The dark sky still held stars high above us when we walked into the training arena. My siblings are slowly moving towards the seats placed around the field. Silus and Jason had been pacing for 20 minutes. I looked up when I felt the wind change and the scent of honeysuckle filled my nose. I saw the dark hair and blue eyes of the strange man from yesterday. My heart is racing between my chest and stomach. The world his eyes promised me was one I had never seen before. The love of a mate I once knew stung in my chest. Should he put my brother on his back then he becomes my guard. The mate I had been promised too becomes a memory and I don't know where my life goes next. Silus stared daggers at the man approaching us. His anger went out for all to see. his teeth bared back as the unknown guard walked towards us. Silus deep voice resonated across the field as an Alpha does.

" Would have been wiser to run while the chance was available stranger. To never cross my path again would have guaranteed your life for who knows how long. I am Silus Alpha of Red Sand Pack and today if I'm not knocked on my ass will rip your head from your shoulders. "

I felt my breath getting stuck in my throat. I felt my sisters hand on my shoulder as she arrived and sat beside me. Her eyes were large with fear. I felt a sudden calmness as I stared at the dark haired man in front of me. His face never wavered he had the same smug look on his face he had since he arrived. That you can try but I'll win look. Was he really capable of fighting an alpha? I was worried for his safety. I'd seen first hand the awful things Silus could do to people that crossed him.

" Alpha if I had not showed up I would not have seen the beautiful smile of my princess. "

Silus growled covered the training grounds. Making a few of the random pack members who showed up to watch bow down and whimper. I was of Alpha blood so his growls did nothing more than pinch a little. However for those pack members they would be completely submissive too his growls.

" Before I rip off your head you will tell me how you know of my sisters title. That's classified information. No commoner would know her title. Especially an outsider of the pack. "

William stared at him blankly. He's lips curling into a smirk. He was edging my brothers anger on! Did the man have a death wish?!

" It's common knowledge where I'm from. I've been training My whole life to protect my mate and when I walked into her view I could feel she was my forever. I've never felt so much love in my life. "

Silus used this moment to strike. I covered my eyes. Laney gasp made my stomach jump. I slowly moved my fingers to see William standing over Silus who was angry. Williams eyes dark and his lip was stuck to his teeth which where large and white. He taunted my brother, barely pressing his foot down on his chest.

" Alpha it is very rude to attack a man who is talking about the woman he loves. Surely your father taught you some manners. Where's the bell? whistle? you just strike and don't announce the start of the match. "

My breath hitched in my throat. Had Silus really been knocked down? I've never seen anyone get the upper hand on Silus. I looked up to see 2 larger men walking towards them. Alex and Daven meeting them with Silus. Silus had dusted himself off and the eyes of the devil himself surfaced in the black coals of his eyes. Silus had not anticipated backup for this guy.

" Back down now, I'm fine. I will not force my mate to do anything she doesn't want. Nor will I start a fight with red sand. I have won the match I am her guard now. "

William eyed the men with venom in his mouth. The men stopped and looked over at me. A since of respect from the men as they gave me a solid bow. I had never been bowed to in my life.

" Sir we do not have the authorization for you to take her back with us. We are here for you. Please come home your mother is worried sick. The girl is not worth a 500 year treaty. "

Silus grabbed Williams shoulder turning him around. I didn't remember moving but I found my body between my brother and the man that gave me butterflies I had never thought I'd have. Silus held his breath as William took a deep breath.

" Jeremy, I'm not going home. I'm staying here till My princess is ready to come home with me. "

The men got ready to argue. Silus spoke up first.

" Take this brat from my land. He is not worthy of being my sisters guard. Or whatever he is thinking. The deals off! "

Fire flickered in Williams eye. The obviously irritation and betrayal shown on his face.

" So you lied to me Alpha? You said if I knocked you on your ass I'd be her guard! "

I grabbed William and my touch against his arms sent shock wave through my body.

" Stop, I will go with you. I'm 18 I have a tight to leave it I wish to. "

I heard the loud gasp and whispers of my siblings as they all watched from the stands. Silus grabbed my arm yanking me from the dark haired cassinovia. I reached for him and yearned for him to take me with him.

" Leave my land now! my sister stays here. "

William eyed Silus as he snapped his fingers. The two mem behind him walked with him as he left the grounds. I watched helplessly as he got into a large black suv and drive off. I felt the sting of tears in my eyes. I looked at Silus hatred covering my being.

" You are an asshole Silus. You have your mate why can't I have mine! "

I pushed my brother away and ran back to my room. The air in my lungs is fighting to keep me going. I felt the sorrow deep in my chest I was losing my second mate. What would happen now? I heard my door open and expected Laney to be there. I had already started throwing stuff in my room.

" I'm not in the mood Laney. "

" Well id hope not, for right now anyways. There's plenty of time once we are together. "

The deep velvet voice filled my heart, my hope, and my fantasies. I looked up and meet eyes with William. I smiled and ran to him. Holding him close imprinting his scent into my mind. I smiled into his shirt and then my heart hit my chest.

" What are you doing here?! Silus will have you killed?! "

William smiled. Placing a kiss on my forehead. The sensation filling my body with fire. I was warm and the sun wasn't fully up yet.

" He will have to catch me first darling. Now it's your choice will you come with me or stay here. Once I'm gone I can't come back. "
