In a room deep inside a forest in Dahwa a mage was tied to a steel, his clothes were soaked with blood and his body fusty of alcohol. A man in an hood walked in and everyone bowed in respect as guards followed him respectfully for fear of being killed.
"Just a simple Job, and you screwed up, how dare you go against my orders park mol!" He blurted out looking at him with cold eyes as anger was visibly written on his face.
"I...I.....i couldn't bring myself to do it, he has suffered a lot in the hands of the Emperor, he needs to live, his destiny is not yet fulfilled" Park mol said as he struggled to catch his breath which he did with much effort.
A smirk appeared on his face as he walked closer to him, caressing his hair softly. "You know you've committed a lot of offences in one day? How am I expected to let them slide park mol? I gave you everything including your powers and I can take it back. You have thirty days, thirty days to find Zack and kill him" He said and walked away as everyone followed suit.
****************
He woke up to the feeling of water dropping on his face, it was mid morning and obviously it was about raining. He walked weakly into the forest as his back ached from the whipping of the other day.
Tears streamed down his eyes when he tried to imagine what his mother would be doing right in the palace, surrounded by people who only wished for her death. He kept on walking deep in the forest as his stomach grumbled for food.
Everyone wished to become royalty but not everyone knows the prices to pay. He had to pay a price, it wasn't his fault that he was born without powers, he didn't choose his fate, but why does he have to suffer for it? Why does he have to be the unlucky one? Why does he have to be the neglected one? He had spent all his life trying to be good enough, trying to fit in, he wanted to have a say, he wanted to matter but the more he tried, the more hatred he attracted.
He stopped for a moment as he became weak to take more steps. He was sent out of the palace without clothes to keep himself warm or food to at least keep him for days; it was obvious that they all wanted him dead.
He staggered as he held different trees for support, and just then he heard clashing swords. It was like two person's were fighting. He hurried to where the sound was coming from and then he saw a girl fighting with a man who was dressed like a mage.
His mouth was open in shock, she was not just skilled but charming, every of her moves were elegant, feist and calculated. The mage she was fighting with barely had time to defend himself when she pushed her hands up in the air coursing fire to surround him depriving him of a way of escape.
"Next time if you want to mess with a woman, it shouldn't be one who can control the four factors of nature, you can die in the process" she said as she walked away coursing the fire that surrounded the mage to disappear.
He watched her walk away and just as he was about following her to know where she was going, he saw the mage she was fighting with merging the power of water and the power of fire together which is one of the strongest spell practice by capable mage and according to history, no one has ever survived the attack
He jumped down from his hiding, running as fast as his leg could carry him and ignoring the pain on his fit or that of his back as he reached out for her and hugged her from behind at the Same time the mage released the energy from his hands
Everything happened so fast, as before anyone could react, the energy hit Zack making him cough out blood before he passed out.

In Sangim, the emperor sat elegantly on the chair as he sipped his cup of coffee and looked at the man sitting before him coldly "Master, what brings you to the palace today, it's been over twenty years since you last visited, why are you here now?" He said as he took another sip from his coffee.
"I can see you've not changed a bit Chung-hee, you're still the questioning and annoying pupil i saw twenty years ago" He smiled as he sipped from his coffee and then suddenly the smile on his face was replaced with coldness "why did you disobey me Chung-hee? Why did you decide to disregard your master?" He said looking at him deep in the eyes.
"Master, what are you talking about? Why will I ever try to disobey you? A pupil is supposed to be ready to grant the master's wish at all times and not go against it one bit, I would never do that master" He said with a broad smile on his face.
"Why did you send Zack away? Why did you send your own son out of this continent to the wild where Imoogi resides? How heartless can you be Chung-lee?"
"I did what i had to, we both know that any royalty viod of powers is a vessel for imoogi and a threat to not just sangim but the whole of Gogae. You taught me master, you taught me to make feist decisions even if it costs my life. You told me that when it comes to the affairs of the people, I don't matter. So why then are you scolding me now? Like I committed a big crime" the emperor said looking at his master with mixed emotions on his face.
"Chung-hee you're getting this all wrong, when it comes to the heir nothing matters. Zack is your first son and the rightful heir to the throne, are you willing to let him die and render Sangim without a heir? Believe me, I respect your bravery but in this case you have to view things from different aspect" He said, averting his gaze from the emperor as he gulped the whole of his coffee.
"And do you think I care? Master, as far as I'm concerned Zack is not my son and he would never be. He is just a child born out of wedlock and he would die that way" the emperor said angrily.
"A wedlock that you caused! All this won't have happened if you stayed faithful to your wife, if you kept your d**k to yourself and now problems are arising from your mistake you feel you can get rid of it at a goal. Listen, Zack might be born by a maid but he is your son the earlier you accept that fact, the better for you" he said and walked away leaving the emperor in a daze.
A part of him was sad, sad that he let his own son go that easily without a second thought but when he thought about Imoogi, he convinced himself that it was the right thing to do and now that his master thought otherwise, he is just too confused to figure out a plan. He is just like a man standing in between the devil and the deep blue sea. Any choice he makes has consequences.
