All these time he was trying to make himself believe that he hated you for reasons he could barely understand himself. But at that moment, seeing you on that state--. He couldn't take it. He just couldn't bare to see you like that, he wished it was him feeling your pain instead. Back when he was sick, he was always afraid of the pain that would suddenly come overpowering him but if feeling that torment once more means making you feel better? Then he would gladly take it. He was now seated on the chair outside your hospital room because Taehyung said he wanted to go in first. Alone. That made Jungkook furious, and sad at the same time. He knew of your relationship with Taehyung, or so he had assume. Seeing this side of Taehyung only assured him that he was right. But he didn't want this. He didn't want to see how close you both are, he didn't need that. But right now, that was not the only thing that was ruining his mind. He let out a deep sigh clasping his fingers together as he pressed the knuckles on his forehead remembering what the doctor had said. "Broken Heart Syndrome," the doctor had told Jungkook and Taehyung earlier, he was looking at him since Taehyung's eyes where on his feet giving Jungkook the sense that the older already knew about this condition of yours. "Also called Takotsubo Cardiomyopathy where the heart muscles suddenly became weakened and the left ventricle enlarges, this is cause by intense stress and distress over an experience. It should not be taken lightly since someone with this syndrome could actually die from heart attack." "You had her heart broken." Taehyung's words repeated inside his head like a broken CD player. Over and over again making him want to scream in frustration. Was it really his fault? . . . But he had no choice that time. They told him that he'll be cured, and that he will no longer feel that pain again. All he had to do was to take over the business his deceased older brother was suppose to inherit. He could finally be with you forever. That was what he was thinking. That was his goal. But suddenly three years went by too fast, he was chained with the decisions he had made out of desperation to get better, chained by the debt he has for his parents who made him went through tests and medications which caused millions just to get him better. It worked. But now he's burdened by the responsibilities he had on his shoulders. He thought maybe you wouldn't move on that fast, and that he still would have a chance to find you and reclaim you again. It was selfish. Yes. But you're the only girl for him and he thought he was the only one for you. But it turned out that it wasn't that way. Is it? "She's still sleeping," Taehyung's voice pulled Jungkook out of his deep thoughts darting his eyes up to meet the elder's, "I'm going back to the hotel to check on Junghee. You could–, ugh, check on her. Call me fast as soon as she wakes up." Jungkook didn't even had enough time to reply since Taehyung was already walking away. So Junghee is his name. Strange how the kid's name resembled his. — You're pale. Why do you look so pale? He sat on the chair beside your bed staring intently on you memorizing your every detail which was the very thing that he always does back then. Your beauty never faded. The thick long lashes on your eyelids, the cute nose he loves to kiss, the pinkish red lips that looked so soft– All were the same. But also different. You've become matured. Your aura at least have matured, it gave Jungkook the feeling of how life must have given you a tough fight and it made his heart sad knowing that he wasn't even there with you. Slowly you opened your eyes only to meet his and you saw how his dark orbs went big seeing you finally awake. "Y/N—." "Are you still cold?" Was the first thing that escaped from your mouth. Why the hell would you ask about how he's doing when you're the one laying on the hospital bed?! It made him mad. Not at you, but somehow to himself. "I'm going to get the doctor," he said with urgency but you were fast to grip on his shirt. "I'm okay now," you said smiling, "this happens from time to time, you shouldn't have brought me here." "Are you crazy?" He was scolding you and it made you smile a little knowing that he actually cared. "They're just gonna say that I should take this medication and that I shouldn't stress too much and so on. Same old, same old." Sure thing, what you had said happened and the doctor finally released you from the hospital. — "I told you to call me when she wakes up," Taehyung said as he stood by the threshold of your suite. His gaze was piercing as he stared at Jungkook behind you. "I'm here now Tae, no need to overreact, can I get in now?" you said. "Over--react? You could have died Y/N." "You're being too loud." "Mommy!" The tiny happy voice of Junghee echoed from behind Taehyung and soon enough the kid came rushing towards you. Your face lit up into a smile as you scooped your son up and kissed his cheeks. The kid's attention was behind you though as you snuggled him. Jungkook looked at the kid on your arms. Staring back at Junghee as the kid extended his hand for him. It made his heart flutter fast on his chest. Something about this kid made him drawn to. The boy smiled,-- dark round orbs sparkled. Now that Jungkook finally had the chance to really look at the boy, he realized something. The boy looked somehow familiar in some ways. It's weird. Jungkook couldn't help but smile back at the kid, he's way too adorable to ignore. [A/N: I feel like crying, he's so beautiful it's unbelievable!
