Chapter 15

AADEN POV- YEAR 202

I’m in the court room of the with the Emperor and ministers while discussing the National matters.

“Your highness, Princess Fiona’s plan is very effective. Although, it has introduced recently, it has a significant positive effect to our Nation, specially to the economy.”

One of the Ministers said causing me to smile happily. My Aaliyah, indeed she is very talented. I’m so proud of her. The Emperor begins talk while wording my thoughts.

“Yes, she is a very talented girl. She’ll make our nation the strongest. I’m so proud to have her as the crown princess of the Nation. Another three Emperors contact to me and inform that they also want to implement the plans like us. They want to arrange awareness programmes to develop the knowledge between them.”

‘What? I can’t live without her. If she goes to other Nations, it’ll take months.’

With that thought, I turn towards the Emperor to discuss about it. But before that, an informer walk nears to the Emperor and murmurs to him causing the Emperor’s expressions to panic. This is not going to be good news. 

The Emperor look at me and I’m sure this is about Aaliyah.

“The crown Princess and the Princess Aliena were attacked by Assassins on the way to palace. All the guards, and maids were killed. The informer is saying that, one of the Princesses is wound because there was blood in the palanquin. The wound Princess probably may Fiona, because if she was healthy, she’ll definitely fight against the Assassins.”

The Emperor’s words make my blood cold with the fear of losing my Aaliyah.

“How is she? She is okay, right?”

I ask while standing up from my sitting place.

“Our soldiers are searching for them. You can also go with an army crew.”

With the Emperor’s words, I come to the place where Aaliyah was attacked. Although, I know that Aaliyah’s tolerance level is high, it pains me to see my love in pain. After I find her, I’ll never allow her to go away from my vision.

“Your highness, the princesses probably ran to this forest. Our soldiers are searching inside the forest. Will we go too?”

Without caring to reply the soldier’s question, I walk inside the forest while leaving the horse. The soldiers also follow me. When we walk nearly fifteen minutes, Princess Aliena runs into my chest and begins to cry.

‘Why does she cry like this? Where is my Aaliyah?’

With that thought, I make Aliena away from me to inquiries about Aaliyah. But before me Aliena speaks.

“Oh god! Silly me. I’m sorry brother. First, we must take care of sister-in-law. She has lost conscious. Let’s go. I’ll take you guys to her.”

“While directing us to Fiona, describe what happened.”

This time I’ll kill the culprit with my own hands. There will be no sympathy for them whether who they are.

“As usually, after checking West kingdom’s market and giving necessary orders we were returning to the Palace. Suddenly, our palanquin stopped, and Sister-in-law opened her side door to see the situation, and me too opened my side. The people dress in black was killing our guards and maids. So, I close the door quickly and turn towards the sister-in-law. In the blink of eyes, we open the door, she was attacked by two arrows. I’m very sure that their target was the sister-in-law. They were well-prepared and must observe us from the beginning of the journey. If not, how the hell they know which side was occupied by sister-in-law and attacked only her. We are here.”

Aliena’s words brings me out from the trance, and we walk inside the cave quickly. My heartbeat stops for a moment, when I Aaliyah’s unconscious body on the cave floor.

I run towards her and take her upper body onto my lap while the nurse we bring, begins to unwrap the cloth piece around Aaliyah’s shoulder. Blood is oozing from her wound still. The nurse sews the wound and treat the wound. After wrapping the wound with a bandage, she checks the pulse.

“Your highness, princess’s wound is deep and has lost too much blood making her unconscious. I’ve treated the wound. But we have to take her to the palace as soon as possible for further treatments.”

Saying that, she moves away from us after bowing her head. I take Aaliyah into my hands and walk to the place where the horses were left. I make Aaliyah unconscious hands around my neck and wound my left hand around her waist. While tightly gripping her body mine, I climbed on the horse’s back.

“Make sure that, Aliena and the maid safely reach to the palace.”

After ordering to the guards, I ride the horse to the palace. When we reach the Palace, the Emperor, Empress and the royal doctor is waiting for us. As soon I take Aaliyah to our chambers, the royal doctor begins to examine Aaliyah.

After a few minutes, he instructs the nurses to prepare the medicines, and meals for Aaliyah. After the nurses work away, the royal doctor looks at us with a troubled expression.

“What is it doctor? Our Fiona is okay right?”

The Empress’s words bring me out to reality.

‘Yeah! Right. This is Fiona to them. Not my Aaliyah.’

“She was attacked with poisonous arrows. The poison is deadly. But we’ll be able to control it with the medicine and meals I have instructed to prepare because of the poison has not spread yet. But we have to keep a keen eye on her situation. This situation is very risky because………………….”
