The night has started and the crowd seems to become more in number, people from the lime light, the politics and the elite are gathered, the warm and classic vibe of the party seemed to relax Amary a bit despite being at the possible enemy’s den.

“Justin, you know him?” she suddenly asked,

“Yeah, he’s sort of my childhood friend but when I transferred to study in London for my pharmacy major we kind of like a bit distant, but that is what growing up causes you right?” she chuckled at me,

“He’s my ex-boyfriend, my father learned about us, I might have been quite a wild child but speak about romance, a lot of guys were linked to me but sadly most of them are seriously just my friends, very close one, but Justin we were together in secret for about five years” she sipped from the champagne glass and looked at Justin who was about 9’oclock from our direction,

“Who would’ve known that I would fall in love? I was training, my abilities, shooting, martial arts, my body doesn’t seem like a fighter but it can fight, with this” she pointed at her brain,

“You still love him?” I asked,

“Do you ever unlove someone?” she asked,

Her question made me feel like I had to reflect over the smallest details of my romantic life, from the day I fell in love with Regine and to the day I cheated on her then the day she spit Chinese s**t to me and broke up with me,

Damn it,

“Can you answer your own question because seriously, I mean I guess my ex-girlfriend hates me with every fiber in her body” I chuckled,

“She hates you because she loves, she hated that she loves you yet you hurt her, damn Linden, it isn’t like your break up with your ex-girlfriend wasn’t a big trend” she rolled her eyes and gave me a sarcastic smile,

“Okay, okay, now answer your own question, do you unlove someone?” she looked at me and paused,

“You will always love the ones that you loved, it is just that, that love is was buried under a new emotion, it could be in your case, guilt? And in my case? Anger.” Sipping another from her champagne glass,

“Damn, you’ve got a good point” I took a deep breath realizing all the bad s**t I did when I was still in a relationship,

“Look who’s reflecting now” she chuckled as she patted my back,

“Huh, are you reading my mind?” I picked a bit sized cupcake served at each cocktail tables,”

“Look, speaking of the devil” Amary said, and there emerged Regine, her beautiful face, brown skin, natural curly hair, pink lips, thick eye lashes and brows,

She smiled at the crowd in her short silver dress,

“Do I see a drool over here?” Amary pointed at my lips,

“HA HA, funny” Regine caught me and Amary chuckling and I unexpectedly removed Amary’s hand,

“Well, you’re free to approach her James, we are still under our hundred days agreement,” I took a deep breath,

“You know what, you’re right, we never un-love a person, instead, it really is being buried with another emotion, and Amary, I like you, I really do, despite of all the s**t we are being thru these days, let me approach Regine, because she’s a good friend at the very least” I smiled at her, she looked taken back of my words,

Damn I was taken back of my words,

“Damn that was sweet James” Levi teased,

She rolled her eyes and shooed me away, “I will be back, my muse” I winked at her and she totally rolled her eyes at me,

I approached Regine, well, it has been two years since we last saw each other,

“James” she looked at me,

“Reg”

“Well, I did expect to see you here, congratulations in your engagement” she retorted, she roamed her eyes as if she was looking for Amary,

I looked at Amary and I signaled her to approach me, Amary approached us,

“Yes babe?” I suddenly felt cold as Amary’s hands snaked to my waist and gave me a kiss on the cheek,

“Ugh, em, Amary, this is Regine, my ex-girlfriend who is a good friend as well,” Amary extended her hand and Regine replied as they shook their hands,

“It is nice to finally meet you, well you’ve got a womanizer at the palm of your hands” Regine making me take a deep deep breath,

“Ha ha, erm, well, James has changed we have actually just met for what?” she looked at me and then to Amary, “You just have to be wild enough to pin someone down” she winked at me and I looked at Reg’s face who she knows she is the somehow boring kind of girlfriend which in no offense she was, widened her eyes and chuckled,

“Ha ha, well, I guess I will leave you two alone, there’s plenty of room at this mansion,” Regine teased,

“Well, we just might use one” Amary gave her a bragging smirk that made Regine roll her eyes and walk away,

“HA HA HA,” Amary said sarcastically,

“She was beautiful though, why cheat?” she asked me,

“You know, men are primal, as much as I loved her there came a time that my needs were kind of at the peak, I was in Paris” I winked at her now she’s rolling her eyes on me,

“Well, she was in China for about three months and we were together for about three years already, in fact despite that by the time her parents asked her to go back to China she has not introduced me at all to her parents. We were illegal, I guess just like you and Justin, but I was ready to fight for her, her family may think I am very rich and quite suitable for a good family and business but their family ties as Chinese is way more important than money. Although I have adored that, love is not just a one way lane, it has to be both of us who wants it, I was ready for her, more than actually, and even by the first week of our relationship she already told me many things that I believe are related to her and her culture. But you know, it is the 21’st century and I am not really the old type of guy but I waited because she asked me to, I waited because I love her, but you know in that three months that she was in China she was announced to be marrying this Chinese guy and I did not even hear any warning,”

“Any announcement from her” she cut me off and her face looked sad,

“I was in Paris the day they announced it, she did not even gave me a call but she was having a party, she was using her phone, I was calling her and of course I had friends there and they totally saw her ignoring my calls.” I drank the glass of champagne straight,

“Easy there,” Levi commented,

“Let’s sit there,” she pointed at the swing quiet and a bit far from the crowd,

“Sure” we walked to the swing and sat there,

“Look at those people, all not worthy of our attention, just imagine the amount of people a while ago who approached us, congratulated us for our engagement but did any single person in that crowd ever asked if we’re happy? How are we? These people does not give a s**t about us”

“Justin, he was paid by my father”

“What? Justin was kind of rich right?” I was quite shook to know,

“Paid in a way of investment, my father will invest to their business if he will stop his feelings for me and well he chose the other side” she looked at the floor,

I just cannot stop being sad for such a beautiful face,

“Raven, my Regine’s best friend told me that Regine never really genuinely loved me, she took those three years with me for the sole purpose of fame and leisure” I chuckled remembering those days,

“But then as I told you, I was in Paris the day she partied after the announcement of her engagement, I was badly hurt, got drunk and you know, f****d someone else, she learned about it and then flew to Paris the next day,”

“Oh s**t,” Amary retorted,

“Well, she told me that she was just trying to play the plot but you know someone who as you said ‘genuinely’ loves you will not make you go through that kind of pain, she broke up with me and married the guy sooner than we know it, then they got divorced”

“Well, there’s those people who does not value marriage”

“Do you?” I asked,

“My father’s judgement is straightforward, I may not know the real reason why he chose you but I will trust his judgement, I value marriage because of the love my mother and father had, but you know things maybe a bit difficult to accept once you already know the story behind every pain, it is just that we have to play this life with our mind” she pointed at her head, then to her chest, “and our heart”

“You know what?” I stood up feeling energetic,

“Let’s go dance” I heard ‘Something Just Like This’ by Chainsmokers play as the crowd gathered for a short dance,

I grabbed her hand as we danced through the music, feeling her vibe,

I watched her shimmied herself to the music,

She looked at me and gave me a kiss on the cheek,

“Can you be my slave?” she asked,

“Then shall you be mine?” I replied kissing her left ear,

“Yes” I smirked,

Just as we were about to kiss a punch quite hard landed on my face, “Hey yoh, what the f**k?!” I looked at my attacker, Justin,

“How dare you mate? How dare you steal her?” she looked very angry and frustrated, probably drunk,

“I did not steal her? Her father handed her to me!” he stopped his senses Amary approached me with her angered face looking back at Justin,

“Are you insane Justin?” she looked at me cupping my face,

The crowd was looking at us, I did realized that just a few minutes ago before things got a bit heated up senator Cedric was actually having a drink with Justin, now he came at me giving me a hard punch,

“He’s playing it dirty, Senator Cedric, he was just conversing with that Justin guy” TSSS, Levi said quite annoyed,

“Are you alright?” Amary asked,

“Yes, I am” she looked at me then wiped my lips off of blood with her thumb,

She stood up and she assisted me to as I stand too, “Bro, if you have unsettled business with Amary it is totally fine with me” I said, like legit though, I never resorted to punching Han’s face, Regine’s ex-husband even though I wanted to,

“We have nothing to talk about James, we better leave,” Amary looked at Senator Cedric and glared at him,

“Can we just use the washroom before we leave?” I asked Amary,

I have not planted any transfer chips at this house, “Sure,” Amary gave Justin a last glare then we went to the nearest washroom,

“Take your time” Amary said, I also signaled her to do her thing, I looked at the comfort room and made my watch scan me with any tracking device or microphones, CCTV’s as well at this comfort room, and as it detected none, I started speaking,

“I’m planting Transfer Chips, you better guide it because I could not travel around this house, travel around the house through its high ceiling,”

“Got that, spread the spiders” Levi said, I grabbed from my pocket and pulled them out, watched them disperse,

I looked at the mirror and wiped my lips, “That d**k punched me quite hard,” I said,

“You could have stopped that,”

“But I’d be too obvious, I’m going out, I’m leaving the TC’s on you”

“Got it”

As I got out Amary was there holding an Ice bag, “Does it still hurt?” she asked,

“Come one James, you can shoot well but what about combat skills?” She rolled her eyes as we both walked to the helipad of the mansion where Bryant and Caleb are probably waiting,

I replied with a quick rising of my shoulders and shrugged my head, I still need to pretend quite helpless,

We rode the helicopter and soon reached home,

Home,

The events that happened still felt surreal,

I did not know someone’s death can cause such mix in another person’s life, my life,

“James, come here” we sat at the couch and Amary cleansed my wound by the lips,

“You guys may leave us, thank you for the night Bryant and Caleb,” they nodded and left the mansion,

“Can I ask where the CCTV room is?”

“-ouch” I said as she placed some cold cream on my lips,

“Why are you asking for it?” she asked, “I just want to look if we need to add something in terms of security”

“Let’s go there later after I mend this”

“Seems like that guy has some unfinished business with you” I chuckled as I spoke.

Since my lips was quite wrecked it hurts as I chuckled,

“James, remember when I told you I went to this place in Italy where my father sent me. It was the time I had to look for myself, find a different purpose, I gave closure to myself, both us are the same, we wanted the people we love to fight for us yet we found ourselves fighting for nothing” she grabbed the things she used for aiding me and signaled me to stand up.

Most of the time, Amary says things that makes me want to climb the highest meditating mountain and re-seek my inner peace,

I left out a sigh and followed her,

She still looks very beautiful, her hair was quite messy, she looks tired, not to mention the bad news we received this morning,

We walked at the room beside the kitchen, she used her thumb print to open it,

“I will add yours to that” she said,

I just felt chills all over my body when she said that,

“Amary, why do you trust me so much?”

“Because my father did,”

She didn’t look at me and the door opened, it opened to a room full of screens with one master computer,

“Check this out” she said, she flipped the keyboard and pressed “P” I assume and the shown videos from the screen to the rooms and hallways of the mansion to Pharmakeia’s meth lab,

“You see that last screen, it is an exit a bit five hectares at the back of this mansion, straight to the farthest wall of the property, sometimes we have transactions over those walls, but it is in terms of m*******a, we can have it transacted to different kinds of people, they think that the back of our mansion just happened to be a secluded and hidden area, little did they know that it actually came from the walls of our mansion,” she chuckled as she pressed “A” and the screen went back to the hallways of the mansion,

“Seems like we need more TC’s James” Levi commented as he probably saw the screen, I cleared my throat twice to agree with him,

“Come here” she pulled me closer and placed my thumb print on the thumb scanner beside the computer,

“There, welcome to the house, since you are registered there you can enter any room that requires thumb print”

“GREAT!” Levi commented I chuckled, indeed this is a big advantage to us,

“Thanks Amary, I appreciate your hospitality,” she just nodded and tapped my shoulders, she started to review the video tapes and just quite focused on it,

“James, I ughm, Cory added a new feature to your lens, you can close your eyes for about five seconds and we will be totally blind and deaf,

“Serious . . . ly?” I almost screamed, best feature, HAHA.

“But, you can still hear us, we added this feature so we would not bother your s*x time, just do not close your eyes again for more than five seconds because we will be back again and we do not want to see rated SPG scenes” I almost choked and chuckled,

“You okay?” Amary asked,

“Heh, yes, I just almost choked myself for nothing” she rolled her eyes, she noticed a video where I was walking at night and talked to Caleb,

“What were you doing walking around the mansion in the middle of the night?” she asked, her brows met,

“I was just tiring myself,” she squinted her eyes and smiled,

“Alright then, tomorrow we will start practicing and training for combat” I rolled my eyes,

I closed my eyes for five seconds,

When I opened my eyes, her face was about an inch away maybe thinking why the heck I closed it,

Her extremely beautiful eyes,

Damn it,

“Amary, you owe me so much”

“Really?” she replied with a teasing tone,

“You owe me a week of not talking to me, if not for that cockroach this morning you would not even talk to me,” I took one step making her take a step back,

She bumped herself to the table, she was looking up at me,

“Can I ask how, how t-tall you are? Because I, I am already wearing a 6 inches heels and yet I am still looking up at you?” she’s nervous, I can see her Jugular vein bulging as I come closer, her heart beat almost audible,

“Tall enough to do this” I wrapped my arms to her waist, pulling her closer and carrying her to the table,

“You cannot ruin this dress alright? This is like a four thousand dollars dress,” I smirked at her and her face replied a thousand messages,

“Then should I” I reached for the clip at the top and removed it, making the dress a bit loose,

Her eyes widened but with a lips striking me with a conniving smile,

I slowly pulled the zipper down, leaving her with a strapless skin tone bra, and a skin tone colored panty shorts,

“Damn it” she bit her lips,

“James, you make me crazy” she said,

“I’m afraid that I might let my guard down” she said as she held me on the shoulders as I slowly slide her dress down to her toes leaving her with only her heels on, jewelry and her undergarments,

I kissed her on her tattoo,

I felt her take a deep breath,

“Come here” I stood up and now it is her who pulled me closer,

“Let’s take it slowly,” she chuckled, but as she said that with her breath almost out, she kissed me not remembering my wrecked lips,

“Ow” she chuckled, she pulled me even closer removing my suit and kissing me on the neck,

I held her in the neck as I kissed her on the cheek,

Damn her lips,

“James, can we just f**k for now?” she said under hear hungry breaths as he placed kisses on my neck, to my cheeks,

“That’s quite an awkward question ain’t it?” I cupped her waist and made my hands roam around her bare skin,

“Well, you said men got needs right? I do to” she gave me a very daring look making me just do her there and then, she pressed “L” on the keyboard as I kissed her on the neck,

“What was that for?” I asked,

“I closed all doors and entrances in the house, after all it’s all ours at this time of the day” she winked at me as she stripped me off my clothes,

She started to remove the buttons of my long sleeves, with her hungry kisses she got annoyed with the difficulty of unbuttoning it,

“Damn, it is payback time,” she chuckled and ripped the buttons of my clothe,

She groaned at the site of my shirt, “What the heck?” she pulled my shirt up angrily I removed it myself and carried her to the couch at the living room area,

“How about this, can I rip this off?” I said pertaining to her undergarments, as I kissed her and grabbed her ass to the living room,

“Too hungry aren’t we now?” I kissed her on her ears and sucked it making her moan with delight that just suits my hungry ears,

Her muffled moans were to exuberating,

I laid her on the Cleopatra sofa, she laid there beautifully in the slightly dim lights of the living room, her skin glowing, her eyes penetrating mine,

I pulled it down slowly, but before I even passed her thigh, I stopped,

“Ughh, why?” she complained like a kid,

The clanking of her heels as if it was glass as it hit the marbled floor was a go signal to take of her thong and make her gorgeous long legs spread,

“Linden, you are driving me crazy” she said as I dove to her flower that tasted like champagne,

“I cannot answer your question, because in some sense, both of us have almost had the same s**t, people who are not ready to fight for us just simply does not deserve us, right?” I saw a tear fall down her right eye and she immediately wiped it,

“Justin is not dead, you do not need to wait for justice and some sort, you may cry” she looked at me with her sad face that makes me just want to hunt Justin down and beat him to pulp,

Her tears fell, “It was the first time in what, almost two or three years since the last time I saw him, the last time I saw him was when he signed a contract that he will end our relationship in return of investment,”

“When did you start dating? I mean, I’m quite bad in math,” I asked, she chuckled and looked at the high ceiling,

“It was actually when I was eighteen, we were so in love you know, we’d sneak out and fly to Brazil and or other shitty places but on our fourth year their company experienced drought and all the way we were secretly meeting each other because knowing how powerful my father is he’d never agree of Justin” she turned around and faced the fireplace,

“Just because he thinks so,” she rolled her eyes and held her neck,

“Well you know what, I think your father just tested Justin, he actually saved you from a d**k guy, if ever Justin did not accept that bribe, then maybe it would have been different.”

“Your father is actually a nice man, despite all this, still so many things to learn about but I just know when a guy is a good one” she took a deep breath and stood up,

“We better head up,” she grabbed her heels and walked barefoot,

“Damn the floor’s cold”

“Will you ignore me for a week after this again?” I asked, she looked back at me with her beautiful face and smiled,

“We’ll train, that’s what we’ll do” and there she left me at the bottom of the staircase as I watched her sexy ass walk her way up to her room.

I grabbed our clothes from the control room, closed it and brought the clothes to the laundry,

What have this lady done unto me, I chuckled and walked to my room,

I looked at the time and it was already 2 in the morning, for how long did we have s*x anyways? Before going to my room I knocked on Amary’s and saw her cleaning up her face,

“Good night,” I said,

“Since we’re both tired, we’ll start our training at 10 in the morning, Good night Linden” I nodded and gave her thumbs up. She smiled at me and I gently closed the door.

I laid myself on the bed, removed my lens and took a very deep breath,

This lady can literally and hypothetically the death of me,
