Raya sprang from the counter top. Her face furrowed in confusion.
'How did he find out? When did he find out!?' These thoughts ran through Raya's head.
“Um, I—” Raya tried to say, but was cut short.
“You know what? You don't say a single thing. I won't say I didn't expect this from you. I knew you'd one day screw up your chances of going to school. If you ask me, one week isn't enough to pin you down. Why do you always try to get people's attention? What's exactly do you want to prove? You're already a societal damage, what more do you want? The world doesn't revolve around you, Raya. Stop acting like it does. A lot of us don't want to go around being rapped up in your sloppy world. Try to get that.”
