Chapter 14A Profile of sorts Christine Bland spent an uncomfortable evening at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Liverpool's City Centre. Uncomfortable in as much as her mind was racing, trying to put together a profile of the killer of two young women, who, she knew, had a third target in mind, and yet the evidence presented to her so far was minimal to say the very least. Her meal of lamb chops, served with new potatoes, garden peas and runner beans, failed to excite her taste buds, despite being one her favourites.
