I sat in my seat next to the council area, shocked by what had been just decided. How could they believe I would do such a thing on my own accord... I would never, I thought as I sat there amidst all the chaos in the courtroom. If only we had that woman here to testify about what she did. What am I going to do now?! I can't be taken away from my family again. I can't lose my baby again like I did the twins...it will DESTROY me!
"Mom! Mom!" Julien was yelling as he tried to get to where I was sitting. There were a few council warriors standing in front of the seats for guests of the courtroom, and they were holding him back until I was released from the court.
I looked up at that moment that I heard my son say "owww" and tried to force some sort of emotion on my face
