Nash was a typical city guy. He spent his time spending money, throwing parties in his backyard, bragging about himself and playing with girl’s hearts. Nash had charming looks and girls were all talking about him, but he was just a popular jerk. But eventually Nash’s parents eventually got irritated by his childishness. They needed him to act more mature, so they came up with a punishment to teach him a lesson. They decided to send him to live in the country with his grandparents for the whole summer. Nash tried to argue, but when he understood he'll just make this punishment worse he decided to stop talking and just agree. Nash packed his bag even though he wasn't happy at all. He knew the village would be nothing like the city he was used to. But he couldn't do anything.

Few weeks later. He sneaked out from his grandparents house again. He did it to see the neighbours guy walking on a path along the lavander field. He didn't even know the guys name. But he intrigued Nash. At first he thought it was just another guy who'd he easily get along with because of his popularity and wealth. But Nash didn't consider one thing, he wasn't popular here.

chapter 1
Nash was a typical city guy with rich parents. He spent his time spending money, throwing parties in his backyard, bragging about himself and playing with girl’s hearts. Nash was charming and girls were all talking about him, but he was just a popular jerk. Nash’s parents eventually got irritated by his loudness and childishnesd. They just needed him to act more mature, so they came up with a punishment to teach him a lesson. They decided to send him to live in the country with his grandparents for the whole summer Nash tried to argue, but when he understood he'll just make this punishment worse he desided to stop talking and just agree. Nash packed his bag even though he wasn't happy at all. He knew the village would be nothing like the city he was used to. But he couldn't do anything. *** Few weeks passed. Now Nash sat there on top of a haystack. He sneaked out from his grandparents house again for a bit. He did it to see the neighbours guy walking on a path along the lavander field. He didn't even know the guys name. But he intrigued Nash. At first he thought it was just another guy who'd he easily get along with because of his popularity and wealth. But Nash didn't comcider one thing. He wasn't popular here. So the guy didn't sugarcoat the truth and they didn't hit it off. Actually the opposite, the guy hated Nash and to Nash it was a breathe of fresh air. Usually everyone lied to please him, but not this guy and something was so intriguing in the way he acted. Dark brown hair and eyes, straw hat with lavender sprig in it, every time the guy wore different shirts, old pants and a pair of boots that he seemed to wear for quite a while. The guy was living with his grandparents that were good friends with Nashe's grandparents. So they had to see eachother when their grandparents decided to go somewhere together or to come to eachother for tea even if the guy didn't want it. Slowly unanswered greetings every morning and following the guy around every day turned into small conversations and day by day they started to get along. After a month they could already be called a good friends. Nash found out a lot about the guy. Turned out his name was Alex. He lived with his grandparents as long as he can remember himself, goes to local school and is a pretty cheerful person. He just didn't like the way Nash acted when he just arrived here, but slowly after a month his opinion changed and they actually became friends. Eventually, Nash understood that his feelings became beyond mere intrigue with Alex's personality. He fell for the guy. Nash had always been taught that two guys couldn't love each other. However, he couldn't deny his own feelings. After some time, Nash confessed to Alex. It was the happiest day of both their lives, as their feelings were not one-sided. Turned out Alex developed a crush on Nash and was planning to confess that day too. After that day, they started dating. These were the happiest days of their lives. They did everything together, and Nash was truly happy—happier than he had ever been with his ex-girlfriends or with money and other fancy things. But all good things come to an end, don't they? The summer break came to an end, and Nash had to return to the city. It was a heartbreaking goodbye. Nash promised to come back the following summer, but he didn't. After returning to his usual city, Nash felt that it was cold and distant. He realized how boring his life actually was. He had never understood this before because he had never experienced love and care. But now, after feeling what it's like to love and be loved, he no longer liked his old life. Nash asked his parents if he could go back to the village. However, his parents didn't like the idea and refused. They didn't appreciate how much some country boy had affected their son. They just wanted to teach him a lesson, scare by the village to make him listen to them and act more mature. They never expected Nash to actually like it there.
