~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Perverted Academy ~ ~ ~ ~ As soon as Nadia sat down, Mandy stood up to leave. “Don't be silly, you know you won't find another suitable table, we are unwanted people, we both know that!” Nadia wearily puffed in defeat. Mandy continued stretching her gaze left and right if she could find a space, to no avail. She knew Nadia was right, there was no other comfortable space than the one she is in. She frowned and then sat down, quietly staring at her tray. “I'm sorry about last time, the hostility towards me had clouded my judgements and reasoning at the time, but of course, it's no excuse for how I reacted towards you. I'm deeply sorry!” Nadia exclaimed but Mandy kept staring at her tray without saying a word. “It's like I'm in a perverted version of the world I come from. Here everyone is disgruntled and mean, meanwhile where I came from, people are jovial and welcoming. There, they teach us to love and respect ” she cried calling for Mandy’s attention. Nadia slightly arched towards Mandy’s eyes “Can you imagine this, I saw Emily partially transforming into an animal. OMG! It was damn terrifying” She whispered in fear as if it was a secret no one had to hear about. “Haha!. Do you have no idea?. So this means you are a human!” Mandy couldn't help but laugh at her, though she was trying so hard to ignore her. “It's fine, I forgive you” Mandy retorted with a heavy grin on her face. “And you don't have to whisper, everyone here knows that Emily is a she-wolf, Luther is a werewolf, his father is the alpha, around here. Demond is an ogre, Zack and Marcus are vampires, and I'm a fairy. What are you?”, everyone in this academy has his or her hidden gift. Nadia drops her jaw leaving her mouth open and her eyes froze as she listens to Mandy. She stays speechless like she hasn't heard the question. From Nadia’s puzzled reaction, Mandy could infer that “I guess you don't know your powers yet, but you must possess a gift, if not you won't have been here and you won't have been able to pass the spell cast at the Arian forest. Only creatures of darkness can see and enter the Arian forest” Mandy gives an enormous bite to her Sandwich with so much appetite giving it a crunchy feel, while Nadia is lost in thoughts and doesn't seem interested in the food. “It is believed that, about a hundred years ago, the greatest magician John Cowell cast a spell in the Arian forest to create a safe place for his family and for obscure creatures who were constantly maltreated by humans. So to date, no one has been able to raze the spell, but who will want to do that in the first place!” she gives another bite of her sandwich. “This is hell on earth!” Nadia cries “Hahaha! Sure!” Mandy laughed with her mouth filled. “Where am I?” Nadia kept on lamenting. “See!” Mandy shifted her tray by the side then she took out a notebook and a pencil from her bag “This circle is the planet on which we are and which can sustain life. Contrary to what you were thought in the human world, not only humans live on this planet.” she lifted her stare up to Nadia to check if she was following up. “Creatures like us are found at the four centres of the earth, though humans can't see the gates leading to our world. Now, this is our country Corovania, as she sketches, and it is said that it's only in this country that obscure creatures are cohabitated .” Mandy stopped at Nadia’s voice “But I have never heard of such a thing.!” Nadia said “It's normal, you grew up in an orphanage and more to that, humans are trying to erase all our traces. Unfortunately, here we are, alive and active. The best of it all is that the Arian forest is believed to be at the centre of the earth, though I don't understand why the gates only lead to the Corovania country. Perhaps many other gates are leading to different parts of the world. Isn't it exciting” Mandy blushed with excitement. “This is only if the Arain is actually at the centre of the world!” “Now, where we are! We are in the Arian forest. The Arian forest is divided into four Kingdoms that is, the North-West ruled by King Lucas, North-East by King Solomon, the South-West by King Abel and the South-East where we are by King Daniel and he is the smartest and youngest king who succeeded his father a few years ago. All these kings have been living in peace and all four kings are obscure creatures.” “So if I hear you well, our King is Daniel?” “Yes, you are right and this school, Perverted Academy, is found at the heart of the South-East kingdom on a hill called Varamzin!” Mandy gaily explains. “Why the name Perverted Academy?” Nadia wandered. “Hahaha, I was waiting for this question. Perverted simply because we are outcasts in the normal world and possess supernatural attributes and we aren't like any ordinary youths found in the human world. We are perverted!” she whispered as she looks into Nadia’s eyes. “Are you okay now?” Mandy asked. “So I'm not more on earth right?” she asked with her face filled with terror. “Hahaha, we’re on earth but in another dimension of it, let me say it this way.” Mandy fixed her stare on her “Wow!. This is so much information for one day.” she feels sick. Mandy kept her pencil but Nadia seized the page on which Mandy sketched, and she kept it in her pocket while Mandy continue to finish her food. “How can I get out of this place?” Nadia breaks the silence with her low tone filled with hope. “You can't!” Mandy killed the atom of hope she had. “There is always a way and I will find it. I want to leave this place, I want a normal life; get married, have kids, have a good job and do all those things normal people do. Please help me find a way out of this hell” Nadia insists. “It's Impossible!. And even if you successfully get out of the academy, which is still impossible in the first place, you will surely get lost in this vast Arian forest. To do this you need to find someone who has a good Mastery of the Arian forest and certainly I'm not that person.” She stopped eating. “I want to take the risk of going to the Arian forest!” Nadia keeps insisting. “It's not as simple as you think, I have always heard of the gate leading to the Coronavia country but I have never seen it. I don't even know what it looks like!” Mandy “Will you join me or not?. You just spoke about several gates surrounding the Arian Forest, don't you want to explore them?” Nadia “Sorry, I can't. I don't want any trouble with Mrs Halls.” Mandy was tempted yet she flinched. “I knew it!” Nadia leaned back on her chair very disappointed. She didn't even bother to hide her disappointment and that made Mandy feel bad. If there's anything Mandy ever wanted, was to explore the unknown and the Arian forest was her first take. But being a constant witness of Mrs Hall’s anger, Nadia’s dismal glance was nothing compared to what Mrs Halls could do. Mandy fixed her gaze on Nadia… Who is looking all furious “Why are your eyes, swollen” Mandy wonders aloud while touching Nadia's face? “I didn't sleep all night, Emily pushed me out through the window and she locked me in the balcony. The place was narrow, I couldn't sleep the whole night because of the attitude and the fear to fall into the space!” her voice was still tumbling with fear when she explained. “Oh hell! I'm sorry about that. You can take a nap with me this evening. Though it's not acceptable!” Mandy tries to help as she can. “You see why I have to leave this place,? Everyone here hates me and the worst is, I don't know what I have done to them!” she frowns. “Hey, b***h!” Emily approached Nadia and then pours her Juice on Nadia’s hair then she flings the plastic bottle on her and exits with a huge smile of satisfaction on her face. While Nadia was practically crying while running to the toilet. Mandy followed her. They both enter the toilet. Mandy brings some tissue to help Nadia wipe her hair, “How are you!” she asks while wiping Nadia's hair. “How do you think I am! Don't be stupid!” she flinched from Mandy’s touch. “Hey! I'm simply trying to help, okay?. If you need someone to pour your aggression on, Guess what? Emily is still seated in the canteen.” Mandy flings the tissue paper in the can and she turns to leave. “My bad!. Please don't go. I'm just mad at the world right now!” and you happen to be in it. Tears helplessly rush down her eyes “I hate Emily, I hate this school and I have to leave before they destroy me!” she cried. “You will be fine, for now just clean yourself. We need to get ready for our next class.” Mandy helps her wipe herself. “I don't care about the next class, they can all go to hell!” she screams the hell out of her. “We’re in hell already, you said it a few minutes ago.” Mandy teases her “No, I don't mean this hell. I mean the real hell, that is where they should all go” she barely grinned with tears effortlessly rushing down her chin... Suddenly, she hugged Mandy whispering “Thank you!”. Mandy widened her stare in shock and this renders her speechless. “Emily will pay for all these humiliations.” Nadia paths off the hug with so much rage that her eyes turn bloody red for a fraction of a second and it turned back to normal. Mandy gets excited but the action is so fast that she couldn't get Nadia’s attention on time. “Did you want to say something?” Nadia wonders aloud as Mandy unexpectedly got excited. “I just thought of something. It's fine, never mind.” she gives up.
