Chase’s POV
The dismissal bell rang, making my wolf’s head snap towards the school, just in time to see the doors to the school being pushed open. As normal, my fellow peers rushed out of the school straight towards their vehicles in the parking lot, and it didn’t take long for me to spot Jessica with her normal group of friends, bringing up the rear.
My eyes moved back and forth between Jessica and her group of friends to Mazie with Raven’s friends from California, noticing that both groups were slowly moving straight towards each other. Movement from within the forest by Jessica’s car became more visible, and I knew it was just a matter of time before the rogue emerged from within the forest’s shadows to follow through with the planned attack.
