It's the day of the trial, a couple of weeks after we got the visit from the Alpha couple of Moonclaw. The Alpha going against his Luna and getting the information made us incredibly lucky since we now have enough of a testimony to hopefully keep Laila from getting too harsh of a punishment.
"What do you think they will do to mom?" Julien asked from the seat beside me.
I looked over at him, then towards the other side at Jasper and shrugged my shoulders a bit before looking ahead at the podium for the council judge, "I'm honestly not sure what they will do. We have enough evidence to prove that she didn't do it of her own free will, but your mom still k****d someone...and not just anyone, but someone who was a guest of the pack...someone who was an ally of Moon
