Next Morning
Princess Lila’s Suite
Lila struck a pose, her designer outfit shimmering in the light as she turned proudly in front of the camera. Her friends' eyes widened in awe on the video call, their mouths agape.
"Ten thousand dollars!" Lila announced, her voice dripping with excitement. "Can you believe it?"
Avila and Niamh's gasps were audible, their voices overlapping in disbelief.
"Whoa! That's insane! I want to be you!" Avila exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with envy.
"You're living the dream, Lila!" Niamh added, her tone laced with admiration.
Lila's grin grew wider, her confidence soaring.
"I know, right? I feel like a million bucks!" She twirled again, the camera capturing the outfit's intricate details.
"This designer piece is truly a masterpiece, a testament to the designer's skill and craftsmanship. It's not easy being a princess, always having to look perfect and poised," Lila said, her eyes gleaming with pride as she admired her reflection in the mirror.
Her long, golden hair cascaded down her back like a river of sunshine, and her delicate fingers touched the intricate design on her dress every second, as if to reassure herself of its beauty.
Avila's voice broke through her reverie, her tone laced with a hint of impatience.
"Come to school fast, girl, we are waiting already!" she called out, her words echoing through the hallway.
Lila's smile never wavered, her response dripping with sweetness.
"Of course, I'll be there soon. I just need to make sure I look my best for the royal treatment," she said, her eyes sparkling with amusement.
She took one last glance at her reflection, her fingers smoothing out an imaginary wrinkle on her dress.
She started hearing a loud voice from afar.
"Get out of my way if you don’t want to get your head out of your body!" The voice yelled and almost instantly, the door opened hard and hit the wall before closing again.
An angry-looking Nova stormed in, her long hair bouncing as she walked while her boots made a loud noise as she walked in sexily like a model she was.
Lila and Nova are princesses, the two were born same day, same time.
The first Luna, Luna Leah had Nova before she died, she died the moment Nova was born, the second Luna, who was the mistress gave birth to Lila, and she's the only child she had before the king died.
The first queen had Nola, the eldest child of the family, then Alpha who was also the only male in the family before having Nova.
Nova and Lila are both twenty years of age, they attend the same university, the most expensive university in the Dark Fang pack, Dark Fang University.
You might expect them to be friends but it's the opposite, they are enemies, competitors, they are just everything that rhythm with the word ENEMIES. Even in the modeling world, Nova and Lily are strong rivals but Nova is more popular...you might be wondering, who's more pretty??
No answer to that, they are both pretty and cute, for real! One thing they have in common?? Ego and Pride, arrogance and haughtiness.
Lila stood up, her eyes locking onto Nova's furious gaze. The tension was palpable as Nova's voice thundered through the room.
"What gave you the audacity to tell the guards not to allow me to take out the Kia Bango? What!" she shouted, her words dripping with indignation.
Lila's response was laced with nonchalance, her smile taunting.
"Oh, that? Sorry, but I'll be taking that car to school today. You can have another one." She shrugged, her eyes never leaving Nova's face.
Nova's anger boiled over, her eyes flashing with rage.
"Are you insane? Have you forgotten who owns that car?" she spat, her voice venomous.
Lila's smile grew wider, her eyes glinting with amusement.
"Our brother, of course," she said, her tone dripping with sweetness.
Nova's eyes narrowed, her voice low and menacing.
"Our? Oh, she finally went crazy," she muttered, taking a step closer to Lila.
"Hey girl, it's high time you understood the meaning of blood sister and step sister. He is my brother, not your brother!! Do you understand that?!!!!" she shouted, her words echoing off the walls.
Lila's expression remained unyielding, her voice firm.
"I don't care what you say, okay? I'm taking that car out, and there's nothing you can do about it." She turned to leave, her bag slung over her shoulder.
Nova's clap was sarcastic, her smile dripping with malice.
"Wow, we will see to that." She strode out of the room, Lila following closely behind, the maids trailing them with a mixture of fear and fascination.
They knew that trouble had begun, and they couldn't help but be drawn into the vortex of the rivalry between the two princesses.
As they approached the car, the guards bowed in unison, their eyes fixed on the two princesses. Nova's hand extended, her palm open, her voice firm.
"Give me the key right now." But before the guard could respond, Lila's voice cut through the air, her warning fierce.
"If you give her that key, you are fired!!" The guard's eyes darted between the two princesses, his face pale. Nova's shout echoed through the courtyard.
"Give me the key!!" But Lila's glare was unyielding, her eyes flashing with anger.
"I will kill you," she hissed, her voice low and menacing.
Nova's chuckle was mocking, her eyes scanning the area before landing on a nail on the ground. She picked it up, her movement swift, and before anyone could react, she strode towards the car, the nail glinting in the sunlight.
The sound of bursting tires filled the air, and everyone gasping in shock as Nova methodically destroyed all four tires.
Lila's scream was ear-piercing, her hands grasping for Nova's hair, pulling her back. The guard rushed forward, catching Nova before she fell, but Lila's anger was unrelenting.
"Get off me!!" she slapped the guard, her eyes blazing with fury.
Nova's smirk was triumphant, her hair arranged, her eyes gleaming with satisfaction.
"Now we are even," she said, her voice dripping with malice. She turned to the guards, her shade covering her eyes.
"I'm taking the Bentley out." The guards bowed, their faces pale, as they scrambled to obey.
The car was driven back, the door opened, and Nova slid in, her smirk aimed at Lila.
"See you in school," she said, the car driving off with a screech.
Lila's fists were clenched, her eyes blazing with anger.
"What are you waiting for?!! Get me the Lamborghini!!!" she screamed, her voice echoing off the walls. The guards scattered, their faces fearful, as they rushed to obey the enraged princess.

Rebecca lounged in her plush chair, her maid expertly brushing her luscious locks. The soft strokes and gentle tug on her hair were soothing, but her maid's whispered words snapped her out of her relaxation.
"My lady...I think the new maid is the one who is pregnant for the Alpha," her maid said, her voice barely audible.
Rebecca's eyes narrowed, her body tensing as she sat up straight.
"Now I see why my insistence didn't work with her," she scoffed, her voice laced with disdain.
Her second maid, who was standing nearby, spoke up, "What do you want us to do to her, my lady?"
Rebecca's smile was calculating, her eyes glinting with a hint of malice.
"Leave her for now...she's nothing special," she said, her voice dripping with condescension.
She recalled Nathan's words, his dismissal of the new maid still rankling her. She remembered the way he had looked at her, the way he had spoken about her, and her anger simmered just below the surface.
But for now, she would bide her time, her eyes fixed on the maid with a calculating gaze. She would wait for the perfect moment to strike, to show the new maid her true place in the palace. And when that moment came, Rebecca would be ready, her wrath unleashed like a storm.

Selene was alone in the kitchen, her body aching as she scrubbed the floors with a worn-out sponge. Her eyes felt heavy, her lids struggling to stay open. She had been working tirelessly since dawn, with no respite or reprieve. Her stomach growled, protesting the emptiness that had become all too familiar.
Just as she was finishing up, a maid burst into the kitchen, her voice sharp and commanding.
"Hey you...go take this coffee to the mistress," she said, thrusting a tray into Selene's hands.
Selene sighed, her shoulders sagging under the weight of the task. She took the tray, her eyes fixed on the steaming cup of coffee that seemed to mock her. She longed for a sip, a moment of comfort to ease her fatigue. But she knew that was a luxury she couldn't afford.
With a heavy heart, she trudged out of the kitchen, the tray balanced precariously in her hands. Her legs felt like lead, her feet dragging with each step. She couldn't help but wonder what the mistress wanted now, what new demand she would make, what new cruelty she would inflict.
As she approached the mistress's chambers, her anxiety grew. She knocked softly, her voice barely audible.
"Enter," the mistress's voice called out, sharp and commanding, slicing through the air like a knife. Selene pushed open the door, her eyes cast downward, her spirit crushed by the weight of her circumstances. She knew that she was in for another round of humiliation and pain.
Rebecca's smirk grew wider as she saw Selene standing in the doorway, her eyes flashing with contempt.
"How dare she get pregnant for the Alpha," she thought to herself, her mind seething with jealousy and anger.
"Drop it on the table and leave," Rebecca spat, her voice venomous.
Selene moved to obey, but Rebecca's leg shot out, tripping her and sending the hot coffee flying.
The scalding liquid poured down Selene's body, causing her to cry out in agony.
Rebecca's scream was loud and shrill, her hand grasping at her skin where a few drops of coffee had landed.
"My hand, my hand!" she wailed, her eyes flashing with fake tears.
Selene, still writhing in pain, stumbled to her feet and rushed to Rebecca's side.
"My lady, I'm sorry," she winced, her eyes pleading for mercy.
But Rebecca's response was swift and cruel. She slapped Selene across the face, her hand leaving a red mark on her cheek.
"You clumsy fool!" she spat.
The guards rushed in at the commotion, their faces stern.
"Take her to the dungeon right now," Rebecca shouted, her voice echoing off the walls. The guards bowed and dragged Selene away, her cries of pain and despair echoing through the halls.
