TessI don’t remember what time I got home, but I climbed straight into the bed and replayed the night over and over until I drifted off into the most peaceful sleep that I’d had in a long time. I didn’t want to shower, because I wasn’t ready to wash his scent off of me yet. For a split second the next morning, when the alarm went off, I thought it was all a dream until I shifted under the blanket and caught Tucker’s scent. I sat up in bed and inhaled him one last time before I got in the shower to get ready for work.
