He nods smiling as I suddenly blush. His deep voice searing the silent night. “Yeah, I was supposed to but she never showed up. She’s still not here, and I have no way of getting. Anyway, weren’t you off to a date earlier?”         I nod and laugh slightly as I look up at him reaching over the side of my car opening the door. “I’ll tell you as I drive you home, if you don’t mind driving with a complete stranger.” He opens the door fully and gets in, shaking his head vigorously.        “I actually don’t mind. Anyway home is a good way home.” I laugh as he looks back at me and buckles his seat in. “Now the story about the date you were supposed to go on?”         I start driving home and speak softly and sigh. “The date. Well, do I really have to talk about this?”         I look towards him as he nods. “You got me interested so now you have to. Come on, I won’t laugh, I promise.”         “Somehow I have a hard time believing that.” I sigh and keeps driving as I see the sign saying that we’re leaving Burrough. “Alright, I’ll trust you but if you laugh I’m going to force you to tell me one of your secrets. Got it?” He nods and I begin speaking. “It’s actually not that long of a story but he was trying to force me to drink alcohol. I don’t know what he would’ve done if I got drunk, but none-the-less I rather live happily and not get hurt from men.” He bit his lower lip as I looked over at him from the corner of my eye, noticing all his features for the first time ever. His strawberry blonde hair slicked back showing his face fully and his blue eyes bright with joy. His lips straight with one of the corners uplifted with a show of slight delight. I glance down his body, noticing that he’s slim and muscular. I blush and glance back at the road ahead of me.         He then speaks up breaking the head of silence gaining my attention. “So since your date was ruined early, does that mean you didn’t get to eat properly?” I look over at him as I nod, confused as to what he was inquiring. “Why don’t we go get something to eat then? Of course, if that’s alright with you.” I smile and nod once more. “Great! Once we’re back towards our neighborhood, let’s go to the traditional festival in town.”         I smile as I keep driving then I turn onto some rock music. He turns towards me with his brow slightly up. “What do you know about Crown the Empire?” I laugh and look at him.         “Everything.” He nods then turns towards the road as I blush finally noticing his features. His slim body showing the ripples in his chest that prove to be powerful and muscular, his blue eyes that show sweetness, and his strawberry blonde hair slicked back. I turn my face back towards the road as I blush and gulp. He turns towards me as I see a crowd of people facing my family restaurant and smile as I pass it seeing my sister with her boyfriend.  He sees my smile and stares. I notice him staring at me and frowns then turns my face slightly towards him as I still watch the road making sure not to hit anyone. “What?”         “I’ve never seen you smile like that. Who were they?”         “They happen to be my sister and her boyfriend. That restaurant that they were about to go in were, well actually, is my mom’s restaurant. My sister wants to gain that restaurant from my mom once she retires. I don’t mind, I’m happy my sister has something she likes.”         He stares and nods. “So that’s it, huh? You seem to really care about your sibling.”         I nod and looks at the road as I pull into a parking garage. “I do. She’s all I have left since my big brother and father died.” He looked confused towards me. “Our mom isn’t my actual mom, we only have each other now. My dad married her for their careers, no love involved. They never even had kids together. They hardly even spoke except when they were in public and my father said that was only for publicity. I hate her. She took my father away from me.” I said angrily as my eyes stung with tears in them. I lock my jaw and pull into a parking spot and turns off the car.         “She kicked him and my brother out of their own house while it was storming outside. They died later that night as they tried to find a place to settle in for the night. Their car…” I looked down at my hands clutching the steering wheel as tears flooded from my eyes. “Their car was on fire upside down. Their bodies were burnt to the crisp. I never even had a chance to show them how much I love them. I was just a little girl to lose my father and brother that way. I never even met my biological mother. It’s not fair!” I look over at him as he nods and reaches towards me and hugs me tightly.         “I’m sorry.” He says softly as he holds me gently to his chest. “I didn’t know a woman with such a big, bright smile can have that much of a terrifying past.” I blush as I slowly stop crying and reach out towards my dash board and open it, grabbing some tissues then dries my eyes. He smiles then gets out of the car after unbuckling and walks towards my side of the car opening my car door reaching his hand towards me. I unbuckle my seatbelt and grabs his hand getting out of the car, grabbing my keys from the car as he closes the door. I smile and let go of his hand as I lock the car door and walk with him towards the exit.         I stop in my tracks he walks a few more feet then turns back towards me. “What’s wrong?”         “You never even told me your name. I just noticed that. You never told me anything about you.” I look at him as he laughs and reaches his hand back towards me.         “I’ll tell you anything you want to know over dinner if, of course, you can wait that long.” I stare at his hand and grab it as we walk together towards the restaurant my step-mother owns. We walk in, not letting go of each other’s hands as I sat in the other side of the booth that my sister and her boyfriend was sitting in. Samantha looks at the man I’m with as he sits beside me and she smiles.         “He’s not the man I set you up with.” She bit her bottom lip as I laughed.         “I know. He lives down the road from us. It turns out he was forgotten about and had no way home, so I gave him a way home. The man I was with was forcing me to drink. Or at least trying and I left without eating so we came here to get some food.” She looked at her boyfriend, Adrien, and nods.         “Alright but may I know his name?”         Samantha stared at me and I looked up at the man beside me as I looked confused and pleaded to him with my eyes to help. He laughs and reaches his hand out towards my sister, “My name is Christian, but you can just call me Chris.” He gives Samantha a blooming smirk as she blushes and Adrien grabs his hand shaking it instead.         “I’m Adrien, Samantha’s boyfriend.” He speaks sternly towards Chris causing Samantha and I to laugh loudly.         I blush turning my gaze towards Chris finally knowing his name and whisper his name under my breath. “Christian….”
