Xavier’s pov

“ Why do I have to attend that stupid function, Damien? It’s not like they can’t hold it without me. I kinda have a thing with Savannah and I won’t miss it for the world.” I said, pacing around my office irritated to the core about this protector test thing that I should attend. I know I am supreme alpha and alpha to the largest pack, but other alphas can just choose the damn protectors. "You are an ass, you will attend and I won’t take no for an answer. I also have a feeling we will meet our mate there," My wolf said in annoyance, "and you promised if she is weak we would reject her and mate with Savannah." "Okay stupid human, I can’t accept a weak shewolf, I want a strong legacy and Savannah has alpha blood and a strong wolf."

That is what I love about my wolf. We understand each other and we deserve someone strong like us to help me rule the whole werewolf population. Damien took me out of my trance, “ We have to go. It’s one of your duties as the supreme alpha. So get your bags ready and you will see Savannah there. She will be attending with her father and sister.” Damien tells me and I am happy to pack now. Savannah has been my chosen for a while, but her father is not fond of me. He is not like other power-hungry alphas, he just respects the idea of true mates so much.

I am twenty-five and not getting any younger and the idea of mates, well let’s just say, is bullshit. So, after I saw Savannah take down a bunch of rouges one day, I fell for her immediately and my wolf was with me on this. I know I have a reputation for being a man w***e, which I am proud of and won’t change for s**t. I will f**k anything that walks with a p***y. I get ready when Donnah, Damien’s twin, enters my room with nothing on. I don’t care how she came, I just want what's down there.

After two hours of pure bliss, I get dressed and leave the slut sleeping on my bed. I get outside and find Damien waiting in the car. I got in and drove off, “ You know Donnah will come to get you in dip s**t if you don’t stop f*****g her. She has already told our parents that you are in love with her.” I laughed at what Damien just said. “ That girl is a slut. I don’t know how both of you are related. I mean you are amazing and good at your work and very faithful to your mate, even if you haven’t found her yet.” I told him smiling , I love my beta. He is my best friend and brother.

“ So my sister is not your mate, huh?” I asked him, stealing a glance his way and he seemed disappointed. “ No, she is not. It’s fine, we will wait for our mates, now we are just best friends.” Damien says with a slight smile. He turns and looks at my sister, who is sprawled in the backseat and asleep. I know how much those two love each other, so they were hurt to find out they are not mates, but I pray to Luna to give them good mates. Those that deserve their kind hearts.

After three hours of driving, we arrived at Red Wolf pack. Red wolves appeared everywhere. Damn, they are beautiful beasts. They welcomed us and escorted us to the alpha’s house. Amir is pacing and growling in my head. He is agitated by what I don’t know and I can’t think far after seeing my other slut Shaunna coming my way. She runs and hugs me and she rubs her hands along my rod. Turning around, I find Damien kissing some girl and my baby sister Elena being kissed by some dude. I knew right away they had found their mates. I am so happy for them until I am hit with chocolates and jasmine. That scent is driving me and my wolf crazy.

Just then, a goddess walks out the door and stares straight at me. Amir growls the one word I dread, ‘mate’. We curse and shift our attention to Shaunna just to watch her reaction. To my surprise, she just continues to stare at my beta and sister and smiles. What the f**k! Alpha Tim welcomes us and my mate shakes her head in amusement after I am acknowledged. I wonder why. Is she happy or does she want my title? Every b***h wants my title who doesn’t. With that thought, we smiled, knowing she would want us just like every other female. “What’s your name, shewolf!” I asked her, but she was daydreaming. I hope it’s with me or else I will kill whatever is making her smile like a creep.

The former luna cuts her daydream short and we are all looking at her for some explanation and an answer, but she just looks at us and she turns around to show us to our rooms. I am so mad, she just ignored me and didn’t recognize me as her mate or is she human? "No, she is a wolf. I can feel her wolf but it’s like it’s not there. They are masking their scent and power so I don’t know what she is." Hmm interesting. I release my power to flow as we walk but she doesn’t flinch. I feel my warriors submitting, even Shaunna has her head bowed but she is just okay handing out rooms until it’s my turn.

She turns to look at us and she smiles,”Have fun you two.” She smiles and walks away. I didn’t see any hint of jealousy or sadness, not even anger or disgust. Amir and I are livid. She dares ignore us. I pushed Shaunna into the room and threw her to the furthest wall. “ WHO IS SHE!” I demanded from the slut, we have never been treated like that before. “Who are you talking about babe? I see you want it rough this round.” She says, smiling seductively. I am disgusted by her sight, but my rod is hard and I need a diversion from that goddess. So I grab the slut, bending her at the edge of the bed, I tear whatever she's got on and free my aching rod. I ram into her without thinking.

Right now I am too livid to think about anyone but my mate, damn that goddess. She ignored me like I didn’t exist. I want her and I will f**k all the girls until she comes to beg me to stop. I don’t hear Shaunna’s cries, I just assume she is having whatever fun she needs. After I c*m on the floor I put my still hard rod in my pants and walked to the bathroom, “ When I come back to my room I don’t want to see your filthy face, you will never be her and I already know you are after my title.” I tell her and before I close the bathroom door she screams, “ You can’t do this to me, I rejected my mate for you and now you don’t want me! Is it because of that b***h Savannah?”

I just chuckle darkly,” You have no idea, I’m talking about my true mate, my true supreme luna, the true alpha female. You will never compare yourself to her. You’ve got nothing on her. Get the f**k out before I unleash my beast on you.”, I tell her with a dark tone and she scrambles off the floor and runs out the door. I laugh like a maniac, enjoying the smell of fear she is leaking. I closed the door and took a bath to clean myself of that stench and get ready to find that mate of mine. "Yes let’s go find our mate, there is something intriguing about her. She is pretending to be a low-class wolf." "I thought I was imagining things,. You felt it too?" I asked my wolf and he nodded his head .

I walked down and followed the noise which was coming from the dining area. I enter and greet them and they continue chatting. “ Oh Brother, meet my mate, alpha Thomas Red and babe, this is my brother Xavier.” Elena introduces us and we start chatting like long lost friends. “ Alpha, this is my mate Leila Bonde Red and love this is my alpha.” Damien introduces her mate too. “ Pleased to meet the famous alpha supreme, isn’t your mate lucky.” Leila says in an amused tone and looks behind me. That’s when we smell her, my goddess, though I don’t turn to show how anxious I am feeling. “ Xavier, this is my baby cousin Aurora, she is our best warrior, actually her and Leila are taking the protectors test this coming weekend.” Thomas says with pride in his eyes. Wow, our mate is a warrior and a protector. That’s why we felt the power, but she is not of alpha blood, so Savannah is still my mate.

I turned to greet my mate and she was smiling like crazy, “ Well if it’s not the famous alpha Xavier. You know I have had a lot about you and it’s lovely to finally put a face to the name.” She says and laughs a bit, that melodic sound is addictive. I want her to laugh again so I use my charms. “ You, beautiful is all I need to brighten my day.” I smirk at her seductively and I know no one can say no to that. She laughs out loud and I love it ,” Just like your reputation, but sorry you are not my type.” She says and walks away, leaving me all bothered and livid. I growl so loudly the whole house shakes.

No one has ever rejected me and it hurts, "Mate just rejected us, and she is not in pain. I can only feel her joy." My wolf whimpers and I can’t take it anymore. I have to find her and make sure she is not worth it, then reject her. Yes, I would reject her in front of everybody and that would teach her some manners. I smiled darkly, loving the plan, so I calmed down and waited for dinner like a good guest of honor. I am on a mission to hurt my mate and make sure she cries, then I will feel better.

After dinner, I went to my room and found another pack slut waiting, “ What is an omega doing on my bed, who told you I f****d low life bitches. Get out of my room before I banish you from the werewolf territory.” I tell her with a deathly calm tone, she turns pale from fear and she runs out of my room like her ass is on fire. I laugh at the stupid omega. Women don’t know their limits. The only woman I desire right now doesn’t want me and isn’t affected by my charms at all. Then I hear her voice like music to my ear, “ Bestie guess who’s coming tomorrow.” Leila asks. I just move closer to my door to enjoy my mates scent.

“ You know very well I am not good at guessing games, so spill now!” “ Okay sheesh, hold your wolf, Trent is coming and you remember what he promised you.” Leila shrieks, damn that woman is a banshee. I waited for my mate's reply, which seemed to take a while, “Well, I think I might say yes to his proposal this time. I mean I met my mate and he is not worth it, so I am technically single and Trent is everything I want in a man.” She says dreamily, I am not pleased at all. Alpha Trent is my competition. Although the guy is a total ladies magnet, he had eyes for his luna only until she died and he became closed off. Being the alpha to the second largest pack gave him the diversion, but six months ago, rumors had it that he met his second chance mate.

Amir is growling in my head, wanting to rip Trent’s head off, so my Aurora is the woman people are talking about. I will not loose my mate to such a wolf, I will fight for her. What I heard next had me in pain, regret and anger , “ Do you now regret giving him your V card?” Leila asked. “ No. I do not regret anything. What Trent and I had that night was amazing and one of my most memorable moments. I can’t wait to see him.” My mate says happily and they continue to their rooms laughing and giggling. I am left there hating everything they just said, my beautiful mate is willing to love another man other than her true mate.

This revelation irked me to no end. Amir wanted out and I gave him that . We went for a run around the territory, marking it with my scent and leaking my power. I was so mad to worry that this was not my territory, but I will say it was to chase away rogues. I went back to my room and fell asleep. After running, my bed was more enticing than p***y. When my head hit the pillow, I was out like the lights with only one thing in my mind, rejecting that worthless mate of mine. She isn’t my cup of tea and she will never be a supreme luna.

Third person’s pov

On the other hand, Aurora is dreaming about Trent. Devon has made a connection to his wolf and he is determined to make Trent and Donovan (Trent’s wolf) their chosen mates. Trent had shown Aurora what love is and she accepted it fully. They had an instant connection that was so strong, like true mates.

After Trent saw Aurora help an older shewolf after falling down, he couldn’t stop the feelings that swarmed him. He knew she was the one to be her next luna and mate and made a move immediately. Though he promised to wait until she found her mate and see if she would move on or if she would be rejected so that he could take her and love her. He prayed for the latter. He had been waiting patiently and he would wait forever just to be with her.
