Sarah’s POV
I stared at my sleeping mate with a small smile. He looks so beautiful and peaceful while sleeping. I caressed his hair gently.
After forcing him to eat something, I was about to leave when he asked me to stay till he falls asleep. I couldn’t resist the pleading look in his eyes and agreed.
He was so tired that he fell asleep the moment his head hit the pillow.
He had been through a lot today. First finding his brother who was supposed to be dead is still alive. Then got threatened by family. And then he was attacked.
It must be too tiring for him.
I don’t get it, after going through so much in one day, how he can smile at me and hide everything that is going inside his mind.
Once again I realized my mate is a very strong man.
My heart is filled with concern for him.
