I woke up to Charlotte happily sleeping in my arms. The excitement and happiness coursing through mine and my wolf's body almost made me forget about all the terrible things that occurred only the night before. I lifted up slightly and read the clock, seeing that it was already around ten in the morning and I soon realized that the suite seemed awfully quiet for it to be this late in the morning. Normally, the family would all be at either training, Alpha, or Luna duties by now; however, our whole family was obviously excused from those things for at least a day considering the trial and its verdict against my mom. I should at least be hearing Julien in his room watching television, I thought with suspicion and confusion building in my mind and body. Or he would at least
