Book Three| Dancing With The Defensive End: Chapter 5

John I broke from the embrace I had with Gia. Not sure what we are going to do if I do end up in California. I know Gia has a past she will not talk about. I have a feeling California might be part of that past. It is the only thing I can think of as to why she is adamant she will not move to California. Sometimes Gia is a puzzle. Eventually I have figured out her puzzle, but something is telling me that this puzzle piece I have right now isn’t going to fit anything. “I have to go to the airport in an hour to pick up Mikey and company.” I told Gia. “And company? Who is he bringing?” Gia asked. “I think his sister Andi. But they have some issues going on because of that Tate kid. So not one hundred percent sure she is going to be with him now.” I told Gia. “Andi is young, you have to let her make mistakes. The more Mickey pushes her not to be with Tate, the more she wants to be with Tate. Even though she may know deep down he isn’t a good guy. Just how it is unfortunately.” Gia said. “You talk like you've been through something like that.” I said to her. “I was young, in love, and stupid once myself.” Gus told me. I knew that would be all Gia would tell me. I know not to push her. She will tell me when she feels it’s the right time. I have been with Gia now for six years. She has a lock on her heart and she has that lock mostly off for me. There is still a portion of it she keeps locked. I love this woman. She really has become my whole world. Even her flaws I love. I have asked her to marry me, a few times actually over the years I have asked, but she always says she doesn’t want the paper that says we are fine just as we are. That’s a puzzle I can not figure out why she won’t become my wife. She is right, it is just a piece of paper saying we are legally together. I admit I love to have her be Mrs John Johnson, but she won’t do it legally. “You want to come with me to pick up Mikey?” I asked Gia. “I love to, but can’t. I got a private class to teach at the centre I got to leave for.” Gia said. I laughed and said, “Let me guess it’s for that Mrs Conners lady?” Gia nodded her head and said, “Yep. She feels if she learns stripper moves she can get her husband in the mood. I mean I know my moves do turn you on Big John.” She said as she put her arms back around my waist. “Oh, I do enjoy your moves Ms Angel.”I smiled at her as my arms were around her. Gia smiled up at me and said, "an hour, huh?” She turned around in my arms so her back was against me. She reached up with her arms to put behind my bracket as I felt her grinding her ass against me. “Oh, my little dancer wants to play?” I smirk. “Me? No, I just need to figure out my routine to teach.” Gia giggled as she slowly slid her one hand down my neck. “You are playing with fire, you know that my little dancer.” I asked her. Gia spun back around to face me, she hooked her leg around mine as she rubbed herself down my body. “Am I?” She said coyly. I gave a half smile. She is such a tease but I do love it. Gia knows how to turn me on. Gia kept grinding on me. I could feel myself straining through my pants. Gia ran her hand down my chest and settled it in my hard c**k in my pants. “Hmm looks like Big John wants to come out and play.” She whispered. “I think an Angel is teasing him into coming out to play.” I told her as I reached down and tilted her head up to look at me before I crashed my lips against hers. As I kissed Gia she kept palming my c**k with her hand through my pants. I groaned as I kissed her. Gia broke out the kiss and untangled herself from me and said, “I got to run and teach now.” “Uggg Gia, you little tease.” I groaned. “Yeah, but you still love me. Say hi to Mickey for me!” She said as she headed out the door. Damn, I got to get myself situated now before I can leave to pick up Mikey now. Thanks Gia. * I hate airport pickups. This place is always a f*****g zoo when pick someone up. Luckily me and the guys a few years ago discovered a little trick that makes it easier for us to pick up at the airport. Instead of going to arrivals to pick up where it’s always insane. We pick up at departures instead. Really is less crowded and so much easier. Actually it was Olivia, Liam’s wife who figured this out. She said it was when their little girl distracted Olivia when she was driving. Olivia ended up in departures instead of arrivals. She noticed someone was getting picked up and how it was less crowded. So she pulled to the curb and called Liam to get his ass up to departures instead. After that, that’s how we pick anyone up from the airport now. Yeah, me and my former college teammates all have remained friends. I see Liam, Eric, Mickey, and Jimmy regularly. We have a tight bond that no matter what we are there for each other. I pulled into the departures and I saw that goofy grinning i***t, Mikey. He was standing there under Delta with his bag. I pulled up to the curb and he waved and ran over to my car. I popped my trunk, he put his bag in and slammed it shut while he ran over to the passenger door and hopped into my car. “Hey asshole, thanks for picking me up.” Mikey grinned at me. “Sure thing, dipshit.” I laughed. That was me and Mikey. We always teased each other with nicknames. “Seriously, thanks for letting me crash with you for a few days. I just need a mental health break from Tampa.” Mikey said. “I get it. I mean it is eternal summer there, who wouldn’t need a break from that. Good thing this is the off season that you can come for a few days to Dallas.” I told him. “Well Liam is out since I see the damn guy every f*****g day. Eric is in Pittsburgh but he and Jill are due to have that baby anytime now and with my luck the kid will come when I am there and I honestly don’t want to see Jill give birth.” Mijey said. “I don’t blame you for that. It’s one thing to see your own child but to see another man’s wife do it, I’m no.” I said. “Gia gave birth?” Mikey asked, confused. “No, what made you ask that?” I asked him as I drove out of the airport. “You said to see your own child. When did you get a child?” Mikey asked. “I don’t have a kid. It’s just an expression. I mean yeah if me and Gia ever have a baby I would want to see that. I don’t want to see Eric’s woman give birth, it's just creepy. You know what change the subject.” I told him. Mikey laughed and said, “Ok, so I heard on sports news you might be getting traded to good old San Francisco.” “Yeah, it’s true. They really want me according to my agent. Truth is if this trade happens, I would get more playing time there then I do here.” I told him. “Yeah, that’s what the analysts are saying too, that this would be a good move for you.” Mickey sighed. “So what’s going on? Why the mental health break and I see Andi didn’t join you.” I said to him. He sighed and said, “I need a break from Andi. You know, I love my little sister and letting her live with me was a mistake. I mean I thought hey it’s only in summer when she is not in college. You know she has decided to take a f*****g year off. Her senior year she decided to take a break.” Mikey grumbled. “Why?” I said as I merged into the highway to go towards my house. “Tate. That piece of s**t Tate has convinced her of being his good luck charm, the asshole.” Mijey grumbled. Tate is a teammate of Mikey and Liam’s. He was the last season’s hotshot on the team. He has talent but he is so damn cocky. Media has even nicknamed him the NFL gigolo because he is never with the same woman twice in any photograph. That was until Andi. For some reason this kid took an interest in Andi. Both me and Eric both think he is using Andi to get to Mikey. He does hate Mikey, that is a fact. Liam isn’t sure and says it seems like Tate really does have feelings for Andi. But also says Tate is a good actor. “I hope he isn’t leading Andi on. She is a great girl and he doesn’t deserve her.” I told Mikey.
