making my choice 2

Chapter 2 Moon Goddess POV I knew I should have let LeeAnn talk to her, but if I did that, then she would hurry to make her decision. Walking back over to her, then I sat down beside her, touching her hand with mine. She looked over at me with a small smile. Thank you. I knew she was here. I wanted to jump up and run over to her, but I knew I couldn't. I think I made my decision. Before anything happens, I have a few questions. Will I be able to remember them right away? Will I remember Jasper being my mate? Will I be able to remember my family? All these questions, I couldn't answer; I'm going to try to answer as best as I can. Maybe I can get around it so they won't know. "My sweet, sweet child, no, you won't remember anything. But things will happen that will make you start remembering it. Oh, my child, I wish I could tell you more, but I can't. Once you are back, you will wake up not knowing anything. I will try to help you as much as I can, but I also need to be careful, honey; the higher-ups will be watching. Are you sure you want to do this?" I knew she was thinking about this really hard. I knew her answer before she even told me, but I needed her to tell me; I just can't let her go back without her saying anything. "Yes, I'm sure. Whatever happens when I get back, I know it's going to be rough. But if they believe in me, if you believe in me, I know I can do this. So, tomorrow I will be sent back, and I won’t remember anyone. This is going to piss my mate off. But if I’m going to get my powers to help win this war that's coming up, I am going to need to do this. Can I stay here for just one more day, or do I have to go back to my body now?" I wanted to laugh, but I didn't. I pulled her gently to me, hugging her. "I have to send you back to your body, honey. You will be waking up tomorrow. I will help as much as I can, but that's all I can do. Are you ready to go?" She shook her head no, then said, "No, I'm not. It's so peaceful here. There are no wars, no drama, but I know I need to go. It's been far too long now. I know I need to get back." I held onto her hands, kissing both of them, then her forehead. "Things will be okay. There's going to be some drama and danger, but I promise you that you're going to come out stronger than you think. You're a hybrid—a child of a Werewolf and Werecat. It's time, honey. You need to go back." Laura's Point of View I hated to leave here; I felt so much at peace, but I knew I needed to get back. I'm saddened that I won't remember Jasper, but it needs to be done for me to gain my powers. I was sitting on the bench when I felt someone in here with me. I knew Selena was here, but someone else was also present. I smelled her scent. Selena got to her before she could come to me. I heard their conversation. She wanted to come over to talk to me and hug me. I wanted that so badly, but I knew she couldn't. Selena made her go back. I made my decision. I already knew what I was going to do; I just needed time to understand it. I won't even remember anything, not even my own mate. I wanted to stay just for one more day. But Selena said no. It was time for me to finally go back. She kissed my hands, then my forehead, and I was gone. I was back in my body. I heard everyone talk. I even knew that LeeAnn and Xander were there. She whispered to me, saying, “I know you're in there somewhere. Come back to us, Laura. There are people who love you so much and are waiting for you to wake up.” I knew I wouldn't remember her once I woke up. I heard doors being opened and closed, and then there was nothing. It was time for my memory to go. It was time. Even though I didn't want to do this, I had to. I smelled Jasper's scent; he was close to me. And that's all it was. I was in complete darkness once again. Tomorrow, I will wake up, and that will be that. I didn't know what was going to happen, but I knew I needed to do this.
