“Mrs Halls, the end is coming! Sooner than we expected!” cruel grins followed.

“I was!” she immediately stood up at Mrs Halls’s voice.
“It's fine!. I need not know.” Mrs Halls halted her before she could even offer a word “Follow me!” she added and walked ahead of the young girl who immediately followed her from behind.
“Here we are, Nadia; in the girls' camp.” Mrs Halls paused in the corridor of the eighth floor “Four students per room!” she opens the door to an empty room which was very dusty and unkempt. It seemed like there was still much work to be done there and this feeling depressed the young girl on the spot.
“Holy heavens!” Mrs Halls exclaimed at the state of the room like she had no idea about it.
“Anyway, you won't stay in this room. Fortunately, I've reserved you a room with some of our most outstanding students. Trust me, you will like them!” she grinned maliciously and this terrified her.
“Please, Mrs Halls, I will clean the room myself! Please, I don't want to share a room” Nadia hesitated as she obstructed Mrs Halls’s path.
“No! You won't. You need to rapidly adapt to this new environment and leaving you alone isn't an option. More to that, that room needs a lot of arrangements!” Mrs Halls nudged her off her path and walked further while the young girl followed her with wet eyes begging.
Mrs Halls paused at another entrance. She opened a room and three girls were in. The girls immediately stood in reverence to Mrs Halls when they perceived her.
Mrs Halls was paused at door 102 “You will share this room with these three brilliant girls!. Also, it's one of the biggest rooms in the girls' camp. Isn't this marvellous?” Mrs Halls smiled at Nadia who was already panicking.
“Emily, I entrust to you her care; No silly jokes! No frivolous complaints!” Mrs Halls shrieked.
“Yes, Madam!” Emily smiled as the brilliant student Mrs Halls taught her. With that done, Mrs Halls left.
Unfortunately, the young girl’s faith was entrusted to the hands of her foes. Left alone in the lion's den.
The girls began to murmur, defying Nadia’s presence like she wasn't existing. However, it alleviated Nadia. That deep within her she entreated them to go on.
Frustrated, Nadia stood at the door for a while without knowing what to do. She later climbed the bed as indicated by Mrs Halls, with some freezes going down her spine. She laid in bed fretted and conjecturing all their horrible conspiring.
Yet the girls didn't mind Nadia’s presence in the room. It seemed they had something more important to do. Nadia, couldn't infer this. She tried heeding their conversation in vain and this irked her.
With so much apprehension, Nadia began to relieve tension. She opened her bag and took out a book. A book which was offered to her by Miss Helen and she began to read it. Nadia loved travelling in a world of fantasy as it was her only mode of distraction back at the orphanage that, turned to amusement. She loved the feelings provoked in her, by some good books; from the plot, the terror, the suspense, etc. As nothing mattered to her when she was plunged into her reads.
Regardless, this particular book was her favourite not only because it was offered to her by who she considered a mother, but also because she felt something especially like a bond whenever she read the book. “The coming of demons on earth” was the title of the book.
Suddenly, Emily seized the book from Nadia’s hands. This sudden break from her profound read seemed to Nadia like a pierce in her heart. “Wow, so orphans do read?” she turned to her friends and mocked. Then she flung the book on the ground and this shattered Nadia. “Girls, let's go!” Emily urged out her friend who instantly followed her like two sheep banging the door behind them.
Nadia ran down from her bed. She picked up the book and ran back to the bed to continue reading.
After a few minutes, she paused the reading when she decided to stroll around the campus and discover places. As soon as she stepped out, guests on who she fell?.
“Hey, you!” he halted her with his terrific voice and obstructed her path restraining her from moving. In fear, she leaned on the closed door with her heart throbbing rashly. Meanwhile, he comfortably placed his hand on the door barricading Nadia in-between him and the locked door.
“I have to go!” She utters with her trembling voice. “Don't be scared, I won't hurt you!” he gently caressed her jaw, slowly shoving her long ebony hair behind her ear. Then he removed her eyeglasses to fully contemplate her beauty. Indeed he found her particularly fascinating.
Nadia's eyes were closed at his steady touch. No one had ever moved her lenses or touched her in such ways before. This created a blend of feelings bewildering her. She finally opened her eyes as soon as he took his hands off her.
When she opened her eyes, her glance met that of Demond and she grinned. She felt comforted in his presence.
“Dem…!” she tried calling in vain. He bypassed her before she could voice out his name. “Did you just say something?” he raised a question at her incompleted shriek. “No!” she cried as her shoulders slumped, helplessly.
“She isn't terrible!” Zack, Demond’s friend exclaimed as soon as they bypassed Nadia. “Why does he lurks around such a low girl!” Demond exclaimed in fury though he battled to conceal it. “Hey men, it's Luther! And he does whatever he wants!” Zack recalled Demond as they walked away.
And Nadia couldn't glimpse at them anymore.
“Please, what do you want?” Cried, Nadia. “You!” Luther grinned cruelly. “Me?. How?” She wonders aloud. “Let me show you how!” he licked his lower lip with a grin on his face. It was gross as Nadia portray a face of nausea as if she was about to puke.
Then he near his mouth to kiss her. Nadia’s mind went blank as she forgot how to react. Her mouth began to salivate, not because of any sort of involvement, just her hormones in action.
Nadia turned to a feline as she impertinently waited on his lips to reach hers. She had always read such scenes in books and she was just about to testify it.
“What the hell is going on here!” Yelled Emile who had just arrived with her friends. Nadia shuddered at the sound of her irritating voice. “Nothing!” Nadia recklessly cried. “Seriously!. Do I look like a fool to you!” Emily walked close to Nadia and her eyes instantly turn green, her fans carved out.
Nadia began to breathe fast, covering her mouth with her hands so as not to scream the hell out of her. It was her first time seeing a human transforming.
She had no idea about such species and it terrified her. Also, guilt was burning deep inside of her as tears helplessly ran down her pale eyes.
Emily clutched her neck but Luther shoved her off. “Chill!” he yelled at Emily who was grating her teeth “Being an orphan isn't okay for you and now you want to be a b***h too?” Emily growled in fury with veins carving on her neck.
For a second time, she attempted to squeeze Nadia’s neck and Luther stopped her. Instead, he squeezed her neck as he tugged her to the wall “Calm down!” he yelled.
“You will pay for this orphan girl!” Cried, Emily as she struggled to catch a breath. “Don't mind her!” Luther murmured to Emily and a few seconds later, they began to kiss.
Nadia filled with shock, surprised and terrified of what Emily was capable of and can do to her, immediately ran away, in tears.
