Elara I made eye contact with my uncle before turning back toward the exit. I rose from the chair, ready to make my way out, when Adrian stopped me. “I will come with you.” He caught my hand as he stood. “I think you should stay back while we go see what it is,” my uncle cut in quickly. Without waiting for a response, he strode toward the door. If this has anything to do with being Adrian’s Luna, I know uncle won’t hesitate to disapprove. I gave Adrian’s hand a reassuring pat and followed my uncle, praying this wasn’t something worse than what I was already imagining. Lydia hadn’t slowed when she delivered the message, she had run straight out again. Today was supposed to be a good day. I don't understand why they’ve chosen to ruin it.
