CHAPTER 14. MEETING AGAIN

LIAM'S POV

"I still don't get it. Why are they not staying in the pack house?" Adam asks for like the third time.

"Even if they are going to help us, I can't trust them completely. I have to look after our pack." I respond.

"Really? Then why is Olivia staying in the pack house and not in the cells? My friends are good and have never betrayed anyone, I don't think I can say the same about her." Riley retorts, and her comment really annoys me and my wolf. The growl comes without me able to stop it, but Adam snaps defensively, moving his mate behind him.

"Watch it, dude, she is not saying anything that is not true. These people are not hiding what they are, and I am willing to bet that Olivia's story has gaps." Adam jumps defensively for his mate. I can't stand when anyone questions Olivia. She came here for me because she loves me, that has to count for something.

"Olivia is not just any rogue or a prisoner. We are still deciding what to do about her. In the meantime, there is no need to treat her like trash just because her mate decided to attack. She is going to stay in the pack house, and you have to treat her with respect." I don't know why I have to give so much explanation. Why can't everyone see it my way? If anything, she is a victim.

"Are you planning to make her your Luna? Tell me now, because I don't think I can serve as a Beta under someone I don't trust. I rather leave than stay watching how you and her destroy this pack." Adam says, challenging. I have thought about it for the past two days since she arrived, but I am not fully convinced, plus there's her mate issue, too complicated right now.

"We need a Luna, yes! Olivia wants us! We need a Luna!" My wolf starts rambling.

"I have to solve the pack's safety before I can think of taking anyone as my mate. Olivia has to figure out her mate situation as well, so rest assured, I have no plans to make her mine." I respond to Adam, annoyed. I don't know why it is bothering me so much when anyone questions Olivia. She hurt me, and her mate did attack our pack, so why can't I just send her back?

"Because she is just perfect! We need her." My wolf says almost too excited. I have to be careful. He was never convinced about her before, and lately, he is acting very weird.

"They're here!" Riley says, jumping with excitement. A black SUV parks in front of us. Amy is driving, while a black haired, dark eyed male is sitting in the passenger's seat, typing something on his phone. In the back, the vampire looking unbothered, and another girl that I can't see very well is also looking at something in her phone.

One by one, they start getting out of the SUV and coming our way.

First, Amy, which has a huge smile when she sees Riley, then the guy in the passenger's seat, who is keeping a close eye at everything around, like being on alert, then the vampire, who just leans against their vehicle, and then she comes from the other side, a gorgeous brunette, beautiful big brown eyes, perfect full lips that I wish I could wrap around my c**k, hour glass body with the most prefect hips, to carry all my pups in there, and the most round perfect set of breasts. I have never felt attraction like this before.

"Snap out of it, she is going to notice. Your c**k is getting hard. You'll scare her!" My wolf brings me back to reality. What the hell is wrong with me? She is a witch! Why did I react like that? She must be trying to bewitch me. I better be careful.

"I think she already has, she is the girl from the dream! The evil one!" My wolf lets me know, and I suddenly remember it. A couple of nights ago, I had the weirdest dream. I met this girl and I immediately liked her, we were in the middle of making out and suddenly, she stopped and gave me a wicked smile, the next thing I know, she is digging in my chest, ripping my heart out. The pain from the dream was so real that it woke me up. How could she be real? Was the dream a warning?

"We need to be alert. The others might be wanting to help, but this one might be evil." I tell my wolf. I will become this witch's shadow if I have to, but I won't let her hurt me.

"Liam!" Adam is calling me, upset.

The brunette is standing right in front of me, f**k, why is she so good looking? She is giving me a curious look, she is leaning her head and looks to be deep in concentration. Is she casting a spell?

"Be careful, witch. Trying to cast a spell on the Alpha is a punishable offense." I warn her when she is lifting a hand.

"Is Isabella, wolf! And it is not me you have to worry about! Your whole pack is cursed, you are cursed too! If I were you, I'd be careful how you talk to me!" She says, taking a step forward too close to me. Her scent is so sweet, so enticing, so perfect. I can't let her get to me, I have to control myself.

"Explain yourself witch! How is my land cursed!" Why would she say that? Everything feels and looks the same.

"She is referring to the attack, the magic is thick all through your land. Is very dark, too. They didn't get to finish the spell, but soon, everyone will be affected by it." Amy interrupts her. "You have a heavy cloud on you as well, if affecting your wolf, but I think it doesn't have to do with the curse in your land. It feels heavy and ancient. Someone around you is practicing very dark magic." Amy continues, I have never liked magic, my grandfather was cursed by a witch once, and he is now blind, that is why I never want anything to do with them.

"Olivia is nice! She loves us!" My wolf says out of nowhere. Maybe....Could it be? Olivia? But she said she loves me, there has to be another explanation.

"Something tells me you know who is doing that to you! If you don't act fast, your wolf is going to go crazy. It looks like a love spell, the problem is, they don't exist, they are an illusion to drive the other crazy and make them lose their will. You should be careful who you soround yourself with." The Witch warns me.

"You are lying witch! Prove it!" I challenge her. Deep inside I think I know Olivia is suspicious, but I can't believe it. She loves me.

'She loves your title. Her wolf is not as strong as the sweet one." My wolf states. He is confusing me. A minute ago, he was infatuated with Olivia, and now he thinks the witch has a wolf. Maybe I am going crazy.

The witch takes my head between her palms. it feels almost painful. My wolf is growling defensively, but the girl is not caring. Every sound around sounds muffled, and I'm starting to feel dizzy.

"Stop her! She is trying to kill us!" My wolf says desperate. I try to move, but I feel like I'm being contained, almost like someone tied me with the strongest ropes.

"Bella! Stop! You are hurting him!" Someone yells at the witch.

"He will hurt more if we don't do something. Let me...." I can't hear anything else, I don't know if she stopped or if I passed out, but the pain is gone, and all I see is her, standing in front of me looking stoic.

"Mate!" My wolf says, and my world turns upside down for the second time since I met this girl for the first time.
