Liam was still trying to process the whirlwind of his first day as Lora's assistant. When Irene approached him with a worried expression.
" What is it? You look perturbed." He enquired.
" Andy I need your help."
" With what?"
" Madam's driver has an emergency, his daughter is ill. And I also have a baby to attend to. Would you mind driving her home?"
" Of course. I don't mind." He said, his voice softer than he intended. Irene beamed. " Thank you. You have to wait for her, at her private part of the garage."
" Okay."
" Good luck Andy!"
Andy took a deep breath and made his way to the garage.
Unfortunately Lora was there with her arms cross over her chest and eyes fixed on him with a hit of surprise.
" Let's go," she said curtly not even bothering to ask him anything. " Hurry, to HSD school."
" Okay ma'am."
He started the car and he drove off in full speed.
" Hey! I said ' hurry' didn't mean you should kill me before my time." She uttered with her eyes closed.
" I apologise for that."
Lora raised her eye brow but said nothing. From the mirrow Andy watched her as she rested her head and shut her eyes. It was obvious she had a stressful day. He knew she was tired hence he felt the need to drive her home quickly only for her to rest.
When they approached the school he parked. Just then the door opened from outside.
" Liah..." Andy saw a glimmer of warmth in her eyes.
" Hi, mom." She greeted.
" How is my pumpkin?" She squeezed her cheeks.
" Seriously Mom."
Liah turned to the driver.
" What is he doing here? Where is uncle Paul?"
" He has something important to take care of. He will be back soon, till then he is going to replace him." Lora explained. The mother and daughter had a hearty conversation which made Andy smile occasionally.
" What is granny's car doing in our house." Liah drew Lora's attention to the black Suv pack there. She stepped out immediately and Liah followed her mother leaving Andy who wondered what was going on.
He gathered their bags and walked in to the house for the second time.
