Cliff

Saturday morning rolled by for the group of friends just perfectly. Just like their all other days they didn’t fail to have fun in the morning. After their little incident in the cafeteria yesterday they flooded the whole scene but also cleaned it up. And immediately after that they went separate ways to rest, yes they didn’t at all get in trouble or scolded. Avery ended up crashing with Payton because her roommate was going the extra extra mile to get in her pants. Now the gang was walking through the woods to go to their little cliff, a little bit of a tour for Avery as it being her second day here. They arrived by the cliff and they all sat down down on the rocky area. Payton sat at the edge of the cliff as her legs were dangling off the rock, Avery took it upon herself and sat beside her. “So this is were you guys hang.” Avery spoke out as she studied her surroundings. Payton shook her head as her eyes were fixed on the water below her and the only thing that was running in her head was to throw Avery off the cliff. “One of the places yeah.” Payton answered her. Avery’s eyes trailed off from the trees to the beautiful clear waters of the river, a fresh cold breeze passed by them. “It’s beautiful.” Avery whispered as she was mesmerised by the everything. Ralph snorted, not that it was not beautiful but it was not always so quiet and peaceful. “You should see it with drunk teens and horny couples. Disgusting..” he faded a gagged. Avery looked over to him over her shoulder. “Oh so people party here?” she asked still looking at his direction. He shook his head agreeing, “Yeah..” he murmured. “And their is one tonight.” Jaan brought it up. Gaining all of Payton’s attention the girl snapped her head to his direction. “Wait they are actually throwing one on a Saturday night not Sunday?” Payton asked not at all believing. Avery furrowed her eyebrows, “Why would they throw one on a school night.” she asked puzzled. “No one knows.” Tina agreed with a firm head nod looking at her friends. “But this time they won’t because some people almost got us caught.” she mostly eyed Payton out of the rest. “So you can have the whole Sunday to nurse your hangovers.” Dahlia stated with a wide smile on her face. By just hearing them Avery got hyped up she took her attention back to Payton. “That’s pretty cool. Payton will you go.” she asked Payton but didn’t receive the answer from her but instead from “She has no choice but to. If we go she goes, you too Avery.” Amber almost shouted, but she was definitely commanding the two girls and everyone else. Payton shot her a deadly glare remembering her first party just the previous Sunday. “Yeah I don’t agree, last time you guys sort of ditched me to go make out or hook up with random strangers.” Payton hissed at them. In return she got a dramatic gasp from Avery. “They did that?” Payton obviously knew she was being sarcastic, that’s what she was good at after all. She rolled her eyes before nodding, “Imagine it was my first party here for that matter.” “But if we didn’t you would never have made out with Zelda.” Dixie shot back a mischievous smirk on her face. Payton sighed then looked down to the water. “Who is Zelda?” Avery asked seeming to have forgotten their conversation yesterday. “The red head!” Keelin answered the girl while giving her a wink. Another gasp came from Avery playfully shoving Payton she asked. “You made out with her already.” some what she believed it but also didn’t believe it. “In the woods at a teen party!” Dixie squealed, overreacting to the whole situation at hand. “So romantic!” her girlfriend backed her up with the exact same energy she used. Payton rolled her eyes at them all. “Tell her so, she might be so lucky this time.” Dixie spoke trying to persuade Avery into bringing Payton alone, even though she could clearly hear them. “Not going to be a next time because I won’t go.” Payton stated with a bit of bitterness in her tone, trying to end the conversation already. “Why is that?” one of her friends asked as the others waited to listen. Looking up to the sky Payton sighed, “Drank me ain’t so strong, I might do something stupid.” because she already did something stupid and she wasn’t ready for the next one. “Come on for me. My first Amidst part I don’t want to be alone without a familiar face.” Avery pleaded throwing in a little pout at the end. She took her eyes off the sky glaring at no other than Avery. “You have these guys.” she stated as she pointed at everyone else around them. Avery nodded knowing she would have them but after how her time went she didn’t think she had them. “But not you. They might ditch me.” she spoke raising her eyebrow at her. Hums in agreement came from the seven of them. “Don’t hope so we most likely will.” Dahlia conformed her assumption on the ditching. Avery gave back Payton an I told you so look. The girl sighed, “Fine I’ll go.” she spoke through her clenched teeth. Avery jumped in excitement hugging Payton great full of the action. “You won’t regret it.” she tried assuring Payton that the night would be wonderful, but Payton just hummed. “I hope. So Dahlia you’ve been too quiet lately.” she changed the subject. “I haven’t!” Dahlia protested a bit puzzled where she was taking this or where it came from. “I mean in our room.” she rephrased the question then double winked at Dahlia, instantly the girl caught on. Blush filled her cheeks shyly she looked to the ground. “Oh that. Uh we are taking it slow.” she whispered but it was just enough for everyone to catch on. “So you worked it out with Hayley?” Keelin asked intrigued with the new topic. Dahlia nervously played with her fingers her head still facing the ground. “Sort of..” she trailed off thinking about how everything went to a big pile of misunderstanding between them again. “What do you mean sort of!” Tina shouted on top of her lungs startling the girl. “I still haven’t officially asked her to be my girlfriend.” Dahlia answered. “Why don’t you just ask her?” one of her friends inquired, to them they didn’t see a big deal or a reason not to. They liked eachother and their friend sort of fell in love already, it was all just a matter of confirmation. “I’m scared she’ll say no.” Dahlia answered shyly. Which shocked the ones that knew her the most she was never so girl crazy. “Don’t be she won’t, ask her tonight.” Payton suggested, everyone else agreed with her even Avery who knew nothing about their relationship. Dahlia gave them a light smile the a nod agreeing. Avery faced back to Payton placing both her arms on the hard suffer. “What now?” she asked referring to what they would do next. That earlier idea popped up in her head. With a mischievous grin she brought her arm at Avery’s back. “This!” with that said she pushed Avery into the water. All her friends gasped crawling over to the edge of the little cliff. The girl reimagined from the water glaring at Payton pissed, all she did was laugh her ass off. “So you too.” Dahlia spoke before she shoved Payton into the water as well, for Avery. After that everyone just shoved the other off the cliff untill they were all in the water. Payton reimagined from the water completely wet from head to toe. In front of her was no other than Avery smirking, “So your fun thing is water huh. This is your second time getting me wet.” she spoke as she waved her arms left and right keeping afloat. Payton grinned from ear to ear deciding on making Avery a bit tense. “Second time getting you wet?” she spoke rather questionably winking at her friend. Avery furrowed her eyebrows wishing the water would just swallow her. “Oh shut it!” she spoke still blushing. “Make me, I—” water filled her mouth as Avery splashed the water in her face. The rest of the friends noticed their little water war, so Ralph shouted. “Water fight!” then everyone began splashing water to the other. The woods filled with the echoes of their laughter and the sound of the water being splashed for that afternoon.
