Sam’s POV
The soft beep of a machine woke me up. I didn’t want to open my eyes yet. I wasn’t ready to face whatever was waiting for me in the room. I knew Alex was here. I could smell him and I could feel the sparks running up my arm from where he was holding my hand. I am not sure why he is here and why he is holding my hand. Guilt probably, but he can take that guilt and shove it up his ass.
The one thing I didn’t feel was pain. None at all. My guess is that Sophia healed me. I would have to thank her when I saw her again. I am sure it took some energy out of her to do that. I heard the door open and the curtain open before someone started talking.
