Alexandria glanced up at me and forced a more seductive expression on her face, "Oh of course not, dear. I was just coming to check on the council in here...see if they needed anything."
My face continued to show the hatred I felt for all of them, not believing one bit that Alexandria didn't have an ulterior motive for being in this room with the council, who had literally told me a few days ago that i needed to choose her as my Queen. I didn't respond to her and just waited to see what other excuses she would come up with if I just stayed calm and patient.
