Chapter 10

I knew Julian and his pig headed self would try to devalue my case that was a given. Thankfully, I told the cheif first that this is the reason I was still able to still investigate the reason for my dreams.

First, I called his friend in that area where my people were displaying these evil traits. He was curious why I was calling again, but I just let him know I was the one who discovered this problem, and I knew more about the situation. He basically told me the same thing he told shithead but it's what he didn't say that made me wonder. He was elusive. When I asked him about the tribe in question, he said he really couldn't say if there were problems of the tribe being territorial. When I asked him if they had been at their last gathering again, he couldn't remember.

He was omitting information, and that was not smart. If he thought he could get rid of me like that, he had another thing coming pretending there was nothing going on, only made me want to find out more.

I guess off too blank to see for myself. Getting the boss to approve me to travel alone was going to be tricky. I told him Julian needed to give his time to another case on our case load. It worked, and the next day, I was to see first hand what was going on with this tribe.
