I Want My Love Back

Our Rija is a strong girl.

“Ahhh, this girl! She should have at least had dinner with us.”, Valda was sad and upset.

“Calm down honey, she is a grown up girl now, she knows how to take care of herself. And James and Rose are with her. You don’t burden yourself and rest assured.”, said Pablo while trying to coax Valda.

Dan raised his eyebrows when he heard Pablo saying it, he thought in his heart, ‘Man wasn’t it you who had been scolding Rija for leaving alone.’. But just to give him face and to save Rija from extra worry he said to Valda, “Pablo is right. Calm down Valda, Rija is a sensible girl, and she surely knows how to take care of herself.”.

“I am worried for her because she is a girl. You know how dark and evil our society is. What if something happened to her?”, Valda said with worry.

“Now where did that come from. How can you say you are worried about her because she is a girl? You know I hate people who prefer boys over girls. Our Rija is a strong girl. And tell who in the whole city will dare to hurt Pablo Tyler’s granddaughter.”, Pablo scolded her.

“I didn’t mean that. You know very well I never looked down on our Rija, but she is still young. I know people will not dare to touch her because of you but there are some people who are waiting to find your weakness to destroy you. What if they use her?”, Valda panicked.

Pablo and Dan looked at Valda like they were looking at a strange thing.

“Geez Valda which stupid movie you have just seen. Do you really think they are anyone who is daring enough to go against Taylor Family? And if you really are that concerned then I have a solution for it. By doing it I can guarantee you no one in the whole city even the whole country will dare to hurt Rija.”, Dan said with an expression like he is in deep thought.

“What is it?”, Valda asked quickly.

“Simply let her marry my grandson, Adam. Then she will be part of Tylers and Millers' families. If there is someone daring enough to challenge Taylors, they won’t be brave enough to go against both Taylors and Millers.”, Dan said with pride and confidence.

Valda and Pablo both looked at each other like they were annoyed by what Dan just said.

“Stop using your useless tricks to fool us. I already told you I already told you to give me some time I will talk to Rija about it. Can’t you just wait for a little till I give you an answer”, Pablo said with a grumpy face, he didn’t like it when Dan tries to snatch his granddaughter from him. He isn’t planning to make Rija wed soon. He still wants to spend some time with her and let her feel family warmth before she gets married.

Although Valda had asked him to arrange a wedding for Rija so she can feel how it feels to be with a family he doesn’t think so. He thinks that no matter how nice the guy he finds for Rija that guy can’t give her family love alone. And he doesn’t think that in-laws can give Rija that warmness. After all, in-laws are not her true family. He is afraid that she will not be able to experience family love even if she gets married so he must give it to her.

Dan cleared her throat with guilt and murmured, “I was just giving you a suggestion.”.

“Okay Okay! both of you stop it. Let’s just concentrate on food”, Valda said to end this topic.

Pablo and Dan both nodded and started eating quietly.

Now all three of them are eating while randomly talking. Suddenly Dan stopped eating and started touching his lips then suddenly he became red and was facing difficulty in breathing, “Oh Crap”, Dan said with great difficulty.

“Pablo, I think something is wrong with Dan?”, Valda said with concern.

“Dan … Dan! What is happening to you buddy?”, exclaimed Pablo anxiously.

“Pablo he can’t breathe. Ah, his tongue is swelling.”, Valda cried while looking at Dan anxiously.

“Wait, who cooked the food? What’s in it?”, Pablo asked anxiously.

Valda realized what Pablo means, and she became anxious, “No, it can’t be I have ordered the staff to not use eggs in anything.”, then she looked at the servants and ordered, “Go call the chef quickly.”.

Pablo interrupted, “No, we don’t have time for it. His symptoms are the same.”, then he looked at the servants and ordered, “Quickly help him, take him to the car carefully, and you go and ask the driver to prepare the car quickly.”.

Valda said anxiously, “I will call Maria.”.

“Ok tell her that we are taking him to the city hospital. It’s the nearest hospital from here.”, Pablo replied to her while walking towards the entrance with the servants who were carefully taking Dan out.

Valda looked around then she asked one of the servants to bring her mobile. The servant quickly handed over the mobile to Valda.

Valda quickly dialled Maria’s number; the call was answered after two ringing tones. Before the other party could say anything, Valda started talking anxiously, “Hello Maria!”.

“Hi, Valda. Call called at this hour, is everything ok? Did Pablo and Dan have a fight again?”, Maira asked calmly.

“No … no … it’s not that. Dan … something happened to Dan. Come to the City hospital quickly.”, Valda said anxiously.

“What can happen to him?”, Maria became anxious.

“I don’t know. It looks like an allergic reaction, but I promise Maria, there was no egg in the food. Every servant of our house knows that Dan is allergic to eggs. They never used egg when he comes.”, Valda explained everything to Dan’s wife.

“What? Allergic reaction? How could it be? I know Valda you won’t make such a mistake. I will be at City hospital please take care of him.”, Maria replied.

“Don’t worry we are on our way to the hospital. He will be fine. Be safe on your way.”, said Valda to calm Maira while seeing the car in which servants had carefully placed Dan leaving the Taylor Villa's territory.

“Hmm Ok. I’ll be there.”, Maria said and then hung up the phone.

Valda then told Pablo, “Don’t worry Pablo, I’ve informed Maria. She is coming here.”.

A car stopped in front of them, and a servant opened the passenger seat door for them.

“Ok let’s go we should leave too.”, Pablo said to Valda while helping her sit inside the car.

They both sat inside the car and left. On their way to the hospital, Pablo called the hospital and asked them to prepare everything.
