Gareth whispered in my ear, "You can open your eyes now, wife," as he stood behind me.
My husband gave me specific instructions to keep my eyes shut. He planned for me to have a pleasant surprise when I arrived at our "home."
After opening my eyes, I looked around to see what was going on. In my line of sight was a contemporary home with two stories. Although I don't want to think too far ahead, I can tell you that, apart from this house, all of the other houses are only a few meters apart from one another.
