Suzy and Faro then headed to the North section of the Country after they finished getting the approval for their request to leave for a year.

You are a very strange lady the more I’m with you, in the morning I mean, not like I have any weird intention.

Faro told Suzy as he is very amazed by her connections with other Thespians and the Zionists.

Do you think I have a choice? I’m now one of the most famous warriors on the Continent that wherever I go, everyone knows me, whether if I’m the normal Suzy that lives in the Zion Village or the warrior who they know is strong, above others, but it gets to the point that I need associates that knows me out of those things since it gets exhausting, I can’t keep being everyone’s Heroine, and I don’t even want to really.

Suzy explained, responding to what Faro said, annoyed by the people that see her as more than a mortal warrior because she’s not.

 That seems like a rough time for you, you just want normal friends.

Faro said, empathizing with her situation.

It’s not like I need them, I already have a lot in the Zion Village, I just need acquaintances that can understand my situation and just know me out of that Heroine zone.

Suzy corrected Faro.

What about me then?

Faro asked her.

That’s why he’s saying and asking this, he’s jealous, I thought he knew.

Suzy thought after realizing why Faro is like that.

I see, don’t be too jealous, Faro, right now, I want you to be the closest to me, we have a very close relationship so that’s not something you should be jealous about, you should think that they should be jealous of you since I wanted us to be this close.

Suzy answered his question as she ensures him.

She read me like a fine book, goddamn it.

Faro thought, surprised that she understood him.

Don’t worry about it too much, Faro, you can’t be too bothered about something that isn’t really a bothering issue, it doesn’t bother me because I see you as the closest to me, closer than anyone I know.

Suzy told him.

It’s not like I need the reassurance, Suzy, you know that many people in the Country wanted to be close to you, I just so happen to be one of the few to have the courage to talk to you.

Faro said, trying to deny it, but failed.

I’m sure you need it.

Suzy told him as she teases him.

The two of them first went through Faro’s house to get some things he will need for their travel, Suzy doesn’t have to bother because she has already prepared them a day before they left the Zion Village, and she has a storage ring from Exos in the UNE.

They then passed through the North section and left the Theist Country afterwards, they went to the Auden Village to meet Faro’s father.

After a few hours of traveling, they didn’t take much time because the Auden Village is close to the Theist Country.

This is it, the awkwardness after the Gallant Battle, I’m sure they hold a grudge that they didn’t win in the Gallant Battle, but I’ll try not to show that I’m remotely happy about that victory, I am, but I don’t want to disrespect them.

Suzy thought as she enters the Auden Village with Faro.

So where does your father live?

She asked Faro afterward.

He’s far at the back of the Village; it’s convenient since we can leave immediately once we’re done.

Faro answered her question.

They then headed to where Faro’s dad stays to ask him about the Guerre’s Awakening.

Father, are you here?

Faro asked after entering the house he’s in.

Why did my son suddenly visit me? I thought you’re resting after the Gallant Battle, you Thespians kicked the Auden’s butts in their attacking; I guess having a Heroine to help you is a huge advantage for you, isn’t it?

Faro’s father asked them after he responded through Faro’s call and showed himself.

Is he Olaf? He’s Faro’s father?

Suzy thought, asking herself as she was surprised to know Faro’s father.

Faro’s father, Olaf, is one of the most fearsome warriors; he’s known to be the strongest warrior to have ever stood in the Auden Village, he is the deadliest when he holds his Double Axes, no one can stop him, in the battlefield, the only one that came close is the Theist Head when they combatted once.

His only reasoning as to why he retired as a warrior of the Auden Village and it is protector is because he notices that the Village is always relying on his help, to the point that he was fed up with it, he couldn’t stand the people that are always calling for his help, especially those in the hierarchy that is forcing him to work in the battlefield.

Olaf decided that it is for the best that he retired as an Elder of the Village, that way, he can still be one of its defenders without being forced by the hierarchy of the Village, even though those hierarchies are now dead due to aging, he still refuses to return to being a Warrior.

I didn’t expect your father to be one of the greatest warriors in history, is this why you disappeared after the Gallant Battle centuries ago?

Suzy asked him.

I’m amazed the great Suzy knows me, yes, I have ended my journey as a warrior centuries ago, like you said, why did my son return here with the great Suzy?

Olaf replied to her question, also asking her as to why she is with Faro.

I don’t deserve to be called by a great Olaf as great Suzy, you are more experienced than me, please call me Suzy if you must.

Suzy said.

Great Suzy, I call you that not because you are worthy of the name, you two aren’t, and neither everyone in this Continent, but because I know that I’m older than you, I will barely have any chance to meet talented warriors, calling you great Suzy is for my sake, to catch up with my peers.

Olaf responded, telling her as to why he calls him that.

He acknowledges that we are below him but he still wants to call me like that because he doesn’t want to miss a talented warrior as I am, I don’t know if I’m talented, I’m just skilled at what I do.

Suzy thought.

Then is it alright for someone like me to call you Great Olaf? I would be honored, though meeting you here now is an honor itself already.

She asked him afterward.

Of course, I would not pass on that, so! Why does the great Suzy is with my son in my house, returned here?

Olaf answered Suzy’s question, he then asked the two of them afterward.

First of all, father, it’s great to see you again, I hope you’re not mad at me making the Auden Village fail at their attacking in the Theist Country; I was just merely doing my job as a Commander.

Faro said, greeting him while apologizing to him for failing the Auden Village.

I know that too well, son, so, what’s the purpose of your visit?

Olaf asked them.

They have a very formal relationship with each other, is this something they’ve developed ever since? I’m now more curious as to who Faro’s mother is after meeting his father, who is worthy enough for the Great Olaf to have children with?

Suzy thought, asking herself.

I asked Faro to take me here because he told me you’re also a Guerre that has been successful with your Awakening; I want to ask about this Awakening that you have done.

She then told Olaf their purpose of visit.

You want to know about my Awakening, so you are a Guerre who just turned 25, am I right?

Olaf asked after finding out that she’s a Guerre.

Here I thought she’s already an Awakened Guerre, she looks old enough to be one, but it turns out her race makes her look like that, she’s already stronger than me even though she’s still not Awakened, I can’t imagine how strong she will be when she is Awakened, it is a scary thought I’d rather ignore.

Olaf thought as he gets frightened of Suzy’s potential as an Awakened Guerre.

Olaf began walking heading somewhere in the house, Suzy and Faro followed him to where he is going.

Being an Awakened Guerre is not a fairy tale you think it is, it is one of the few reasons why I wanted to retire as a Warrior of this Village, let’s go get some fresh air on the veranda.

Olaf told them as he heads to the veranda outside.

They then exited the house and ended their talk there.

I will go to the kitchen to get some tea, father.

Faro offered and then headed to the kitchen.

You do that; I will talk to your girlfriend here.

Olaf said, accepting his offer.

She’s not my girlfriend!

He’s not my boyfriend!

Both Suzy and Faro shouted at the same time after Olaf said that.

Woah, at least make it subtle, I’m not heartless.

Olaf responded to their shouting.

Faro then went and makes tea for them.

I’m sorry about that, Great Olaf.

Suzy apologized.

Don’t worry, besides, there’s no way Faro will bring home someone like you to ask me about my Awakening, which just means he sees you more than just a close friend, you two hasn’t yet to establish that relationship, quick tip, that’s the same thing that happened with me and his mother.

Olaf told Suzy, whispering to her about him and his wife’s past.

I’ll put that into my tips jar then.

Suzy said.

So, about my Awakening, there’s nothing grand about it, I requested one of the Tribes that once trained me, and of course, many things happened in between, there’s only one thing you need to know about this when you go to the Tribe you wish to reinforce your body for Awakening, which I assume you already have one, you have to make sure, no one outside the Seven Villages and the Theist Country about your Awakening and you turning 25 because once you flaunt about it, you will be vulnerable from not just threats, but also those that will do everything to stop your rise to power.

Olaf explained to her about the time he Awakened.

How did it happen and who stopped the Great Olaf’s Awakening? I’m sure that some will dare, but I know that almost no one dares to fight you in your prime.

Suzy asked him.

It is the rotting of my body, I assume you have already gone through that process, right?

Olaf answered her question, asking her back.

Yes, and it was a pain for me.

Suzy answered his question.

Right, but luckily for you, you started your Guerre journey earlier than me, I was so laidback about it that I waited 10 months before I even start the reinforcement of my body, many stopped me before I get there and I struggled very hard, and when I actually got my Awakening, I have increased my power, but I couldn’t reach my absolute peak, it is only a minimal rise of power, though I did beat those warriors that dared to stop it, but at that point, only a few remained, right now, you have the power to Awaken earlier, and once you did, you will probably be the strongest Guerre to have Awakened in this generation.

Olaf explained again as he warned her and advised her about the late Awakening.

I will be the strongest Awakened Guerre…

Suzy said.

I know you’re level headed about things like this so I know you won’t get too cocky so I won’t be worried, just be sure that when you are now Awakened, make sure you trust everyone that knows about your Awakening, and they have to be worthy to know that you are now an Awakened Guerre.

Olaf told her, giving her another tip for the future.

I’ll be sure to put that into my tips jar, Great Olaf.

Suzy said, taking his advice.

You better put that to good use because I worked hard on that, I barely meet another Guerre, so I know that meeting you is worth my time and effort to prepare this advice I gave you.

Olaf told her, reprimanding her.

I will.

Suzy agreed.

Faro then arrived with the tea and they drank them before Suzy and Faro left Olaf’s house.

Faro! Take care of her, her Awakening is going to be your top priority, but I don’t need to tell you about it since you have no other reason for being with her in her Awakening.

Olaf told Faro.

I know I will, father, you take care too since we will have to leave immediately, say hello to mother for me, I know she’s busy.

Faro said, Suzy also stood up after Faro said that.

 I understand, I guess I’ll be seeing you in a year or earlier, depending on if this Awakening of hers will be earlier.

Olaf said.

Thank you for helping me with this, Great Olaf, I want to converse with you more, but maybe another time.

Suzy said, thanking him.

Perhaps one year time, now, get out of here, you two! Your tribe is waiting for you.

Olaf told them, pushing them out of his house afterward.

And so, Suzy and Faro left the Auden Village after they finished their talk with the Great Olaf.
