Chapter 19
Miller POV
I was going to go to the hotel today but once I saw her mate get out of the car with a load full of warriors, including the damn king and queen, I thought twice about it. So, I decided to wait until tomorrow. I wanted to make sure that the royals were gone. I've met Xander a few times and trust me, the dude scares the h3ll out of me. I'd rather not get in his way anymore. He's tall and muscular, he looks like he could kill someone just by slapping someone in the back of the head, or just by looking at him. It has been told that he had killed a rogue just by ripping his arms off of him. The rogue was so terrified when he saw his arms being ripped off that he died being scared. Mainly, he died being scared to death, but that's just an old folks' tale. My phone started ringing. I already knew who it was before I even looked at the phone, so I answered it.
"What is it, Cherry? It's too early in the morning for any drama right now. What do you need?"
"It's not too early for anything, so give me some news already. Was she there? Is she in love with you yet?" Rolling my eyes, I swear this woman is going to drive me up the freaking wall. I can't wait for all this to end, and I will be free to do whatever I want. So, I answered her, even though I lied through my teeth. I did tell her a few things.
"Yes, she was there. No, she's not in love with me yet. It takes more than a day to do that. My room is four doors down from her, so she has to walk by my room before she gets to the elevator. So, we will be bumping into each other a lot. Happy now?" Hearing her laugh in my ear, I hated that laugh. It sounded like she was squealing like a pig or something like that, meaning I can't stand her laughter at all. I hated it.
"No, I'm not happy. I won't be happy until I have her in my pack. You just make sure you do your job and stay out of trouble."
"Yeah, yeah, yeah, I hear you. I'll call you later." I hung up the phone so I didn't have to listen to her anymore. As far as I'm concerned, I'm done with that woman. I'm hoping to find my mate in this hotel or from another pack so I don't have to go back to her. I waited for the royals to leave, then I walked up to the hotel and asked for a room. The young lady gave me a room on the second floor. Well, what she doesn't know won't hurt her. I went to my room, placed my palm on the pad, and I heard the door unlock. I walked inside, put my bag down, and then I enjoyed the quiet for a while. The room was quiet, just how I liked it.

Rice's POV
When I heard that Laura was finally awake, I was excited. I was just an omega wanting to be a warrior. I watched every single day while they trained. I would practice at night so no one would catch me. I thought my mother would be angry with me. I thought Luna would be pissed because I was an omega wanting to be a warrior. Until one night, Luna Laura was taking a walk. She saw me training by myself. She came up to me, just watching me for a while. Then she spoke. She wasn't mad at me; she was encouraging me, telling me what I was doing right and what I was doing wrong. Then she showed me how to correct the mistakes I was making. We did this for a week straight. Then she told Jasper that I wanted to become a warrior. To my surprise, he didn't have a problem with it. He put me into training, and it turned out to be one of the best warriors out there. Now that she's awake, I want to see her. I know she has lost her memory, and I hope when we see her, she will remember me. I was nervous when I asked my mate, Alpha Creek, if we could go see her. I thought he would say no, but his eyes lit up and he said, "Of course," so all the omegas get to train as well. All thanks to Luna Laura, I was excited to see her today. When I woke up, I took a quick shower, dried off, then got dressed. I put my hair in a messy bun, brushed my teeth, and then I was done. I walked out of the bathroom with Creek standing there, smiling.
"Woman, I know you're excited about seeing Luna Laura, but you left me hanging here." I looked down, licking my lips, and then I said, "Well, I could fix that in a jiffy." He smirked as I bent down on my knees, putting him in my mouth. I gave him quite a blow job, having him grab the dresser so he wouldn't fall. When he came, he came down my throat. I stood on my feet licking my lips, went back into the bathroom to brush my teeth again, and he took a shower while I decided to change. I put on jeans and a dark blue pullover shirt. Then I put on my boots. When he came out, he got dressed, putting on a dark blue button-up shirt and blue jeans. He also wore boots.
“Are you ready to head out? The faster we get there, the faster you can see her and talk to her."
"Of course, if it wasn't for her, I would still be training hidden, and no one would have known. Let me check on my mother first; she hasn't been feeling well lately."
“Of course, honey, let's go see her first,” he walked me down to the third floor where my mother was staying. She had a whole floor to herself. I knocked on her door, and a few minutes later, she answered.
"Hey mom, I just wanted to check up on you before I go see Laura. How are you feeling?”
“Oh, honey, I'm doing okay. I was just sitting on the sofa watching some news. You go have some fun, okay? I’ll see you once you get home.”
“Okay, momma, I'll tell Laura you said hello.” I hugged my mother, then left. I knew she hadn't been feeling too good. Her health has been going downhill lately ever since my dad got killed by a rogue attack. She hasn't found another mate. I was hoping she would so she would feel better, but sometimes the moon goddess doesn't grant you another mate. She has her reasons. Even though I wish I knew the reasons, I guess I will never find out. I just prayed to her to let my mother live as long as she could. I'm not ready to let her go just yet. Not yet, please, moon goddess, just not yet, okay? We got in the truck and drove off. I'm hoping that my mother will be okay. She likes watching the news a lot.
