8 Zack At first glance, the room we’re in now isn’t much different from the one we were in on the ship. We’re in another metal box, no windows, no way to tell time, but at least we’re no longer swaying all the time, and it’s quieter. No longer the sounds of a ship, like the motor, faraway footsteps or the waves crashing against the sides. This time, it’s really quiet. The cells are so similar that I’m wondering if they bought them in bulk and just placed them all over where they might need them. It almost feels like that. I guess that, if they’re great for storing kidn*pped shifters in, why not get it over with and just keep using the same one? Why change something that works?
