It has been almost a month since that wonderful evening I spent with Amary but none of us talked about it as if it did not happen,

I remember waking up alone on the bed,

I got up and dressed and saw her seated on the chair casually reading a newspaper and ever since then the only stuff we talked about was about business,

Pharmakeia,

Reich,

And she’s been a bit distant and more professional. Well I don’t know what to feel and how to respond and it seemed like it was only me who felt that night was more than just lust, I mean yeah, to be honest I really liked to sleep with her, to be honest. However, there was a little fire that I felt,

The sweet savory lips of her,

The soft skin of hers,

That damn moan,

Those kisses and marks,

It was all too clear to me as memories,

Here I am at their library, reading all books related to drugs even though it was my major, recalling all s**t hard terminologies and names,

I was disturbed from my recalling when the humongous door opened and Amary entered sweating, with a funny looking face, her hair all over, heaving,

“Why? What’s wrong?” I asked worriedly as she approached me catching her breath,

“There’s . .” deep breaths,

“There’s a” another deep breath,

“COCKROACH IN MY ROOM” she screamed, I smiled at her silliness, I nodded and removed my slippers from my foot as we both headed to her room.

“You know, for the record, I am also scared or cockroaches, they weren’t named after a c***s without being scary right?” she rolled her eyes and instructed me to move forward until we reached her room,

She slowly opened her door and pointed at the wall near her bed where a cockroach stays without moving, she hid behind my back grasping on my shirt as if she’s about to rip it,

“You want me to kill it?” I asked her,

“But what if it has a family and hungry children waiting for it?” she whispered that made me chuckle,

“What do you want me to do about it? I’d seriously scream like a girl if that s**t flies” she chuckled so hard that caused the cockroach to probably be startled which caused it to go flying her f*****g life out inside the room,

Both of us started to f*****g scream out f*****g lungs off,

“FUUUUCCCCKKKK!!!” I screamed,

“FUCCCKK YOU, OPEN THE f*****g WINDOW!!!” she said laughing her ass off as I ran through the enormous window of her room and f*****g opened it,

“f**k YOU LITTLE COCKROACH, I SWEAR TO GOD RUN FOR YOUR LIFE COCKROACH!” Amary screamed and seemed like the cockroach understood it and flied out to the window,

We were heaving,

When we realized that the intruder is out of the room we looked at each other, paused, and LAUGHED OUR ASSESS OFF,

“OH MY GOSH YOU WERE LIKE . . .” She made a very funny face and ran like crazy trying to mimic the scared me,

“And you were like, ‘GO BACK TO YOUR f*****g FAMILY COCKROACH!’” I laughed so hard that I couldn’t feel my face,

“Oh my gosh James, that was so funny” we were catching our breaths when we were suddenly interrupted by a harsh opening of the door,

“Caleb?” Amary noticed Caleb’s entrance,

“Imun, he’s dead, Mexico has been bombed by the army”

“We have nothing to with that s**t, we didn’t even know there’s Mexico?” Levi interrupted,

“What do you mean Mexico?” Amary’s eyes widened,

“You didn’t know about Mexico?” Caleb responded with scared eyes and tears flowing,

“Oh-oh” Levi commented,

With the fast sequence of events I didn’t realize that Amary got Caleb, she was grabbing him by the shirt and almost chocking him,

“You better stop them really” Damn you Levi,

“Hey, hey, hey, calm down please” I grabbed Amary by the waist and she loosen her grip on Caleb’s shirt.

I saw tears fall from her eyes, the first time but she took a deep breath and most probably tried to stop it from falling,

Caleb caught his breath back and sat on the floor,

“Mexico, Guam, Philippines, Russia, South Africa, Japan, Brazil and the Virgin Islands. We made branches on those countries in a quick span of three months. s*x drugs are the ones we distribute in those countries”

“Goodness, that’s like a parasite,” Levi said as he most probably started searching,

“Caleb, I am sorry to interrupt but why does it seem that Amary is clueless about this? I mean, of course all the Amary knows is the thing that I know” He took another deep breath and wiped his face with his palms,

“I didn’t expect Henry wouldn’t inform you, Henry said you knew but he doesn’t want you involved,

“Mexico is not much of a problem since it is quite famous for its drugs, but they will surely think Techino to what we call this branch of Pharmakeia is distributing drugs over the boarders. They will find the customers but that’s the thing, Pharmakeia is the one supplying Techino, directly” Caleb spoke with his head down starring at the floor,

“I am confused, sorry”

“Techino, is the one we were never supposed to do.” Amary butted,

“Oh,”

“I think, you father’s enemy is from making Techino Amary, I am sorry but you have to be more careful most specially now that you told the press that you two are engaged, James is indeed a rich one and more will get close to you.”

“Get the good side of you” I retorted,

“I trained myself for protection since my father died the same way Amary’s father did, he was shot, and I think for the longest time I have been looking for his killer and up until now the police are f*****g clueless about it, do not rely to them, rely on yourself, your guts and instincts” I said to Amary who seemed to be too startled of what’s happening,

“Imun, Mexico, who else leads the other branches of Techino?” I looked at her, she’s angry, scared, she stood up and lit a stick of cigar.

She inhaled deep and puffed the smoke out as she wiped her tears,

“No injustice deserves these tears,” she said, she leaned on the window and looked at Caleb.

“So in each new branch that we have, Techino, we have different leaders in each country?”

Caleb nodded,

“My father has always been very specific of many details, each countries will probably have jurisdictions, tell me about them” she sat down on the couch near her bed facing the window,

“To the looks of it seems like Caleb has already told you about Mexico” Bryant entered, grabbed a chair and dragged it near me,

“You know guys, what I entered is seriously out of my control, and not that I want to tell you such words but I am a burden to all of you if I am clueless, so is Amary, of course I way more clueless than she is, all I know is Pharmakeia, Senator Cedric and Raphael, and this underground meth lab, drug lab that you have, then your sequence of deliver, pay, and go but other that I believe I deserve some details,”

“The details are better given in personal, experienced than told, I have given you details, that is for sure but what we need to hear now is Techino, I need to see those places, I need to be able to know more about it, and you two clearly know that this is now mine and you two are now under my ruling”

“Damn, scary red head” Levi said, she is indeed scary with how she looks know, how different her eyes are from how it was a few minutes ago before Caleb barged in,

“Look, before she even makes a scary move you both better inform us,” Bryant took a deep breath as we both looked at them,

“Three months ago, your father gave us a go signal to start Techino. Senator Cedric did give us assurance of protection, which is now very different from how I expected since Techino got bombed, Techino as you know is only and solely for s*x drugs, it was undeniable that your father has also released the buying of different resorts, and the other aren’t finalized yet, we haven’t done any ribbon cutting or such, but Mexico is the only one different, your father bought a house, a simple one, as per requested by Imun, so I know this is an isolated case, a foreigner living in Mexico will probably be very suspicious, I believe this is a trial, Mexico was a trial and your father would never have been able to buy any resort as such in that country, he must’ve tried the regular transactions,”

“And it failed, why did you not stop him? We all know Mexico is a delicate place, it’s like sending someone over China and be beheaded for bringing in drugs! The first time Imun set foot on that country, you all know it was the wrong thing. You are all stupid for trusting Senator Cedric” her angered face made her grab a gun from her drawer opened the sliding door to her balcony and shot the vases,

I seriously swallowed my own saliva because her aura scared me, all her shot was on the right angle, making the flowers explode like fireworks,

Caleb’s eyes widened,

“I’m waiting” Amary said,

She went back to smoking and of course I cannot stop her now,

“Well your father insisted Amary,” she chuckled and looked from the above,

“My father was gullible,”

“Your father had plans Amary, and his death is probably not part of it, you know he is very smart and if he was still here, he would not allow this to happen,”

“But he is not, he is no longer here and you should have still asked me if I was even informed of Techino,” both Caleb and Bryant felt guilty about it, they licked their lips in sync and looked at each other,

As if they were saying it is your fault,

“Alright now, we cannot bring the dead back but we can do something to save the others and keep Techino from working, if that is what he wanted” Amary rolled her eyes,

“I do not want to talk to the two of you for now, please talk to James, he is my husband to be and he will directly be my right hand, you better start cultivating his brain of this f****d up world,” I looked at the two of them, I stood up and they followed me,

Before we left the room, Caleb and Bryant took a glance of Amary,

“I better bring you to Henry’s office, Amary chose not to enter it until she brings revenge to her father’s death, you will know every details about Pharmakeia and our new branch Techino” I nodded,

“Let’s talk there, after all we have not properly talked about this, I allowed Amary to handle you, but I guess I have to step in now” Bryant said as we walked to the hallway, from the west wing of the mansion to the left wing,

“I am sure Amary told you that the left wing is his father’s,”

“She did”

Caleb was silent as we all walked to a on the same side of my room on the west wing,

“This is Henry’s office, while opposite this room is his and his wife, I guess you may enter both rooms.” I nodded as he twisted the knob,

He turned the light on and I was shook with what I saw, the four sides of the floor it was made of glass and beneath it are different kinds of gun, while the middle part is wooden,

“Those guns are real, just so you know” we continued walking to the wooden floor below the enormous table, around the room are books and other documents I guess,

“Each bookshelves are arranged in a way, shelve one, on the right side as you entered is about Reich, then Pharmakeia, and so on, this room is very important, you see this button, when you have guests who are you know not allowed to know about Pharmakeia visits, you push this down so that the wooden covers for the Pharmakeia shelves are covered, it is not difficult to identify, Pharmakeia shelves are thinner than Reich’s shelves, so it will just look like a design plus the wooden covers are carved” he signaled me to sit down at the chair who used to be Henry’s so I did, in front of the chair is a table with engraving of Henry’s name visible as you sit,

“You surely shouldn’t love that chair, I hope this place will not have a lotus flower effect on you” Levi said,

“So I think it is time that you educate me about Pharmakeia and Techino,”

“Pharmakeia, Amary knows about it every single detail, let her tell you that but let me tell you about Techino” they both sat down on the chair in front of the table. Bryant pushed a button the lights went a bit dim and a picture was projected,

“This is Techino, Mexico, Guam, Philippines, Russia, South Africa, Japan, Brazil and the Virgin Islands, all are of course sub branches of Pharmakeia but is making its own name.” I nodded, he stood up and approached the wall were the picture is projected,

It was a graphic organizer, each country with each leaders, each leaders with each hotels or resort to manage,

“Techino, is affiliated with a hotel or a resort right?” I nodded as I listened,

“Each resort or hotel are now all under the name of our little princess, Amary, each hotel will gather about a weekly party for the rich and the elite, and that is when drugs will be dispersed, sadly Mexico is quite difficult and Henry did not want to buy any property there, I am not sure why but Imun, being a Mexican, still proceeded with the plan and started a regular inn there, and inns does not start parties, and you guys already know what followed after that.” I shrugged my head,

“Imun, he is a graduate of a Bachelor degree in New York, why would some guy like him join this s**t?” Levi retorted as he probably searched the shown names projected,

“Why does this guy seem a bit familiar, Imun?” Bryant’s face was curious,

“You are from New York right?” I nodded,

“Well, Imun did reside in New York for about four years,”

“I see, so he was not from Nashville? What was he doing in New York for four years?” I asked again, hoping I was not being suspicious,

“He took his Bachelor degree, a young mind he was, but he was addicted to the idea of s*x drugs and he highly glorifies Henry,” seems like Henry can be very persuasive,

“But Techino in Mexico, it is an isolated case, indeed, something we cannot avoid from happening, it is Mexico, a hotspot and a hot place,”

“We could have avoided Imun’s death if we have listened to his call last night, that he think they were being watched!” Caleb butted, angered as he hit the wooden table with his closed fist,

“It was Imun’s mistake to continue such party, a dalliance, to occur, people high of drugs, screwing each other like they have never before? That does not seem normal and that is not how Techino works. His death was not our fault, it was his.”

Caleb took a deep breath and rummaged through his hair,

“How does Techino works?”

“Like Pharmakeia, each country has one disperser, one parasite, the parasite makes a party, a gathering, this parasite makes different names to each party held, the party has to remain “underground”, exclusive, to about 20 persons, it can be a group of three, a group of four, a pair, as long as it makes 20 persons the party is closed. In each party they have fun, mingling, dancing, singing, drinking, like a typical one, and at the end of each party a s*x drug is sold, each s*x drug costs about $250 dollars per drug” my mouth dropped,

“How the hell is one single tablet causes that much? I suppose it is like Viagra or something like that,”

“Well, this is why Pharmakeia is famous, we make drugs that has very different effect than of the regular ones, Henry have created a very unique mixture of chemicals that when induced it really makes a person” he went back to his chair and took a glance of me,

“High?” I finished his sentence,

“If that’s how to say it”

“Then this s*x drugs what does it do?”

“Techino is what we call the drug itself, it makes you happy, I guess, long lasting endurance and stamina for intimate moments, they said you will feel more orgasmic, you will appreciate more of the s*x and whatever s**t is being done”

“Does Henry make the medicines himself?” Caleb and Bryant nodded,

“Damn, this is why he needed me, I was a graduate of Pharmacy, a well-rounded one to be exact,” they both leaned on the back rest of their chairs,

“I thought all this time, he wanted me for protection for his daughter, I mean I trained, I have mix martial arts skills, but it was this, he needed someone to continue his works”

“It must have been that, exactly that is” Bryant closed his fist and took a deep breath,

“Knowing Amary, she would love to be involved in Techino, you handle her, because those parties are not your typical rave, they are all masked, hiding behind their desires until they left the party, of course aside from buying medicines, they have to check in the hotel, the next day they will have eat, stay, enjoy at the hotel, depending on the number of SD they bought” I chuckled,

“Very very clever” Levi commented,

“Damn it,”

“Tonight will be Senator Cedric’s party, it is a party who his supporters the rich and the famous are invited to, of course yours, your family’s, and Amary’s presence are to be expected. Senator Cedric is bound to keep the secrecy of Pharmakeia, so no worries about, and you shall too keep the secrecy of it, you know that and you need that, to survive.” I seriously swallowed again my own saliva, I felt a bit scared for a moment,

Techino is like straight out of American Horror Stories, the Hotel series, that is what came to my mind,

“That’s all I can say James, the delivery of the message is up to you,” I took a deep breath,

“I will, but let us give her time, maybe she can take the Runner’s party tonight,”

Bryant and Caleb left the room, leaving me alone in a room full of evidences,

I stood up and approached the first shelve for Pharmakeia, I grabbed the first book on the top layer, upper left side,

“Every s**t there is evidence” Levi said, as I cannot speak without assurance the room is safe, I cleared my throat twice, indicating that they have to scan the room for cameras, microphone, or anything that might spy my movements,

“Camera, 11 o’clock and 1 o’clock, that’s all” I grabbed my pocket and let the metal spiders make their way to the cameras,

I placed the book back and pressed the button for the covers of Pharmakeia shelves, after all you will never know when death will come.

I left the room and saw Amary waiting outside,

“I will hear of it once I can, and I do know today is the runner’s party, senator Cedric to be exact, let’s get ready, party starts at 7. Wear a red tie, any shade would do,” I nodded and she started walking,

Her nose were a bit pink and her eyes trying to stop the tears from falling, I was not dumb not to see it,

“Amary, I respect that you do not want to cry for their death has not received any justice yet, I hope you know that I am here for you” she stopped from walking but did not turn around to face me,

“Thank you James” she glanced at me through her peripheral sight and gave me a faint smile.

She continued walking straight to her room,

I just followed her and watched her enter her room as I entered mine, I grabbed some suit and tie, I will just wear a typical suit and tie combination with white long sleeves,

I took a shower and damn, there’s so many things happening at this house.

“If you can make a copy of each of those things, I mean, you better get a copy it” come to think of it, Henry definitely slid something in my pocket on the day of Amary’s birthday,

Damn it, well, I haven’t washed any clothes and my clothes haven’t been washed in a month,

I finished my shower, wrapped my lower body with towel and rummaged over my used pants, I am definite that the pants I was wearing that day is under the . . . bed,

Tada, it is here, I grabbed it and searched through the pockets and ay, ay, ay, it is a microSD,

“Bingo”

“How can you even forget such important detail?” Levi commented,

“Believe me, I have never been this occupied, this s**t was harder than the German case we handled” Levi and the team chuckled,

“How’s it going there” I asked Levi,

“Well, Cory turned this place into a lab, and started to create something we can totally use” I opened my laptop and grabbed the MicroSD

“Enlighten me” I said as I start to open the files the MicroSD,

“Cory is developing a lens that can detect drugs, like an x-ray s**t that can detect drugs even if it is inside a container or of such,” Levi said, I smiled,

“Well, that’s good s**t Cory,”

“While Ron is helping in also making that lens so you may detect possible explosive materials” I nodded,

“You never failed to wow me guys, I will be glad to marry this team” I chuckled and so did they as I looked over the files and sent it to Levi,

“Look into it for me, there’s a reason he gave that”

I found I think the last piece of clean sleeves I have got and the last clean pants,

“Well, you can use that pants five more times” Levi said,

“Man, I can use this for about a month” we all chuckled,

I wore my briefs and boxer shorts, a plane white t-shirt, then my long sleeves, tacked the shirt and the long sleeves inside the pants and wore my tie the suit,

As I was arranging my tie, Amary came barging in,

“James, help?” she was holding the strap? I think . . . of her red dress, no, it isn’t just red, it is dark red, whose sleeves are not straps, it’s capped like lace, from the neck to the sleeves, and the chest area has a ticker layer,

“Damn,” Levi said,

“Fff” I almost cursed on Levi,

“Ugh what?”

“No, I thought I ate your hair,” I chuckled and so did Levi,

I zipped her dress and she faced me,

“Help me choose the right bag for this girly dress,” she said, I followed her with me still bare footed to her closet,

“What do you want to bring? I mean, you know my mom carries a thin purse and at the end of the day, the pockets of my sleeves are full of her stuff” she chuckled at my comment,

“Well, maybe just a lipstick, some money, and my phone” I nodded,

I grabbed a black purse or bag I don’t know, but I do know the brand my mother loves Alexander McQueen,

“Great choice,” she grabbed it, “it actually is a mini leather Bucket bag and this is perfect for my dress” She looked at me and wore her high heels then placed her stuff inside the bag,

“See you brought more than you expect to bring,” she looked at me and then to her bag,

“HAHA, I mean my bank cards are important right?” she chuckled, “Let’s go, we are riding the helicopter for this party, I do not even want to spend more than an hour road trip to the fucktard’s party,”

“Can you give me a moment because I haven’t even worn any shoes nor fix my hair” I chuckled, she bit her lips,

“Goodness” she pushed me to my room then she sat on my bed, watched me as I wear my shoes and fix my hair,

I sprayed some perfume and she commented, “Damn” she lick her lips and smiled at me,

“You know, you better not lick your lips like that considering that I haven’t had s*x in a month, you treated me like a child and made me learn so many things in a month, you made me stay most of my days in a month, since that airplane s**t we had” she looked at her nails with a sarcastic smirk,

“Well, you never initiated, plus seriously tho Linden, do you really want to talk about it?”

“In time, but does s*x need talking?” I smirked at her which made her roll her eyes, I placed my wallet in my suit’s inner pockets, grabbed my phone and wore my watch,

“HA HA HA,” she stood up and looked at me,

“We better get going before s**t goes differently”

“Yeah,”

We both chuckled as we made our way out, we came across Caleb, who as he noticed us stopped in his tracks.

“Ugh. . . the chopper is ready” I know Caleb is in love with Amary, no words needed, his eyes spoke for him,

“Thank you Caleb” Amary said, I acknowledged his presence, we went to the chopper and it only took about 30 minutes to reach Senator Cedric’s mansion, it is full of people, elite,

“Good Evening, Mr. Linden, Ms. Anthur, welcome to the Runner’s party” a waiter I presume welcomed us with a glass of champagne for the two of us,

We were walking through the crowd, greeting people we know, lots of them on top of that,

“Linden, Anthur, you made it” Senator Cedric greeted us with a smirk,

“Hold me and try to stop me from killing him, now” I held her by the waist and pulled her closer,

“We did make it” I acknowledged his presence,

“Well you two have fun tonight”

“He’s trying to avoid Mexico” Amary’s eyes rolled and watched Senator Cedric mingle to a certain group of crowd,

“Amary?” A guy’s voice I assume called Amary and we both glanced to who it was,

“Justin Fitella? Bro, it has been ages since the last time we saw each other!” James was actually a good childhood friend of mine,

“James with an Anthur?” well, seems like they have history, Justin did not even acknowledged my presence,

“Well, I am not sure if you watched the news but Amary and I are sort of like engaged” Justin licked his lips,

“It was nice to see you Justin, we have people to meet” Amary said with her sad and avoiding tone,

“They have history yah bet, Amary dated this guy secretly for about five years because Henry was actually strict when it comes to relationships,” Levi said, “It was quite an uproar” he added,

“Well, I do respect that I hope we’d get a chance to meet talk”

“You may talk to my fiancée, Justin” I smiled at him and showed territory over Amary,

“Good job” Amary whispered,

“Never mind, it was nice seeing you, Amary, James, seems like Henry finally freed you out of your cage Amaryllis” Justin walked away and Amary bit her lower lips,

“Damn this runner’s party, you’ll never expect who to meet” Amary sipped from the champagne glass,

“Well, it is just starting”
