A Wrong Marriage, An Unexpected Baby

Chapter 7

" Get ready . I will take you to the office today . The driver that I have arranged will be coming from tomorrow and the car that I have booked will also be delivered the next morning . So , bear with me until then . " While saying those words in his extremely cold voice , Gabriel walked past Aurora and stopped in front of the other side of the dresser where his clothes were , along with his other belongings which he usually needed to get ready to start the day .

But for some reason , Aurora stood still and confused . Her eyes narrowed but stayed fixed on the broad and bare back of the young master Castellanos , who had become her husband last night , because of a stupid contract .

" A car ? " Unintentionally though , Aurora's lips parted as she asked the very thing which kept bothering her all of a sudden . She even wondered if she heard it right or was it just her illusion . Did Gabriel just say that he booked a whole new car for Aurora , so that she could use it and go wherever she needed ?

For her , Gabriel was indeed acting strangely, as their relationship was surely not something where the husband could show such affection towards the wife by buying her a new car on their very first day together . So , of course , Aurora got confused for a second . But then again she remembered how Mrs Aurora Gabriel Castellanos could never walk to her work as she pleased , as it would really harm their reputation .

Right .

That is the only reason .

Once again , Aurora scoffed in the back of her mind but could not afford to show it in her face . Because by the time she came to a conclusion on her own , Gabriel had already turned around to face her with the cold expression on his face just like always .

Staring deep into those narrowed eyes , Aurora could not help but remember the times ten years back when she used to believe that nothing could be as warm as those eyes which belonged to her friend and savior , Gabriel .

Yes , at that time , he was just Gabriel , irrespective of the title and the family from where he belonged , he was just a boy who used to sit beside her in almost every single class and the one who saved her from every humiliation that came in her way during her school life . But time changed everything that she used to believe once .

After all , time is a very interesting thing , it can change the world completely .

Just like how Aurora's life changed overnight .

" Yes . I bought you a car . You can consider it as a gift for our wedding . " Gabriel uttered sternly and caused Aurora to laugh at last , as if she had just heard the funniest joke in the world .

" Are you talking about a wedding that never happened ? I got it . Thank you for the gift , young master Castellanos . " Aurora's fearless words came out sharply and stabbed Gabriel even before she realised , which caused him to approach his wife fast and stopped only when he caged her in between his arms ferociously .

Aurora froze . Her eyes widened in utter shock as she surely did not see it coming when she chose to open her ridiculous mouth just a while ago .

But the way Gabriel came so close to her at the very next second , got her frightened all over again , which pulled her back to her very reality in no time . His well defined musculous body , which was inching closer to her at every passing second , did not fail to remind her how he had all the right to defile his wife at any time or anywhere he wanted .

The boy whom she always admired from far so many years back , came so close to her as a man today and made Aurora dizzy .

At that moment she could not realise whether the heart beat which she kept hearing was hers or not . She did not know if she should close her eyes shut and endure or fight .

Their breaths , which did not stay separate from each other anymore , soon started to give rise to a sudden heat in both of them without much of their awareness .

" Husband . Honey . Darling . My love . Babe . " While Aurora was expecting the least , Gabriel parted his lips and whispered those words into her ears , causing her to shiver all of a sudden .

" What ? " She asked in her unsteady voice , as she just could not understand what Gabriel was intending to say .

" You are allowed to call me by one of those names only . So , choose now . I am not a very patient man , you know . " As soon as Aurora heard what he had just said , her cheeks started to burn until they turned red out of a sudden rush of anger . But she had to choke on her own emotions and abide by the terms of their contract even when she needed to swallow her pride over and over again .

Aurora wondered what kind of torture this was ?

" I am getting late . So , move . " Attempting to avoid such an awkward situation , Aurora tried to push him away by shoving his chest with both of her arms with all her strength , but it was all futile . Gabriel did not budge even for a little bit and kept getting closer until his lips slightly brushed against Aurora's quivering lips which were already pleading for mercy .

The sudden closeness made Aurora scared .

For her , enduring the physical assaults was much easier than what he was doing to her now . He was definitely playing with her emotions , which she was never going to allow until she died .

At least that was what Aurora thought , being completely unaware of Gabriel's true heart . Neither did he care to show her how he actually felt . Instead , what he did , made Aurora hate him even more than before .

" Please , let me go , husband ! " Turning her face away from Gabriel , Aurora finally uttered in a very low voice which caused him to stop at last .

Defeated and wounded , Aurora at last got freed as Gabriel pulled his body back and went back to dress himself up , only after being content . But before that he did not forget to say , " That sounds right , wife . "

Aurora breathed in relief at last .

But just when she thought that the whole awkward situation had finally ended , another sight made her blush hard right away . Because the man who had just left her side , took the last bit of cloth off his body right in front of her eyes , revealing his absolutely bare back , but stayed as calm as ever without any shame at all .

Even when it seemed natural for Gabriel to get naked before his wife , Aurora became startled and hurried to cover her face with her hands . Though she succeeded in blocking her sight , the image of a naked Gabriel kept flashing in her mind as she might have never seen such a perfectly defined figure of a man with her own eyes before .

" Did you not say that you were getting late ? " Without bothering to turn around , Gabriel broke the silence once again and continued to dress up , as he did not fail to realise that Aurora was still standing there and might have already seen him getting naked for the first time .

And Aurora , who had completely lost her mind by that time due to such circumstances , suddenly returned to reality and rushed inside the bathroom as soon as possible , without bothering to say one single word after that .

A mysterious hue of crimson slowly started to spread over his face without much of his realisation , just when Gabriel heard the sound of running water from the bathroom . His imagination soon started to go wild as he felt the sudden urge to peep through the obscure glass partition of the bathroom , only to find the figure of his wife who might have been taking a shower right at that moment .

But he was a man of morals after all . Even when he wanted to go against all his natures only for the sake of Aurora , Gabriel knew that it was not the right time .

This time Gabriel made up his mind to wait . Though he forced Aurora to become his wife , he decided not to impose his feelings on her when she is clearly not ready .

So , what he needed to take care of first instead of pouncing on his own wife , was to deal with the controversy which was all over the office these days .

Yes , a controversy regarding Aurora and Arthur Chevalier .

Rumors said that they were involved in adultery and it kept getting worse and worse , as Aurora had no ways of proving herself innocent until now , just because the other name which was involved in such groundless rumors was no one but her boss and also happened to be the son - in -law of the Castellanos family .

Even when Gabriel had never mentioned anything about it to Aurora yet , this rumor was the main reason why he had to trap Aurora into such a ruthless contractual marriage that he intentionally threw at her at the most unexpected time of her life , when life was already getting hard for Aurora due to her complicated worklife and family .

So , for Aurora , the contract marriage with the CEO of C&B Enterprises was not a solution but the beginning of yet another huge problem in her life which was about to turn her life into a whirlwind in about time .

But for Gabriel , what was their marriage exactly ?

A way to save her life or to ruin her in the end ?
