other hand glared at the girl, “How does it feel to be in the closet Amanda?” she hissed looking annoyed, she had the right to be after what happened.
“It’s lovely. I started a cult in there.” Amanda spoke without a single care in the world.
Tina laugh brutally looking at her in disgust. “To openly experiment on out girls while you hide who you are?” she asked in a mocking tone.
The other girl dramatically grasped placing her arm over her chest. “Someone’s still pissed off.” she wiggled her eyebrows further annoying Tina.
The room was now fully quiet as they watched the two girls. Tina curled her fingers inwards trying not to slap the girl. “I’m not and you know that. I—”
Amanda cut her off with a wave of her hand, she took her attention else where seeming bored of the conversation. “Why are you in my room anyway?” she asked the friends who had been watching.
Payton looked up Avery’s arm still around her she locked eyes with Amanda. “You unfortunately happen to be our dear Avery’s roommate.” she spoke as her hand pointed at the girl beside her.
Amanda openly checked out Avery, from her facial features to her body. “Hey hot stuff.” Amanda spoke with a sexy tone biting down on her lower lip.
Avery snorted, “No, I’m good.”
She wasn’t please with the response, she hissed at everyone else in the room. “You already rubbing off on her.” which was not entirely true.
They all just rolled their eyes or snorted not wanting to argue with the girl. Amanda took her attention back on Avery, “Come with me and I’ll show you a good time, dump these losers.” she winked before licking her lower lips.
“Yeah I don’t like you.” Avery mumbled causing everyone to giggle.
“Wanna have a real woman.” this time Tina laughed louder than everyone else. Amanda clenched her jaw looking at the girl annoyed.
Payton sighed looking over at Amanda lazily. “Amanda save yourself the trouble of humiliation and leave my friend alone.” she stated.
“Who are you to talk Payton.” she asked crossing her arms in front of her chest.
“Her ex!” Ralph thoughtless shouted.
A smirk appeared on her face looking back and forth between the two girls. “Wait... You two? That’s hot.” she seductively bit her lip at them.
“Guys wanna hang out of this room?” Dixie suggested getting off the bed with Amber.
“Yes please!” every followed her action walking towards the door, they wanted to have a peaceful day.
Amanda stood by the door as they stood out her room. “If you want me you know where to find me. Even you Tina!” she winked at the three girls then closed the door behind her.
“That girl is just..” Tina clenched her jaw controlling herself from going back in their and slapping her.
“Angers you to a unnatural level.” Avery simply remarked.
“They f****d that’s why.” and again it was Ralph that spilled the tea.
Avery looked over at Tina with an open mouth but then closed it before commenting. “She’s annoying but you did hit a hot thing.”
“I have to agree with Avery there Tina.” Amber agreed which lead to her getting a fierce punch from her girlfriend. Everyone else too agreed but Dixie and Payton.
“You guys are unbelievable.” Payton murmured glaring at all of them, even the one who had her arm around hers.
“Sexually frustrated!” Keelin coughed earning hums in response from everyone.
“Oh let it go.” Payton snorted. They all laughed as they followed Payton out the dorm, for them the day just began and they had an additional friend.
