In the Love of God

It is the cruellest kind of love that is available in the market of emotions. Though there are people out there, who enjoy the pang of one sided love in a way where they love their helplessness. But, to me, they are more in love with the idea of being sad or sympathised. Else, how can a person ever be in love, with the idea or fact of being helplessly in love, with an individual whom they cannot have? It can make your existence feel insignificant in such a way, that for the rest of your life you will feel immense pain, in places which you didn"t even know existed in your body. And to endure all this for what? You wait for the love that should be returned but, that never happens. You live everyday of your life in misery, where as the one causing you the pain remains stoic to all your agony. God never created such a cruel love. Love was never meant to be so cruel. The purpose of love in life is to make us feel important and not insignificant, to make us feel wanted and not ignored, is to make us feel part of the positivity that life has to offer and not feel completely left out in the doom of darkness, that is going to last us for an eternity! No! Love is meant to be everything beautiful. But alas! It is the supreme power who has decided to dig a hole in our body and rip our heart out. I"m only confused about how he decides who should be punished in this way. Because, it is indeed one of the cruellest punishment one can ever get. People who have never fallen in love like these poor blokes, or people who have moved on and finally found true love in their lives, or people who have no better job to do apart from giving useless advice generally says *"God is making you strong!"* I am sure He is. But right at that moment you feel anything but strong. Unfortunately, you have to wait with bated breath for that moment in life when you"ll fall out of love. It might take a few weeks, months, years or eternity! Yes a lifetime even. That is the power of Unrequited Love. So yes! Unrequited Love is the cruellest kind of love possible. It is definitely self-inflicted, unplanned (because hey no one in their right mind would plan to end up in this mess!) and highly toxic!
