Sinful Desires

It’s said that humans destroyed the earth in more ways than one. Oh don’t get me wrong earth is still around and still habitable. Humans have ravaged the planet for thousands of years with pollution, causing global warming, over population and war. Oh yeah the W.A.R word. War seemed to be in human nature. We’ve always fought and died for our own reason and for the reasons of others. Earth has seen many wars but nothing like World War 3. It ravaged the planet and shook it to its core. While people in Washington were fighting about how to keep Donald Trump out of office for so many reasons I can’t remember. Once Democrats took over things really changed they began trying to take away the freedom people were born with and there right to protect themselves. Them more the Democrats tried to take control the angary people got. Over the course of four years Democratic rule was dominate over the country. In that four years crime sky rocketed over eighty percent. Illegal immigrants were given a free pass to do whatever they wanted, remember when I said that crime sky rocketed over eighty percent well seventy five percent of that eighty percent was all done by illegal immigrants who were given a free pass so long as they voted Democrat of course. The rest of that crime done by the American people history says it was because they were violent for no reason however when you take a deeper look at it you can see it was really just people trying to protect themselves because the government refused to do it. Different factions were created and all of them claimed to protect. Very few actually did. It was very clear a second civil war was brewing. The Republicans mostly did nothing but try to block anything and everything anyone was trying to do including those who actually wanted to help people. The Democrats said that they were in charge not the people and the people didn’t tell them what to do they were the ones who gave the orders now. This caused a massive uproar in the country and soon it was the People verses The Government. The Democrats called for war on those who refused to bow down to them which was pretty much the entire county at that point and tried to start a second civil war. Other countries took the opportunity of The United States fighting with itself and pressed a big red button and sent nuclear missiles into different places and when they got wind of the attack The United States fired back just as quickly and World War 3 was on. It didn’t last long and no one won. That happened five hundred years ago now. The world is now safe and the radiation is gone however people still don’t go in those areas, still afraid of the danger it could pose. Everyone was so consumed with fighting each other when they should have been fighting something else. Well many something else’s. In the ashes of World War 3 they came. First the dragons, who had been in hiding for many years came back into the light. Yes the fire breathing myths of the Middle Ages are in fact real. They had gotten tired of hiding and let the world know they were still there. Werewolves were quick to come out as well, pushing and shoving people into submission and if you don’t submit, well I’m sure you can guess but if you can’t, put simply they killed them. Werewolf’s are beasts and when they become men they don’t act much different. They will walk into a town grab whoever they want and either take them or kill them. On a rare occasion they will grab a woman strip her naked and f**k her right in front of everyone and no they don’t usually ask and the women aren’t always willing. Or so I’ve heard. I’ve never seen it happen. There are some werewolf packs that don’t do that and even give some humans sanctuary. I’m sure there are many, many rules that come with it though, After that it was the vampires they came in and ripped family’s apart and feeding on the survivors. Vampires real f*****g blood drinking beast. Not the sweet, naughty, sexy, sparkling creatures you read about in books. I’m talking about the cold uncaring beasts that look like human’s only paler meaner and will rip out your f*****g throat if you so much as look at them the wrong way. They claimed most of the East Coast and the Midwest of The United States within a few years. There are sections of their territory. What used to be states were now kingdoms and one King ruled them all. I live in vampire territory and no, it’s not f*****g fun either. Vampire’s claimed they will protect us from all the other supernatural beast all we have to do is pay them. That protection is only to a certain extent at least where I live it is. I live in a town not a city not that it matters to the wolves if they want you they’ll get you one way or another and dragons well they can fly. If you want to travel you do it at your own peril and don’t have any thoughts on being saved by anyone. Because if your dumb enough to go out and wonder around your dumb enough to die. I mean it’s really stupid people who do that but it’s not like people can afford to hire protection. Vampires get most of the money where I live. I live with my dad, my twin brother and my younger sister. It’s just the three of us now. My mom was killed by vampires. They demanded payment and she refused to give it to them so she could by us food. That didn’t sit well with the vampires and we found her after we got home from a walk before dinner we found her with her throat ripped out. Vampires just do as they please and they expect us to pay them for protection when that protection only goes so far if it goes anywhere at all. I wanted revenge I ran out of the house with the intention of hunting down the vampires who had done that to her. They didn’t have to kill her. They could have just walked away and waited until the next collection like they always do. But no, they killed her. I hate them I hate them all and I want them all dead. Brad is the one who stopped me. My twin brother stopped me before I found a vampire and attacked them, he didn’t want to lose me to. It’s been five years since that day my baby sister Mya was just a baby when my mother died she has no memories of her at all. I was sixteen at the time. My dad was so heart broker he stopped working for a time and whenever the collection came he refused to pay saying we had nothing and that they had taken all we had. I remember the last time they came and I knew that wasn’t true by the way they looked at me. Everyone had to pay at some point it didn’t matter if it was money or a person. Payment would be taken one way or another. I walked through town with what little money I made working for the main store in town. It wasn’t much but it kept a little food I could buy with it on the table. Brad gets brave every once in a while and goes hunting in the woods. One time he managed to bring back a deer. He helped feed everyone on our street then everyone brought a little something and we ate like kings or it felt like it anyway. I miss those times it seems the older I get the worse everything seems. I pick out a few items and place them on the counter. Ricki didn’t even bother looking at me as he placed the items in a bag. I offered him the money I had. “It’s not enough.” “What do you mean it’s not enough?” I asked “It’s the same stuff as last time. It’s all the same price.” “It’s not enough” he repeated “Collection day is coming up.” “Oh and you don’t think I need to worry about that?” “Pay the extra or get out.” “This isn’t about money?” I asked “It’s about me turning you down. Do your parents know your shaking down customers and lining your own pockets?” “You f*****g bitch.” “Ricki a kid just knocked over a display take care of it. Now” “This ain’t over b***h” Ricki walked away. I eyed the bag and looked around. We need it so I grabbed it and left the store as fast as I could and headed home. I didn’t like stealing but sometimes you just had to in order to survive. Also Ricki has been an asshole to me since I turned him down when he asked me out.
