teaching a lesson 42

Chapter 42 Creek's POV When I got out of the shower, I felt much cleaner now after that run in the woods chasing that darn rabbit. I thought I would never catch it. I'm just happy that she accepted the rabbit; it was my first gift to her, which made my whole day. After my shower, I dried off and got dressed quickly. As I hurried downstairs, I saw Rice walk up to some pack members and say, "I hope to see y'all out there in the training grounds. Maybe you can teach me a thing or two, so I can get big and strong just like you. What was my mate up to? I knew these girls were assholes; they have tried and tried to get into my bed. When I said no to them, they would pout. Don't get me wrong, I've had my fair share of women, but these three girls, hell no. I knew what they wanted. They even tried to mark me once, and after that day, I kept away from them." Walking up behind my mate, I put my arms around her waist. I wanted to make sure Sally, Shannon, and Daisy knew for sure they had no chance with me. Then I said, "What are you girls up to today? I'm sure you're supposed to be out in that training ground. Am I correct, or are you messing with my mate?" Their eyes widened, and they responded, "Yes, Alpha." "We are heading there after breakfast, Alpha. I'm sure you want to see your mate out there as well. She wants us to show her some new moves so she can learn how to fight," they said with a large smirk on their faces. I knew what they were up to, and I wanted to laugh because I already knew Rice could fight; she was the top warrior in her pack. But I decided to play along with them, "Sure, I'll be out there watching. I want to see what kind of moves you could teach your Luna. Do not disrespect her again. She's not just my mate; she's the Luna of the pack. She's your Luna. Is that clear?" “Yes, Alpha, we are sorry. We will go now,” they hurried away to the dining hall. Rice turned to me, smirking. "I heard them talking about wanting you and asking why I haven't left yet, that I was a weak omega. I decided I was going to let them think that I’m weak. I want to see what they’re going to do once I'm out there with them. You don't have to be out there to watch, but if you want to, you’re more than welcome." We started walking to the dining hall. I was getting hungry; all the office work was done. I don't have any paperwork until tomorrow, so this is going to be fun to watch. “I don't mind being out there. I know those three girls; they can be sneaky, they're bad news. I keep them here just to keep an eye on them. If I banished them, they would be dead in a few minutes. Come on, let's go eat so we can get outside.” We walked into the dining hall; everyone looked up at us when we walked inside. I did my little speech like I do every morning. “Hello, my family. I'm thankful for the gathering here today. Let's eat so we can do what we need to do, shall we?” They all nodded and then went back to talking and eating. Most of the pack usually are home eating breakfast with their families; only the unmated come and eat. We had eggs, turkey sausage, and grits. I poured a cup of coffee; trust me, I needed it this morning. After we finished eating, we walked outside to the training ground. The girls were already out there waiting. Now I wonder what's going to go down. I'm going to stand back and watch, but if they try anything, I will step in and stop it. Daisy's POV: I don't know what is going on with these two girls, but they're crazy, wanting to challenge the Luna. I don't like her either, but I'm not about to challenge this girl. I heard she came from Jasper's pack and she was one of the top warriors. I'm not about to get my ass kicked. I know I talked badly about her, so I'm going to end up paying for it. So, let the show begin. Sally stepped up to Rice; she had a smirk on her face. Then she said to her, “If you want to be a good fighter, you're going to have to get into a fighting stance, then show me how you ball your fist up.” That's what Rice did. She got into her fighting stance and balled up her fist. Sally nodded and said, “Alright girl, you're getting off on the right foot. So, what I'm going to do is throw a punch at you. I'm going full force here, I'm not going to let up because you're the Luna of the pack. I want you to try and dodge it. If you can't, that's okay. You will learn how to. So, let's do this." Daisy balled her fist up, swung back as hard as she could, then swung at Rice's face. Rice ducked and retaliated with a swing kick, making Daisy fall on her back, and then she kicked her in the head. “What the heck! Why did you kick me in the head, you stupid bi***?” “Oh, I'm sorry. I thought I was supposed to do that, wasn't I? Call me a stupid bi*** again, and you will get it worse. Now, let's get this started. Since I'm an Omega and I'm weak, let's see what you can teach me, silly girl.” Sally was pissed. I didn't know she heard us talking. Oh, I'm not in this one. I stood back with the crowd. I'm not stupid. I knew what this girl could do. Daisy got up, brushed herself off, and went after Rice, but she evaded. I think she had enough playing around when she performed a roundhouse kick, sending Sally flying. She hit the ground hard but got up, ran at her again. Rice kicked her right in the head, and Sally went down, knocked out cold. Shannon backed away from her, and as for me, I was still in the crowd, not wanting any part of it. Rice stood up and said, “Is there anyone else that wants to try me? I'm not an Omega, and I'm not weak. I fought my way up, trained hard to get where I am today. I was one of the top warriors in my pack. So, if anyone else has a problem with me, let's finish this right now.” No one said a word, not even Shannon or me. I wasn't going to be like Sally and end up getting my butt beaten. Geez. Let's just hope Sally learned her lesson. Probably not, but who knows.
