Evanora growled, "Why aren't you going along with the plan?"
"I told you, I am not our mother. I don't want to play into your evil ways," Marge stated for what seemed like the hundredth time.
"Mother raised you to carry out evil plans and kill others, yet, you think you can be good? You will never be any better than she was. Why didn't you just let her kill us?" Evanora asked as she looked at a picture of her four-year-old self with her baby sister, Eve.
Marge sighed, "I tried to save you both and give you a better life. I didn't know your father was more evil than Mother. I still tried to get you to his sister so that you could both have a normal life but, your father caught me and took you away from me."
"Did you know my father was a hybrid? He is half-vampire. He became a scientist to feed on his test subjects, and no one would ever question him. I guess that makes me a witch-vampire-human. Did you know that vampire powers are stronger than witch powers?" Evanora snorted. "Since I am only a fourth vampire, you would think my powers are weak. Instead, because of my witch powers, I just may be more powerful than you, my demon-witch sister. After all, I did manage to kidnap two goddesses and a goddess's guardian all by myself, no thanks to you."
Marge shook her head, "I guess you could say you kidn*pped three goddesses. Even if I haven't taken my throne yet." she said with snark.
Laney laughed, "I guess that does make her stronger than you, huh?"
"Why don't you like me?" Marge asked Laney.
"You had my real mom killed. Now, I am stuck with this useless elemental," Laney shook her head, and she looked out the window where Jennifer worked in the garden. "She is kind and has always been there for me, but I want my real mother, Marge!"
"You will never accept me as your aunt, will you?" Marge questioned as the anger started to rise.
Laney laughed, "You are nothing but a mother murderer. You killed your mother and mine."
"Hey, can we get some water in here, please? Cassandra is about to pass out from lack of fluids," Joy yelled from the prison room.
Marge turned and walked out of the room, "I will bring you water and food."
Evanora laughed, "I don't know why you keep trying to save them. Once they die, I will take over one of their thrones, and Layne dear will take over the other."
Marge just shook her head as you walked to the kitchen to get a pitch of freshwater. She never trusted her sister, so she would wash the pitcher and pump fresh water. It bothered her that her sister may have poisoned the well water, but she did see her drink from it often, and Marge did as well.
Marge walked to the door and unlocked it, "I am sorry it took me so long. Would you please enjoy this water? I will see what I can get for you to eat."
Victoria put her arm on Marge's then whispered, "Are you any closer to helping us out of here? If I don't get her back to her throne soon, she is going to die."
Marge shook her head and looked at the floor, "I was hoping that Skylar, James, and the elemental guardians were going to save us all."
"They can't. They had to leave on their world tour. Their paths are set, and if they try to save us, all the gods and goddesses will perish," Victoria turned her head towards Joy. "Her family is trying very hard to kill us all off as well. I wonder if Evanora is working with them."
Marge frowned, "I don't know. I just want to leave and see my son and his wife. I know I can't leave without you three." She shook her head and continued, "I may seem free, but I think she has some spell on me to keep me from leaving. I have tried to leave to get help several times."
Victoria shook her head, "Don't try anymore. I have tried to contact my brother and sisters as well. They aren't able to hear me. I can hear their uneasiness but can't understand them. She has worked very hard to make this k********g a success. I heard her say she is part vampire. They are very dangerous if they ever turn to evil. Please, I ask you to be extra careful. I know she's your sister, and you love her."
Marge nodded, leaving the room and leaving the door unlocked. As she walked down the hall, she heard it automatically lock. She sighed to herself, "This whole castle is enchanted now. How did she ever get more powerful than Mother ever was?"
Jennifer walked into the kitchen as Marge began to prepare dinner for the prisoners.
"You shouldn't be cooking. That's my job. I will take care of cooking for everyone," Jennifer stated, monotoned.
Marge shook her head, "Jennifer, why don't you rest tonight? I will take care of all the cooking."
Jennifer repeated, "You shouldn't be cooking. That's my job. I will take care of cooking for everyone," in the same monotoned voiced.
This worried Marge, and she assumed that Evanora was planning on killing off everyone soon. She wasn't sure if she was included in the plan or if her sister would let her live. As Marge stood back and watched Jennifer cook to ensure that nothing poisonous was added to the food, a plan started to form in her mind.
"What if I can find Eve? What if I can reconnect Evanora with her sister? Would that help her to become a better person, or are we all doomed?" Marge thought to herself.
Jennifer cooked a good meal with nothing poisonous included, but Marge wondered if she was programmed to do that to make sure Evanora wasn't caught trying to poison the prisoners. There were more prisoners than Victoria, Cassandra, and Joy, but Marge couldn't find them in the castle, which concerned her even more. Was Evanora secretly building an army, or was she just killing off people she felt did her wrong?
