My earlier thoughts of hitting the hard ground didn't seem to happen as arms of steel wrapped tightly around my arms holding me up. My eyes were tightly shut, still processing what happened.
“Vanessa? I'm so sorry I didn't see you there.”
I blinked twice. “Jackson?” I said in disbelief. “What are you doing here?”
