TessTypically Thursdays were my least busy days, not that they weren’t busy, but they weren’t a Friday or a Monday, or a Wednesday for that matter. End of week, beginning of week and mid-week were traditionally pretty hectic. I loved my job, but it was seriously getting in the way of my social life. I felt like I just wanted to spend all of my time with Tucker. When the workday was over I grabbed up my briefcase and made a b-line straight for the elevator. I caught Mr. Fairfax and Mr. Waterley walking down the hall, so I quickly pulled out my phone, pretended to answer it and waved to my bosses as I walked into the stairwell.
