"You better cut that girl loose or are you a coward?" - Daniel Caesar
『★』『★』『★』
☞ HONESTLY this movie was boring. We were watching Cinderella but man it was slow. I kept glancing over at Xandria since she kept laughing at something.
When she looked at me, I mouthed a "What?" She pointed to Catrina who was literally drooling and fast asleep. I hid my giggle and looked over at Angeline who winked at me and pretended to fall asleep. She was acting like some sort of Cupid.
I don't know why but if it gets me out of this boring movie. Xandria slowly moved and got up, Catrina still not moving an inch. "Come on, this movie is boring." She held her hand out for me to take it. And I would be lying if I said I didn't take it.
I took it, getting up. We headed outside of the theater, I looked back at Angeline one more time and she held her thumb up. I giggled and looked up at Xandria. "What?" She asked, closing the door quietly.
I shrugged. "I just- it's nothing." I said, she hummed and didn't even let go of my hand. "What do you want to do?" I asked her, she shrugged. "Let's go up to your room. And talk." I nodded.
We were going in my room...maybe even on my bed. f**k what was I doing? I know we weren't going to do anything inappropriate. But still, I've never heard of her doing this with anyone else. We walked upstairs to my room, she held the door open for me and let me get in, closing the door behind me.
She didn't lock it though. I sat on my bed, and so did she. "I could see you looked bored." She said, I nodded, looking around my room then at her. "Yeah it's a very boring movie. I'm more of an action movie, Ryan Reynolds type girl." I said, smiling and shrugging.
Xandria chuckled. "Of course you are. Don't make fun of me, but I do love Harry Potter." She said, I was shocked. She seemed like she never watched tv. "Why do you look so shocked?" She asked, smirking.
"Well because I just never saw you as the type to watch tv." I said, she chuckled. "What else do you think of me? Aside from the tv and the bitchiness."
I couldn't tell her I thought she was hot, or sexy. Or that she made me want to open my legs for her on the spot. "Hm, I think you are very funny, you can definitely be sweet."
She tilted her head, smirking at me. "Yeah?" She asked. I nodded. I think she was leaning in, I mean but so was I. Our faces were inching so close to one another. "Should we really be doing this?" I asked once our faces were too close. "Do you want to be doing this?" She asked me.
I stayed quiet. "I can't do that to Catrina." I said, pulling back. She sighed. "I understand, let's forget it happened." She smiled. "It's already forgotten." I said.
"I'm actually gonna go to bed, it's been a long and tiring day." She said, I almost frowned but I didn't. She stood up and walked to the door. "Tomorrow morning, come by my office, for lunch."
I smiled and nodded. She sighed and left my room, closing the door behind me. I heard chattering, which I thought was Xandria and Angeline but it was arguing. I stood up, hearing Catrina talking to her.
"We didn't do anything." I heard Xandria say annoyed. We almost did. "I know you're lying. You're a f*****g liar is what you are." Catrina said, I opened the door just a tiny so there was a little crack. "You want to ask her? Do you not trust me or her or something? Who do I look like to you?"
Catrina huffed. "You're a liar. Ever since I made you apologize, you just can't seem to stay away from her. Do we want to talk about what happened the last time something like this happened? Hm? Do I need to call my dad on you?"
I frowned, Xandria sighed, shaking her head. "No. There's nothing going on between us. I honestly just find her company. She's a good person to talk to. You know that. Don't let her see that side of you. Lord knows how fake you are." Xandria said.
Catrina smiled. I pretended like I had just gotten to the door, and opened it. "Oh." I said. "Maeve, hi. Tomorrow night I actually need you cleaning up our room, I know you've never done that but I'd like you to do that, if that's no problem."
I nodded, looking over at Xandria. "I'm going to bed, honey don't wait long." Catrina winked, she looked at me and smiled. Xandria looked down at me. "Why'd you come out?" She asked.
"I needed water." I said, speaking small. She hummed. "I'll get it for you if you want." She told me, I smiled and shook my head. "No thank you."
I couldn't stop thinking about how she said this has happened before. Who was this person. What happened to her? As I passed Xandria that's all I thought about, like I actually spaced out I forgot I was going downstairs, as I was about to take the first step, Xandria grabbed my waist.
I gasped. "You were gonna fall. You weren't paying attention." She said, I gulped when I felt her hand around my waist. "Thank you." I mumbled. She smiled against my ear. "You're welcome." She whispered.
I didn't want her to let me go, I wanted her to told me tightly. And gladly she didn't let me go. We just stayed like this. "This isn't a good idea." She whispered in my ear.
I nodded. "It really isn't." I said, she chuckled against my ear and I shivered. "But for some reason, I want to kiss you and so much more." She said.
I gulped, I wanted to tilt my head more for her, so she would start kissing my neck. But I made no effort. She tightened her grip, pulling my against her more. "Tomorrow. My office."
"And to be specific, my work office. Where no one disturbs me." She smirked and let me go. I felt like I couldn't breathe. I start headed back to my bedroom and she chuckled. "What about your water?"
"Oh. Uhm I'm not that thirsty." Oh I was, just not for water. She shook her head and chuckled. "Good night beautiful." She said.
"Good night." I got in my room and closed the door. What the hell? I had so many questions running through my head. What the f**k just happened?
Did I not seen the signs of her being attracted to me? Was she? f**k. I laid on my bed, groaning.
I just know sleep won't be an option.
