CHAPTER 13. ARRIVING TO MIDNIGHT MOON PACK

1418 Words
BILL'S POV "They killed Miriam, master." I am hearing the update on our attack to the wolves. When Brandon proposed the attack, it made sense. He needed revenge, and I wanted to test the waters, wolves have oppressed us long enough with their rules, and their no entering in wolf territory crap, but killing the future mother of our coven was not in the plans. "How could that be? She was the most powerful witch amongst all of you, wolves included, who killed her?" I am trying to contain my rage. This is impossible! She was trained and had magic like no other, I trained her myself. How was I so stupid?? "A wolf attacked her, my lord. She was cursing the land and got distracted, and the wolf took her from behind before she even finished. We had to leave after that." From behind? like cowards! That's all they are. "Where were you? You were supposed to look after her!" I ask, annoyed. She could hold her own, but I still assigned Jeffrey as her protection. "I was guarding her, but those wolves are ferocious, I was attacked by two others and got distracted fighting them. By the time I freed myself, it was too late. I ordered everyone to return. Without Miriam's magic, those wolves didn't stand a chance, and neither did we. They knew how to fight magic." Could it be possible? Most packs know they are at a loss when magic is involved, I don't know of anyone who trains against magic attacks. "Bring her body to the mausoleum, I have to know what they did." I have to dig in her brain before is too late. "I... Her body....I couldn't take it, lord, please, it was all too fast. Please forgive me." This useless i***t begs. The only consolation I have is that wolves won't know what to do with her body. I won't kill Jeffrey, not just yet. I still need to find a new mother for this coven before is too late. "I will give you another chance, if you fail again I will kill you without hesitation. We need a new leader, you know that witches and warlocks need a leader, and it has to be a woman. You are going to bring the new mother of Misty Waters coven to us." It is time for plan B. She is of age now, it is time for you to meet daddy Isabella. ISABELLA'S POV "Calm down, Riley, we will be there as soon as possible. We need to pack, we are all moving to Moon Dust coven, even Steve, so is a lot. Normally, you know we would just blink, but since we are all moving, we will take longer. keep the body away from everyone and as fresh as possible." Amy has been talking to Riley for hours, I think I heard something about an attack and witches, but right now, I don't care about much. I haven't felt good enough to even care what's going on around. My body aches, and my head pounds really hard. Amy and Patrick are doing what they can, but is not good enough. It helps at times, but the effect of her teas are not long enough. They insist is my wolf trying to come through, but then, why does it feel like my heart is going to explode? I didn't know having a wolf would be so painful. "Mmmm." What he hell? I keep hearing a voice in my head. Whimpers, crying, and howling? I feel like I'm going crazy! "Good, you are awake. We need to hurry. I hope you are packed because Riley needs us. did you send your things back home?" She's been bugging me with the same thing since yesterday, after Riley called her for the first time. "I haven't decided if I'm going. I have things to figure out here, and I'm not feeling well." I explain. "Oh, you are going. I didn't want it to come to this, but you leave me no option." She says, snapping her fingers, and I see everything start packing itself, and little by little, things start disappearing. "Amy, what the hell? Those are my things. I don't know if I want to go back home. I understand why my parents did what they did, but it doesn't mean I'm fine with it. What if that is the reason I haven't found my soul mate?" "Oh, believe me, that is not the reason, and trust me, you have a mate, and when you finally accept him, you'll start feeling better. We are leaving in two hours." She says, upset, leaving the room and slamming the door in the process. Aggh, why? Since she forgave Patrick, they have been planning their ceremony to formally commit to each other and then the ceremony to make Amy the mother and leader of our coven. I am happy for them, but I can't stop feeling sad for myself, and now, with Amy as the new leader, I have to technically do as she says and is annoying. I finally get the strength to get ready, and I am on time to leave. They decided to make the drive back to the Moon Dust Coven instead of just blinking there. "Finally, we are going straight to Riley's new pack. Everyone is ready." Patrick tells me when he sees me come out of my bedroom. We finally get in the SUV and start the drive. Patrick and Amy are in the front seats, and Steve and I are in the back. Such a long drive, and I am not feeling good. The weather is cold, at times, we get snow, yet my body is so hot, there are moments that I feel like I'm on fire, I close my eyes to rest a minute, I can't handle the heaviness in my heart and my whole body. "Bella, wake up!" I'm hearing someone call me. "Bella, we are almost there, wake up!" Patrick shakes me. I slowly open my eyes. The light day is blinding me. "Ughhh, why is it so bright!" I complain. "Is the normal amount of bright, you dont get to complain, you spent two whole days asleep while the rest of us took turns driving." Patrick tells me annoyed. "Open your eyes. We are about to enter wolf territory. Even though we are guests, we need to be alert." He keeps saying. "So much security, how were they even attacked?" Steve asks when we pass a gigantic gate where two guards wave for us to continue, and then four more wolves direct us to a dirt road to continue the drive. "Can you feel that?" I ask everyone. After goosebumps erupt on my body and a slight headache joins me. "Yes, it is strong, too. I don't think they finished, it feels incomplete. We would be throwing up by now." Amy states when we realize that the land is cursed. "What kind it is? it feels dark, heavy. Did Riley say anything about anyone being sick? or anyone dying suddenly?" I ask, curious. "No, she hasn't said anything about that. Maybe it hasn't started. We may still have time to revert it." Amy responds with worry in her tone. "Is going to take a while. Do you even have the ingredients to stop such a powerful threat?" Steve asks. Being with witches for so long, he knows a thing or two about magic, not to mention, he was used as an experiment for witches, he has some weird magic of his own. "We can gather them. The wolves probably have some, and we may have something. We need to find out which coven did this and the correct spell to know exactly what to do." Patrick responds with assertion. Dad has worked with him to train him personally. He is the most knowledgeable wizard we have, and Amy has some very impressive magic, and she never stopped practicing. We finally come to a stop in front of a big wooden cabin, it is surrounded by trees and the roof and ground are covered in snow. Looks big, but I imagined the pack house bigger than this. In the porch is Riley holding hands with a brown hair, brown eyed, fit looking man, and next to them is, What? it can't be, every time I close my eyes, he is there kissing me. He is not only in my dreams, but he is real?
