Hansel POV

I feel happy with how and where my relationship with Joy is heading.I know she can be crazy and wild when she wants to be,but I won't change that for anything else cause I'm just not a confrontational person but if that doesn't work,I can be sure my girlfriend would flip the switch on you.As surprising as it seem,I actually do like her acting the way she does cause she lights up a room with her humour plus she is fiercely loyal especially to her friends.I've know for a while now that I want to spend my life with her but I've been thinking about how to go about telling her this,it doesn't help that my mom keeps subtly pushing Joy for a grandchild.I know my girl is not ready for that now and won't ever be ready when she is not married.she was raised by a single mom who wasn't always around cause she has to pay the bills so my girl doesn't want to raise a child in that environment,my mom on the other hand doesn't get this.I also know Joy would want Natalie to be her maid of honor and I would like Nathan as my best man but those two are not really cool which makes planning our wedding a bit harder right now. Additionally I want my guys in on this but they've got issues of their own right now,Andre is battling with Nora stalking him,Judah is trying to clear up that scandal involving his sister and Nathan is trying to get back with Natalie.Its all so frustrating,I thought just as I hear Joy say "No,no,no,I can't do this anymore babe,I can't stand it,can you make your mom understand that we are not having a baby now, neither are we trying for one" joy said while I smiled "Am I a joke to you now"she asked being her sassy self "No,I get you,I was just wondering what our baby would look like,I want a girl,I think I'll name her Valerie" I said "what is wrong with you,are you having baby fever please I really don't want to do this" she said with her voice breaking "I know babe trust me,I know we are not ready yet"I replied before picking my call "What's up dude any progress with the case"I asked Judah "Yea,I need your help"he replied "No problem,what do you need me to do"i asked "I need you guys with me when I meet up with Samantha"he replied "who is Samantha"I asked "The girl in that video"he replied and then went on explaining the issue he is having with his girl cause of that chick, in addition to the fact that Cathy's ex is back again.We set up our meeting after a conference call with Andre.The next morning as I walked to the kitchen I heard Joy making plans to go to the club.

"We need a plan so this is what we would do,we are all going to the club tomorrow, you have to let him see what he has but don't let him taste it, that would bring his wandering eyes back,let the cold war continue but before you go to the club give him a sip" Joy said while I watched her skeptical, when she was done I said "You know he loves her right" I said "Yea,he just has to be reminded of how valuable she is and what he stands to lose if his eyes wanders" she said "Babe Judah is not like that with Cathy, I know you always said he changes girls a lot while in high school but he has changed he isn't like that anymore" I said "We'll see about that"she replied before calling Andre to inform him about the plan to go clubbing while I informed Judah.That evening we met at a restaurant to meet up with Samantha.We allowed Judah talk to her first so it doesn't seem like we were ganging up on her.We were on a table close to theirs and could hear everything they were saying "Hello sweetie,hope I didn't keep you waiting for long"she said "Hello Sam, how are you" , "fine" she replied as the waiter took their order, when the main discussion started Andre began recording "Melvin informed me that you met the lady who asked you to move away from town for a while after the leaked tape,I just want to know who she is" Judah asked "How is that any concern of yours,I thought we were going to have a good time,I can make you feel so good" "well the lady accused of being the one in that video is my little sister and we both know she isn't the one,but you are. Look I'm not attracted to you in that way, I just need to know who leaked that tape and I promise I won't link you to this" "Do you have any proof that I was the one in the video,it just might not be me,the fact Melvin told you whatever he did doesn't make it me and I have nothing to tell you at all"She replied trying to leave.

That was our clue to step in so we did,Andre said "we might not have proof that it's you now but give us a week or two,we would cause we now know the culprit so you better help us get to the bottom of this and come out unscarred or not,that your choice" when he finished I turned to look at her face only to lock eyes with my childhood friend "Sammy is that you"I said "Hansel,oh my God.Look at you.it's been a long while,how have you been"she asked excited "I'm fine and you, what's been going on with you,how is your mum"I asked "My mum died a few years after we moved so it just me, my siblings and my dad.He has remarried though.what about your mum,can I get her number" she said "Sure" I replied and we exchanged numbers before I sent her my mum's number."I'm so happy to see you Hansel,oh I remember how our parents always planned to get us hitched to each other,too bad we couldn't stay in touch after we moved,anyway we can catch up now" she said "Yea,sure but I have girlfriend now and we are really serious about each other,it's actually my girlfriend's bestie that is being accused of being the girl in the video so could you help us out, please Sammy" i said "I'll try but I have something to do so we would catch up some other time"she replied hugging me before walking away."Dude, what just happened"Andre asked me "She is my childhood friend,we even dated while in high school but she moved a few months later which ended our relationship,She is harmless guys, yes she can be pushy and sassy but she is truly harmless"I replied.

"How do we go about this now"Andre asked "Well like you said we now know the culprit in the video,she either co-operate or we expose the truth,I just sent her face to the private investigator" Judah replied "Please calm down guys,I promise to get her to co-operate just give me time" I replied "I don't think your girlfriend would want her close"Judah said "Worry about yours,cause you ain't getting any tonight" I replied laughing "I don't know why she is pissed, it's not like she saw me kissing her but that dude kissed her Infront of me and I'm dealing with it"Judah said bothered "She did see her kiss your cheek and everything is triggering her insecurities"Andre said "I have to tell you,they are out for blood dude that's why we are going to the club" I said "s**t"Judah replied.

"Hello Andre"we heard and turned to see Nora, Nathan's sister "f**k! not this again"Andre murmured while we excused ourselves.I don't think Andre would be getting space anytime soon.I went home to pick my girl who look hot,I wanted us to stay in but you can't stop a girl on a mission so we hit the club.I tried giving her space to do her thing but her twerking suggestively was the last straw. After dancing for a while we left the floor to our booth and I saw Sammy there,I know how my guys can be sometimes especially when I noticed how uncomfortable Sammy was so I asked

"Are you ok Sammy" .she shook her head indicating no while crying,she walked towards me hugging me while explaining quietly. That was when I heard my baby say ,"huh,what is going on" "Sammy this is my girlfriend Joy,sweetie this is my childhood friend Sammy,we used to be pretty close" I quickly answered to avoid any misunderstanding."Nice meeting you Sammy,how are you"Joy asked "I'm good,you know Hansel and I were really close when we were little that our parents were already match making, your mum was already planning our wedding Hansel,do you remember" Samantha said playfully "Yeah, don't remind me about that,it was hilarious" I replied "Has she met your girlfriend" Samantha asked "Yea she has"I said smiling "I bet she wasn't her first choice right" Sammy continued "We all got along at the end"I replied sensing Joy getting irritated "I miss her,I have her number now so we can catch up"She replied "we'll talk on phone Hansel,bye Jane" Sammy said smiling "it's Joy,like J.O.Y" Joy replied "It was a honest mistake babe"I replied with Joy frowning.

"There is absolutely nothing to worry about babe,she is harmless,just a childhood friend.Dont get jealous" I said "I'm not,truly I'm not,she hasn't done anything to set me off"Joy replied quietly shrugging while I hugged her pulling her back to the dance floor.While we danced Joy told me how she felt Natalie was getting it this weekend with Nathan while I laughed that's my girl.When we got home I got a call from my mum "hello Hansel,I just got a call from Sammy.she is in town.I really need to see her.She told me her mum is late,poor child.she promised to come around during the weekend to see me.Do take care of her sweetie" she said "sure mum" I replied "And how is Joy,you know if you guys have a baby,it won't be a bother cause I'll take care of them full time"she said "By them what are referring to"I asked "Twins of course,there is this method you can use to get...." "woah!woah!woah!!! just stop mum, not now,we aren't ready and we are not even close to being ready, and twins mum are you serious,tell your daughter to give you twins"I said shocked just as joy walked in "You know Sammy's mum has a twin"she said "so?"I asked skeptical "Nothing,I'm just saying" She replied.

When I met Joy crying in the bathroom I knew she heard everything, "Babe its ok, there is nothing to worry about,my mum sprout some crazy ideas once in a while" I said "I'm just exhausted of the baby talks every now and then.i don't want to get pregnant before getting married.i want more for my child.its exhausting to keep hearing this and now Sammy is been brought into this"she replied "Trust me Sammy can be a bit weird most times but she is a sweet soul,she is nothing like you are thinking plus she is really sweet to people she care about" I said calming her down.I know everything is making her insecure but I just need to help her see there is nothing to be afraid of about us.
