The Unwanted: Embracing Fate

The newborn babies hands moved as though still adjusting to her own skin squirming in the soft lemon coloured blanket that was wrapped around her keeping the small thing warm on such a chilly morning. Her mother ran her hand over the babies head the fine hair coated in a little blood after not long being born, she let out a little cry in which her mother was quick to soothe and rock the baby gently in her arms. Slowly the child opened her eyes the blue-eyes practically surrounded in a glowing halo ring as the baby stared up at her mother “My child you have such a future ahead of you” she spoke in a whisper continuing to rock the baby “one day you will help lead all our kind, lead us to a better future for all of our kind it is in your destiny my sweet baby” leaning down she kissed the baby her little button nose as she settled once again in her mother's arms as her mother turned to look out the window watching the sunrise welcoming in a new day and now a new beginning to their world “welcome to the world Kaia Laurent” she turned back to the now sleeping baby “our future Lycan Luna.”
