The next few days went fairly smoothly. The council asked me to wait on having Michaels Alpha ceremony as they wanted to look into the allegations that have been made against William first. He is to be kept locked away until they decided the correct course of punishment.

Michael had given me a list of things he wanted to change in the pack which I was very impressed with. His already organised proper rooms for the omegas and wages for them, and he helped pick his new warriors. Which included women . He even started making plans to build a new gym for them to train and work out in. I knew he was going to make a good Alpha.

Sam had informed me that the meeting with the Vampire king will be in just over 2 weeks at a clearing not far from our pack house. He was happy to inform me that vampire king agreed to no more attacks on pack grounds but he would still not Inclose why he was interested in my mate. That was a start atleast.

My mate is happily sitting next to me in bed reading a book while I finishing the last preparations to head home tomorrow.

“Are you ready to leave this place behind?”. I ask her. She meets my gaze as she looks up from her book.

“Yes and no. I’m excited to see your home for the first time and meet your pack members, but I’m also alittle scared. Even though I don’t have the best memories for this places it’s the only home I’ve ever known.” I kiss her light on the forehead.

“I know baby. You don’t need to be scared though. You will love my pack and I know everyone will love you. My mother will especially adore you”. I laugh.

“You’ve never mentioned your mother before”. She says. “Are you sure you’ll like me?”.

“That’s because she’s never come up and she will love you. She’s been holding out hope that I would find my mate. She didn’t approve of me dating Sarah. She kept saying that I just needed to have patience and trust that the moon goddess would bring her to me. And here you are” I smile.

“Here I am”. She smiles back.

“I actually haven’t told her I found my mate yet. I want to surprise her. I had to get Louise to swear to kept it a secret”.

“ Oh no! Are you sure she could keep this kind of secret. She talks…a lot”. My mate giggles.

“I’m sure. She knows how happy this will make mother. Your not mad I haven’t told her?”.

“Not at all. I think it’s kind of sweet. Are you excited to be going home?”.

“Yes and no. Yes because I’m so excited to show you my home and to introduce you to my pack members as my mate. No because I’m going to have so much work to catch up on. We were away a lot longer then I had expected so I didn’t make the correct preparations. My father helped stay on top of the important duties but there are just some things he can’t do anymore. He had a stroke a few years back and his memory has been fried”.

“That’s horrible! I hope his ok”.

“His not to bad. He can still walk and talk fine his just not allowed to do anything that puts to much strain on his heart. And he can’t remember anything new for the life of him. You know I caught him watching the same movie three days in a row once and he swore he’d never seen it before”.

“Awww poor thing. Can anything be done?”.

“No. The pack doctor has done some test and his on heaps of medications but due to a were wolfs high healing abilities and body heat the medication is having trouble staying in his system. The pack doctor isn’t even sure what caused the stroke. He said this is the first time his heard of a were wolf having one”.

“Maybe the stress of being king was to much for him?”. She politely says.

“Well that was the pack doctors only conclusion as to what caused it. That why he handed the pack over to me only a few days after my sixteenth birthday”.

“Didn’t you say fathers don’t normally hand there packs over to their sons until there eighteen birthday?”.

“Yes. Some wait longer though. All packs have their traditions. I know there’s a few packs in Russia that won’t hand their packs over to the next in line till they find their mates. They believe an Alpha is nothing without his Luna. Which is very true”. I smile at her.

“Are you sure I’ll be a good queen and Luna? I mean I don’t really know anything about this stuff”.

“Yes baby. I think you’ll do great. You’ll have me and Mother will be there to help you the whole way through aswell”.

“Oh ok. Let’s do this then”. She plants a soft kiss on my lips. Her lips Hoover in front of mine waiting for more. As our lips touch again our kiss becomes more passionate. Fireworks feel like they explode all around us.
